      Season 2 Game 7: Texans @ Seahawks

      Score
      Texans-44
      Seahawks-17

      Game Leaders
      passing: (HOU)Matt Schaub 42/54 327yrds 4Tds 2Ints
      rushing: (HOU)Ron Dayne 13arr 39yrds 1Td
      receiving: (HOU)Owen Daniels 17rec 99yrds 2Td

      Game Recap:
Its not that the rushing game wasnt working its just that the passing game was working to well so i pretty much stopped rushing the ball and just let Matt Schaub take over the game...now Daniels may not have the awesome yards to go along with his eye popping reception numbers but since i stopped running the ball the short passes to owen daniels took the place of running...rookie michael crabtree continues to play like a seasoned vet catching 7 balls for 88yrds also Andre Johnson added 24yrds on 2 catches and a Td...the defense had no sack in this game but did get enough pressure on Matt Hasselback to force 3 interceptions, C.C. Brown Jacques Reeves and Demeco Ryans each had one...the Seattle Seahawks had 194 total offensive yards in this game pretty sad if you ack me Matt Hasselback didnt even hit 100yrds passing until the 4th quarter.

      Next Week: BYE

      Injuries:
Texans-Xavier Adibi-probable, Mike Mickens 3weeks left, Dunta Robinson cleared to play

        Jaguars-13

        Game Leaders
        passing: (JAX)David Garrad 29/36 279yrds
        rushing: (JAX)Fred Taylor 27att 74yrds 1Td
        receiving: (JAX)Jerry Porter 9rec 115yrds

        Game Recap
The game was dominated by both defenses...Matt Schaub only mustered 127 passing yards and 2int the only thing i had going for me was the 3 headed rushing attack, Slaton/Dayne/Benson combined for 22att 114yrds and 2Tds with slaton getting most fo the yards(slaton-13att 54yrds 2Td) Benson prolly had the biggest run of the season we were up 17-13 with 5mins left to play and we were on our own 5 yard line facing 3rd and 10, this series coming after my defense stopped the Jaguars on a big 4th and goal, Benson took the ball and rushed 37yrds down field and stayed in bounds to give me a new set of downs and kept the clock running...Mario Williams, Amobi Okoye, and Anthony Weaver each added a sack...Dunta Robinson had 9 tackles in his return to the starting lineup.

        Next Game: Texans(5-3) @ Raiders(4-4)

        Injuries:
        Texans-cb Mike Mickens-1 week left
        Raiders-hb Darren McFadden-strained back-8weeks left, Wr Derrick Williams-partially torn ACL-out for season

*Wr-Derrick Williams was the Raiders 1st round draft pick in this past draft

sorry its been awhile but im back and ready to try and lead my Texans to Superbowl Champs

            Season 2 Game 9: Texans @ Raiders

            Score
            Texans-41
            Raiders-16

            Game Leaders
            Passing: (HOU)Matt Schaub 31/39 272yrds 3Td 1Int
            rushing: (HOU)Cedric Benson 11att 79yrds 1Td
            receiving: (HOU)Andre Johnson 7rec 105yrds 1Td

            Game Recap
There was really no point for the raiders to show up the Texans were winning 24-3 at halftime...Matt Schaub reems to have had a eye opening experience ever since i benched him against the Colts in the season opener cause he has been playing lights out all season, he leads the league in touchdown passes...Cenrid Benson and Ron Dayne arent the ideal starting tandem i want at running back but it is gonna have to be cause Steve Slaton got injured against the Oakland Raiders and is out for the rest of the season with a broken elbow...Mario Williams added his 6th and 7th sack of the season Travis Johnson, Amobi Okoye, Fred Bennett all added a sack too...C.C. Brown and Will Demps intercepted JaMarcus Russel once each...rookie Tightend Travis Beckum also added his first career touchdown reception in this game...

            Next Game: Colts(7-2) @ Texans(6-3)

Injuries: Texans-Steve Slaton broken elbow out for season, Mike Mickens torn shoulder doubtful

              receiving: (HOU)Andre Johnson 6rec 149yrds 1Td

              Game Recap
WOO HOO The Texans beat the Colts for the first time during my tenure...Rookie Michael Crabtree continues to grow into an absolute stud across from Andre Johnson, Crabtree finished this game with 5rec for 73yrds and 2Tds...When Steve Slaton went down last game i decided to give the job to Cedric Benson and have Ron Dayne be the short yardage/3rd down back and it paid off in this game Benson was incredible...the defensive line is having a "welcome back to earth" season after last years defensive line ran wild over everybody getting sack after sack after sack the Texans came away from this game without any sacks...safety Will Demps added the only pick from Peyton Manning...despite the defense not getting any sacks they are still playing very good dont get my wrong, they have allowed the fewest point in the NFL and that is what matters the most...

              Next Game: Bills(3-7) @ Texans(7-3)
Injuries: Steve Slaton-out for season, Mike Mickens-questionable

                receiving: (HOU)Andre Johnson 9rec 77yrds

                Game Recap
This was a very close game coming down to the final few ticks on the clock, the Bills kicker won the game for them leaving only 10seconds left on the clock not enough time for the Texans to do anything...rookie quarterback Todd Boeckman played pretty good for the Buffalo Bills(Veockman-14/21 161yrds 1Td)..The thing that won the game for the Bills besides the kicker(duh!) was the fact that the Texans defense couldnt get off the field with Mar5shanw Lynch running the ball so effectively...Michaekl Crabtree,Chris Henry, and fullback Vonta Leach had the 3 touchdown receptions from Matt Schaub...my running game vanished once again Dayne and Benson combined for 24att 56yrds...Anthony Weaver and Travis Johnson each had a sack.

                Next Game: Steelers(8-3) @ Texans(7-4)
Injuries: Texans-Steve Slaton: out for season, Mike Mickens: questionable; Steelers-none

                  receiving: (HOU)Andre Johnson 2rec 109yrds 1Td

                  Game Recap:
it was a close game until willie parker broke a long run late in the 4th quarter to give them the lead and the texans offense could do much after that...Ron Dayne and Cedric Benson were very effective (Benson 15att 67yrds)(dayne 9att 98yrds 1td) my running game isnt suffering too much with Slaton out i think it has helped a bit cause i dont have a revolving door at running back i have a starter and a back up now...Matt Schaub was ok but not great i need him to be great against the steelers and the awesome defense(schaub 13/19 207yrds 1Td)...Amobi Okoye was the only texans defensive player to record a sack

                  Next Game: Texans(7-5) @ Dolphins(5-7)
