Most of this team is starting to progress and gel. Thompson and Zastoupil are starting to take on more on the offensive end than last season since we don't have Brown to fall back on.

Kirk Williams and Thompson trade a pair of free throws then after Jacobson makes two free throws, Severovas puts in a layup. Washington cans 1 of 2 free throws then after Richard hits a 3-pter, Kirk Williams drops in a layup to tie the game, 7-7, with 15:00 remaining. Swecker and Norwood trade layups then Gomes and Zastoupil trade jumpers. Swecker drains a 3-pter then Washington and Dupre each put in layups to give Longwood a seven point lead, 18-11, halfway through the opening period. Barrett and Montgomery trade layups then Montgomery and Warden each bank in jumpers. Jacobson puts in a layup then after Zastoupil slams in a dunk, Kirk Williams drops in a layup to put the Lancers up by five, 24-19, with just under 5:00 left. Swecker makes two free throws then Richard and Thompson both sink jumpers. Mulholland cans a hook shot and Jacobson banks in a jumper then Severovas puts in a layup. Thompson hits a 3-pter then Severovas and Zastoupil trade layups as Army cuts Longwood's lead to two at the half. Thompson leads Army with 7 points and Swecker leads Longwood with 7.

Norwood cans a hook shot to tie the game then Kirk Williams puts in a layup and Swecker hits a 3-pter. Jacobson banks in a jumper then Kirk Williams drops in a layup to give Longwood a five point lead, 39-34, with 15:00 remaining. Jacobson sinks a jumper and Zastoupil buries a hook shot then Gomes and Kirk Williams each drain jumpers. After Swecker puts in a layup, Thompson hits a jumper to cut the Lancers' lead to five, 45-40, midway through the second half. Draper cans a hook shot then Longwood goes on an 8-0 run with layups from Draper, Dupre and Mulholland. Army gets layups from Norwood and Brewer to cut the Lancers' lead to nine, 53-44, with just under 5:00 left. Doyle and Washington trade jumpers then Jacobson and Swecker trade jumpers. Washington and Jacobson trade layups then Kirk Williams tips in his own miss. Goodman drains a 3-pter with less than 30 seconds to go as Army falls on the road to the Lancers.

Jacobson sinks a runner and both Norwood and Goodman put in layups then Jacobson makes 1 of 2 free throws to give Army the lead. The Black Knights continue the run to 15-0 as Richard converts a 3-point play then Jacobson puts in a layup and drains a 3-pter. Gibson slams in a dunk then Zastoupil sinks a short jumper to give Army a nine point lead, 19-10, halfway through the first half. First Half
Jacobson hits a 3-pter and later two free throws then Radford puts in a layup. Thompson drains a 3-pter to give Army an 8-2 lead with 15:00 remaining. Jacobson and Zastoupil drop in layups then after Jacobson sinks a jumper, Elwell buries a 3-pter. Taylor puts in a layup then Thompson slams in a dunk on a fast break to give the Black Knights a seven point lead, 16-9, halfway through the opening period. Elwell makes 1 of 2 free throws then Radford sinks a runner and Mundweiler hits a 3-pter. Goodman puts in a layup then after Radford tips in a rebound, Koszuta drops in a layup. Elwell drains a 3-pter then Zastoupil cans a hook shot to put Army up by four, 24-20, with 5:00 left. Zastoupil puts in a layup then Smith and Radford both sink jumpers. Czeski hits a 3-pter then after Jacobson cans a jumper, Mundweiler drains a 3-pter to cut the Black Knights' lead to three, 39-36, midway through the second half. Thompson sinks a jumper and Taylor hits a 3-pter then after Richard drains a jumper, Smith drills a 3-pter to put the Seahawks to within one, 43-42, with 5:00 left. The lead changes hands four times as Czeski and Norwood trade jumpers then Radford makes two free throws and Zastoupil drains a 3-pter. Jacobson hits a 3-pter and Zastoupil tips in a rebound then Radford puts in a layup. Wagner starts fouling and after Goodman misses the front end of the 1-and-1, Elwell sinks a jumper. Goodman makes the front end of the next 1-and-1 but Jacobson tips in the missed second free throw. Thompson makes two cluch free throws and ices the game for Army.

Jacobson hits a 3-pter then Jacobson and Phaler trade layups. After Jacobson sinks a 17-ft jumper from the right wing, Army is leading 7-2 with 15:00 remaining. Goodman makes 1 of 2 free throws then after Randall hits a 3-pter, Zastoupil and Woodards trade jumpers. After Zastoupil puts in a layup on a fast break, Randall drains another 3-pter to put Charlotte to within a bucket, 12-10, halfway through the first half. Koszuta and Booker trade jumpers then Booker hits a 3-pter to give the 49ers the lead. Thompson drills a 3-pter to give the Black Knights back the lead then Montgomery drops in a hook shot and Richard banks in a jumper to give Army a six point lead, 21-15, with 5:00 left. Koszuta makes two free throws then after Jacobson cans two free throws, Booker converts a 3-point play.
