I will be picking up MLB 2K8 and starting a Red Sox franchise when they patch the game, as from what I hear, there are some problems with it. Plus, I will be heading down to Florida over Easter, as my grandfather is quite sick with liver cancer, so I really won't be around to play, anyways.

I will be picking up MLB 2K8 and starting a Red Sox franchise when they patch the game, as from what I hear, there are some problems with it. Plus, I will be heading down to Florida over Easter, as he is quite sick with liver cancer, so I really won't be around to play, anyways.

I just picked up the game myself today before I went to get a tire replaced and the car aligned. Unfortunately, I need to have my left front tie rod replaced and a couple of bolts unfrozen before getting the car aligned again. Town Fair Tire said to go back after those two things are done and they would re-align the car for free. (I had already paid for the alignment so I would not be charged again when I go back.)

You didn't say who "he" was in the post, but my prayers will go out to him.

Oops, sorry about that. My grandfather has been sick over the last few months and they diagnosed him with liver cancer a week ago. He had a biopsy on Monday, but we are yet to get the results back, so I really don't know how bad the cancer is, but I guess we'll see.

I lost my mom's dad when I was only 1. I only know of him in pictures. My other two brothers never saw him. We also never saw my mom's grandparents.

I never saw my dad's dad. I think that he passed away before I was born. My brother Mike and I were able to see my dad's grandfather. He ended up passing away in either 1972 or '73. My other brother, Tony, was only an infant the last time we saw him. My dad's grandmother, however, outlasted them all. She passed away in Florida in 1993 at the age of 102.

Wow, you're great grandmother lived to be pretty old. My great grandmother lived to be 99, but she is from my grandmother's side and had some Hopi Indian in here, unlike the rest of my family (They say I am 1/8 Hopi Indian, but you couldn't tell because I just look white, except I do have very dark hair like the Hopi). My grandfather is 76. I am really not sure if it is curable or not, but liver disease usually seems to not be usually, so I guess I will have to wait and see.

Sorry about all your losses, as well. That must have been tough losing all those loved ones at such a young age and never knowing them.
