Thanks. Once you get past the graphics (which aren't a big deal to me), the game is pure baseball gaming bliss!

Well the other option I have is mlb 08 the show(ps2), which I think mvp 2005 looks better than the show(ps2), maybe it's just me but I like the way mvp looks.

I will try to keep th rosters accurate as of 2005. I will create Delmon Young and Elijah Dukes, but since Evan Longoria was not even in the minor leagues in 2005, I will not create him.

Yeah, I don't have a PS2, so I have not option for The Show, anyways, but I enjoy MVP.

                Game 1 of 162
                Series: Game 1 of 3
Matchup: Toronto Blue Jays (0-0) @ Tampa Bay Devil Rays (0-0)

                St. Petersburg, FL -
It was opening day in baseball as spring fever filled the minds of Americans across the nation. Tropicana Field had a low turnout, as usual, since the team had struggled throughout it's history, never winning more than 70 games in a single season. The Devil Rays went up 2-0 early on after a 2 RBI triple by Carl Crawford in the 3rd inning, after Blue Jays pitcher Roy Halladay walked the first 2 batters in the inning. The Rays were up 3-1 in the 7th inning before the Blue Jays scored 3 runs in the inning, knocking Rays starter Mark Henderson out of the game. Eric Hinske knocked one over the fence to score 2 and Shea Hillenbrand added another RBI. After a steal by pinch runner B.J. Upton in the bottom of the 9th inning, as the Rays were down 4-3, Rays 2nd baseman Jorge Cantu drove in Upton from 2nd to tie the game at 4. Carl Crawford grounded out sending the game to extra innings. Rudy Johnson drove in the winning run in the 10th inning for the Blue Jays, as the Rays were unable to score in the bottom of the 10th, preserving the Blue Jays victory to open the season.

St. Petersburg, FL - Despite a quick start, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays lost their second game in a row and remain winless on the season after a 8-2 pounding by the Toronto Blue Jays.
