The comeback to Ottawa was worst than I thought, as soon as I came off the plane, I had to sign over 12 autographs, it may seem a low amount but I just started actually becoming a player who got to sign autographs. It was the first day of school so soon that I barely had time to get my stuff ready. I walked into the school and was rushed by the school’s hockey coach. “Please Jason, this school needs a superstar like you on our team” he begged. “I’m sorry coach, but I’ll rarely be here during the year since of the AHL” I said in a sorry voice “its okay, we’ll have you in spirit, and if you ever need conditioning for games, we’re here for you” he said in a proud voice. I nodded and walked to my first class. By lunch time, I already had 14 girls wanting to date me. It was weird, but one girl beat all 14 of them. My actual girlfriend, Danielle, was a fierce person to competition yet a loving young woman to me and her friends.

I think that it is great that you have incorporated the other BAPs in yours. That is a nice touch and sort of ties in all of them. I did that one time a couple of years ago when I did a wrestling journal over at greydogsoftware.com.
Too bad that the game doesn't have a draft where you just go in and the team drafts you rather than you choosing what team to go.If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this in english, thank a soldier.Comment

Re: The Official Jason Skyland BAP Thread
Danielle is the type of girl who just loves to party, and some parties get my brother, not me into lots and lots of trouble. It was the middle of the evening as I was walking towards Canadian Tire to see they’re hockey sticks. I got a ring on my cell phone and it was Danielle. “Hello” I said into the cell. “Party at my house, you in” she responded. “I don’t know if I should, they get me in trouble if I get home late nowadays” I said in a sorry voice just like when I talked to coach yesterday. “But Nick is here and everything, he’s not going to get in trouble” she said, trying to tempt me to going. It was a really sad attempt but I caved. Who knows, maybe if Nick’s there, I won’t get in as much trouble. I double paced to her house, might as well get sup running out of it. There were about twenty people there when I got there, about half of them drunk, and the other half about to be drunk. I found my buddy Derek, who played for the Jags (our school team name) last year. He got skipped over and was pretty bummed about it. His thought of getting over the devastation, getting drunk. I found Nick who was sitting in a corner in the beetle position. “What’s wrong dude?” I asked in a slightly worried voice. “Too many drunken guys and girls here, this is not normal” he said in a quivering voice. “Well I’ll go find Dan-, where is she anyway?” I asked. “Last I saw her with Derek” he said standing up, ready to help we find those two. I walked around the crowd of people but couldn’t find anything. That left just one place left, upstairs. I took a deep breath, took one last look at Nick, and started walking upstairs. I looked into her bathroom and bedroom first, and found nothing. They didn’t have many rooms upstairs. The only place that was left was her parents’ bedroom. I slowly crept up to the door. I gulped and slowly turned the knob to open the door. As I peeked through, I saw both Derek and Danielle in a very disgusting pose, both not wearing any clothes. “It’s over Danielle” I said calmly and raced out of the room. Nick ran to keep up with me and Danielle ran out of the house with a robe on. She said many things but I just walked away. Nick and I walked slowly to my house and the only words during it was “Are you okay” asked Nick. I couldn’t respond because I didn’t know what to say.Regrets Aren't Something You Did, It's Something You Didn't Do

Re: The Official Jason Skyland BAP Thread
Time flyed by and I waited and waited for a call from Ray Shero or Bill Crossley about my contract. As I walked down the street towards SportsChek, I got a call from Rbk about me sponsoring them by wearing their equipment and being in commercials by them. Of course I said yes. I was planning on wearing their equipment anyways and now I’m getting paid for it. The next call I got was when I was about 3 quarters away from the store was by Nick to say he had just signed his contract with the Los Angeles Kings for his entry contract of 3 years. I walked into the store to look around at equipment. I ended up not buying anything there and walked the block to get me a vanilla ice cream cone. That always melts my nerves. As I was planning on going to see a movie, I got a call from Bill saying that they are super close to signing me. This got me pumped and I really enjoyed the movie “Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix” even though I had already seen dozens of times.Regrets Aren't Something You Did, It's Something You Didn't Do

Re: The Official Jason Skyland BAP Thread
Nick had asked me why I hadn’t buyed a cool car yet. “It’s a lot better than walking everywhere” he said while taking the peanut butter out. “Well I don’t have any money yet, now do I” I responded with a smart voice. “You mean they still haven’t signed you yet” he said in awe. “Nope and even if they have, I wouldn’t get paid yet” I responded. “Well that really sucks” he said with a bummed out voice. “Well at least you get to be conditioned more in high school, I’m done high school sports since I’ll be gone for a while” I responded while taking out bread. “Well I plan on being the best football player there is so..” he said with a very confident voice. “Well I only had about 4 weeks until the season starts, and I want to tell you it’s all up to you Nick, make the Skyland name proud “I said patting his shoulder while I walked away. You could see that he was up to the challenge. That’s the Nick we know is on the inside.Regrets Aren't Something You Did, It's Something You Didn't Do

