Tovarich: We did our best to fight back from the 28-3 run they ended the first half on. It was one of the most insane 5 minutes or whatever I've ever witnessed. I didn't think we had a chance after that. We got back in it though. We hit a couple 3's instead of being 1/10 like the first half. We got some steals. We even came back and took the lead. But I think 100% of the time someone has a chance to win at the buzzer, it seems to go in. I had zero doubt they'd nail the shot with .3 to go. We tried to foul again to force at least a harder shot, but just like Alabama a couple weeks ago, someone manages to get totally wide open away from our entire defense for an open shot and like I said, 100% of the time it seems to go in. Rebounding was obviously pitiful. I knew it would be with their elite talent down low. But shooting almost 70% is crazy. I'd call it a fluke because it should be but I've seen it who knows how many times in my career. It felt like whatever had to happen to lose was going to happen at the end. They have more talent than us, so it's not shocking we lost, but to lose that way is rough.
Reporter: Should getting the ball down low to Moody have been the plan on every possession?
Tovarich: We turned it over a few times trying too hard to get it to him, he had it swiped away the microsecond it touched him a couple times. Obviously we should have tried harder and more and maybe it would have been different. He's the only reason we had a chance.
Reporter: Should this team go further next year with everyone back?
Tovarich: We'll be pre-season top 3 I would think. We'll hopefully be better experienced at rebounding to go further, maybe our defense will be better. Maybe we'll be more consistent shooting. Our team unity should be great, so there's lots of perks to that.
