The Heat win 117-98, and the Raps drop their 8th straight game. This is the only team this season to win 8 straight and lose 8 straight.

These two teams know each other well in the front office, just like TOR and HOU. Philly striked a last minute trade, right before the deadline that sent Aaron McKie for Lindsey Hunter.

The last time these two teams played, AI broke his arm.

Now recovered, AI comes into this game leading the league in scoring (30ppg). Vince Carter will play this game with a Minor Sprained Ankle.

This was a re-play of a game from "Toronto v Philly, 2001 Playoffs". Iverson and Carter put on a show for the Canadian Crowd.

Toronto had control of the game to begin with. They had a lot of success dumping the ball down to Jelani McCoy, who started out the game scoring the Raps first 12 points, all on hook-shots in the post. Iverson came onto the scene, and nobody could guard him. Moochie was nursing a High Ankle Sprain, although he did play.

What that means, was that all Philly super-sub, Aaron McKie, would make an ATTEMPT to guard former teammate, Allen Iverson. Aaron McKie absolutely got his head busted. Allen Iverson finished the game with 49 points and 7 assist.

Iverson didn't get any help, however. Toronto's balanced scoring outmatched Philly's one man show in this game, and Toronto wins 101-89. With this win, Toronto puts a hault on their losing streak, stopping it at 8 games.

      Toronto STATS
      Vince Carter - 19 points, 5 assist
      Moochie Norris - 13 points, 6 assist
      Raja Bell - 17 points
      Jelani McCoy - 18 points, 8 rebounds

      Philly STATS
      Allen Iverson - 49 points, 5 assist
      Todd MacCulluch - 12 rebounds
      Eric Snow - 11 points, 4 steals, 7 assist
      Tony Delk - 8 points, 4 steals

          Knicks get Raped in NY

          @

The Raptors just halted their 8-game losing streak by beating the spiraling Sixers. Tonight they would meet the New York Knicks, who gave Toronto problems earlier in this season. In the last game, Houston wouldn't miss, nobody could shake Spree, and McDyess hogged the boards.

It was a different story for Vince and his Raptors against the NY Knicks. The Raptors found themselves up 50-40 at the end of the first half, due to the exceptional play of Eddie Griffin and the Raptors scoring attack.

Things didn't change much for the second half. Vince Carter threw down a couple of dunks that got him booed. Eddie Griffin was the deciding factor in this game, with 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assist, along with 5 blocks.

Houston nor Spree got it going this game, and totally let down the hardcore Knick Fans.

          Raptors win - 100-85.

          Latrell Sprewell - 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2/17 fg's
          Allan Houston - 16 points, 8 TO's
          Antonio McDyess - 18 points, 8 rebounds

          Vince Carter - 19 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assist
          Moochie Norris - 11 points, 6 assist
Aaron McKie - 18 points (Season High), 4 rebounds, 4 assist
          Eddie Griffin - 15 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assist, 5 blocks

Nice to see that you're out of this slump. Keep winning and there will be no problem getting in the playoffs.

Record is broken and highs are set...

                  @

Tonight the Raptors would face the Cleveland Cavs. Before the game, Lenny Wilkens changed up his lineup to guard the taller point guard of Cleveland, Scottie Pippen (via trade from Portland for Jumaine Jones)

Aaron McKie would start and Raja Bell would sit.

From the start, the Raptors absolutely killed the Cavs. In the first 5 minutes, the Full-Court Press of the Raptors took effect, and the Raptors were up 37-17 at the end of the first quarter.

The Cavs never stood a chance against the Raptors. Everybody from Toronto contributed, and they had fun while doing it. In the process, the Raptors broke a franchise record, season record, as well as an All-Time NBA Record . The Raptors recorded 33 steals as a team. The record was currently held by the Seattle SuperSonics, who marked their tally of 27 steals on 1/15/97. Also the Raptors scored a season high 126 points.

The Raptors win with the fans and announcers YAWNING, 126-96.

                  Vince Carter - 36 points, 4 blocks, 4 steals
                  Moochie Norris - 22 points, 9 assist, 7 steals
                  Walt Williams - 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assist, 6 steals

                  Darius Miles - 11 points, 5 TO's
                  Ricky Davis - 20 points, 11 TO's, 5 assist
                  Dajuan Wagner - 6 points, 3-19 fg's.

Good game.. How the hell did you get that many steals!? lol..