Re: The Official Jason Skyland BAP Thread
“NO WAY, THEY DID, SWEET I’LL CALL RIGHT NOW” I yelled over my home phone. That was my agent saying I had just been signed. I was so happy now that ran outside, started running down the street yelling “I JUST GOT DRAFTED” repeating it over and over again. I was now set and ready for the next season. I went into the basement to go play my NHL 08. In my basement was a very comfy looking room with one normal couch, little bean bag kind of chairs, a large HD TV, my 360 there on the ground, and many, many games. Next to all of my things were all my medals, pucks, and jerseys. Including my London Knights draft jersey and normal jersey. Pucks like my first goal, 50th, and of course my record breaking 88th goal. I went on to get 96 goals, one of the reasons I wear #96. My memorable moment was when I joined Team Canada in the World Juniors as I scored the game winner. It was a fantastic moment. I just really hope I can get some memorable moments in the NHL. That reminds me I should call Ray Shero to tell him thank you for signing me.Regrets Aren't Something You Did, It's Something You Didn't Do

Re: The Official Jason Skyland BAP Thread
Well time ticked down, and I was deep into practise, I could do things I couldn’t do last year, including skate as fast as Pavel Bure, take a slap shot as hard as Bobby Hull, have a back hand like Wayne Gretzky, and do things no one could believe like Sidney Crosby. I may have been a little unrealistic when I thought that, but by that I meant I was better. I decided to make a deal with my high school hockey coach, until the NHL season starts, I play with them. Let’s just say I might just be too good for my own good. In my first game I scored 14 times as we won 15-0. It seemed my defensive skills did the trick. The next game, we were to play last year’s last place team, the Rockets. It looked as they had gotten some good players since some people had graduated from that school, but it was the same result. We won the game, this time 18-3. They proved that they had improved and were ready for a wonderful year. But things started to look bad when we played the Pirates, they were a dirty team, and were looking to take me out for the whole season. Not something I was about to let happen, three of their top hitters came right at me, and I deked all of them out, even their goalie came at me Hasek Style, he caught me off guard. This amazed even myself as I slapped the puck in the air, toppled over him, did a barrel roll, jumped up and took the puck scoring a superman goal as I didn’t notice that a defensemen came diving, trying to take me down. When I was leaving, one of the grandparents of the player who took me down said in a quiet voice “I can’t wait to see you in a Penguins jersey, knock em dead kid”Regrets Aren't Something You Did, It's Something You Didn't Do

Re: The Official Jason Skyland BAP Thread
Top 10 Rookies for 2008/2009
>>
Number 10: Center Colin Wilson of the Nashville Predators is here to kick off our ranking. He was ranked number 10 for the NHL central scouting for North American Skaters. With the leasing of forward Alex Radulov to the KHL, the Predators will need some offensive talent.
Number 9: Winger Jeff Shannon of the Vancouver Canucks is next on the list. The Canucks took a pounding with the departures of Markus Naslund, Trevor Linden and Brenden Morisson, the Canucks really needed offence. And during the Draft, the Canucks got that in center Cody Hodsgon and left-winger Jeff Shannon. These two will really have to step up if the Sedin twins are not re-signed.
Number 8: Defensemen Drew Doughty of the Los Angeles Kings really needs to fill the defensive void that was left when former Captain Rob Blake and Lubomir Visnovky left the team. Drew will need to be on his best if the Kings don’t want to end up in dead last in the Western Confrence again.
Number 7: Nikita Filatov is the first European on the list so far. He’ll have to put his skills where his mouth is if he wants a real shot at the Blue Jackets re-vamped roster. With the adding of players such as Raffi Torres, Kristian Huselius and Mike Commodore. He’ll have to play with all his power.
Number 6: Bryan Hurst of the Chicago Blackhawks gets his unlikely 6th place, he’s tough, underrated, and he’s just what the Blackhawks need during this re-building stage for this NHL team.
Number 5: Steven Stamkos, the second ranked North American behind Jason Skyland, is ranked Number 5, the Lightning needed him, but now, it looks like this team will be rivals with the Red Wings for the Cup in 2009.
Number 4: The famous 4th brother is 4th on our list; Jared Staal became a Phoenix Coyote, under Wayne Gretzky, the Great One. Jared has a lot to live up to, with the great over shadowing of his brothers Eric, Jordan and Marc.
Number 3: Nick Barry, the hardest hitting rookie or maybe even player in the NHL. “I still remember the day he hit me so hard that I hit the 3rd row, it was crazy how hard that guy hits” said friend and fellow rookie Jason Skyland. He’s a force to be reckoned with in his future career.
Number 2: Ivan Shertok, the first overall pick to the New Jersey Devils, has so much speed, many connect him to fellow Russians Alex Ovechkin and Pavel Bure. He’s a pure goal scorer like the two famous NHL superstars.
Number 1: Jason Skyland has so much skill, he’s already a “next one” status. He broke records in the OHL, Junior Champs and is ready to break them in the NHL also. Watch out for this kid, he’s ready to show what the Devils did wrong.Regrets Aren't Something You Did, It's Something You Didn't Do
