Wow, awesome way to get your first homer!

FIFA, or EA FC, has garnered a huge loyal fan base throughout the years. While many purchase the game solely for the offline component, most of the player base consists of FUT players who play the game religiously. However, with FUT containing so many meticulous aspects, keeping up with it has become a full-time job.
From the extremely volatile market to the daily launched SBCs, there’s so much you need to keep track of; otherwise, you’ll become uncompetitive. This can make the game feel like a grind, rather than a playful experience. If you’re in the same boat, and your fingers are tired of scrolling through Twitter, Reddit, and FUTbin just to keep up, I’ve built something for you.
Say hello to FUTCast from Operation Sports, your one-stop shop for all things Ultimate Team. This is something that I really wished existed, so when no one else was creating it, I decided to do it myself. FUTCast is an all-in-one Ultimate resource built for the busy sports gamer. It’s something that makes sure you don’t have a million tabs open just to find the cheapest solution to the POTM SBC.
Instead, in less time than a division rivals match, it aims to deliver all the necessary information that a FUT player needs, right to their inbox. The goal is simple: I want to make EA FC Ultimate Team enjoyable again, just like it used to be. So, every Monday/Wednesday/Friday, expect a top-to-bottom recap of what’s happening in FUT, which will keep you competitive without burning your neurons.
The Newsletter will cover all bases, and here’s what you can expect to see in each issue:
Now, you might be thinking, Why should you listen to me? Well, you don’t have to. But trust me, if someone handed me the sauce to unlock my Ultimate Team potential back when I was grinding FIFA 14, I would’ve happily accepted it, because I was spending 12+ hours on that game.
The entire point of FUTCast is to do all the digging for you, so you can spend your precious time playing the game instead of wasting it on gathering information. At Operation Sports, we’ve been doing this for a long time, and our entire community is built around that trust. The best part about it is that all of this will be curated by a die-hard FC player himself, and I don’t intend to let you down at all.
If you’re like me, and you’ve been searching long for something that fulfills all your FUT needs, it’s finally here. Check out the first Wednesday FUTCast issue now to get a taste of what’s to come; I covered everything related to the TOTW 5 drop, ratings reload team 2 leaks, and how the market is gonna change.
I hope you’re going to join me on this journey!
![]() | July 15th, 2007 - For those watching, there has been a small battle between a pair of Braves rookies, Kevin Bottoms and Tony Pena Jr, all season for who should be the regular MLB backup for the infield. It looks as of now, the 21 year old Kevin Bottoms has won that role as he was called up from Richmond today and Pena was sent down. Pena won the job coming out of spring training, but every knew that Bottoms would make him stay on his toes as he had a good spring as well, Pena just had more experience, so Bottoms started the year in AAA. When Pena and Renteria hit the DL in May, Bottoms was given his chance in The Show for the first time. His results were mixed in the two months he spent in Atlanta as his teammates mended. Bottoms was the regular starter at shortstop in Atlanta while both Renteria and Pena were on the DL, but once Pena returned from the DL Bottoms's role turned to that of a pinch hitter, a role that he didn't shine in. As a starter Bottoms's kept his average in the .260's but was only managed one hit over his last month in Atlanta once Pena returned. Though that one hit as all know was the game winning grand slam to beat the Cubs in early June. Bottoms left Atlanta to go back to Richmond with a .245 batting average in the majors with 1 homerun and 7 RBI. But now the rookie is returning due to his strong play in Richmond and Pena's inconsistency, only a .200 batting average, in Atlanta. Bottoms's had been very strong in Richmond since his return, getting his batting average up around .280 and had 9 homeruns, so the Atlanta front office thought he might should get another try in the bigs. So as it is now, Kevin Bottoms will be the full-time infield relief for the Braves playing 2B, SS, and 3B when needed. But even though Bottoms has seemed to beat out Tony Pena Jr for the job, he must keep eyes on former Braves utility man Pete Orr who has been very hot in Richmond since being sent down in May when Bottoms originally was called up. We're sure Pete is ready to prove himself again in the majors. Bottoms will be in Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. |
![]() Sporting the retros | August 21st, 2007 - Just about a month and a half left in this season and I'm having a great time in Atlanta. As you guys have seen, I got recalled to Atlanta the middle of last month. Things are going really well here. I have been able to stay a lot more focused this time, I think earlier in the year I let the butterflies of being in the big leagues the first time get to me. I've had some pretty good success this past month and have gotten lots of praise from my manager and teammates, of course Chipper keeps making me drag a million bags around on all the road trips. I've had some pretty good hits lately, a homerun and some doubles and even got some stolen bases. I'm currently riding a 7 game hit streak as well. The coaches at Richmond really helped me out once I got sent back down. They told me what I was doing wrong and right and helped me work on it and got me back here. I'm not starting as much as I did when I first came up because luckily the team is really healthy right now. Early in the season Atlanta had a real rough time with injuries. I hope I can stay here for the rest of the year and get us into the playoffs. We're a few games out of the wildcard spot right now so we need to keep on a hot streak this last month and a half of the season. My MLB season stats look like this at the moment:
