    Ravens: Madden 2004

    All-Pro
    Adjusted Sliders (will constantly tweak)
13 min quarters w/ acc. clock

Hell, let's see how this goes. I'll play every game, and adjust sliders accordingly. I've played around 10 games and found that these gave me pretty good average numbers after 10 games. Although some games I dominate one particular stat (ie: give up only 20 yards rushing one game, but another the opponent will thrash me for 150), but overall my stats after 10 games are decent.

Also, instead of writing a faux newspaper story, I'm just going to give a 'report card' for each position after each game... you'll see how the format is after my first game against the Steelers.

***Oh, and this is the PC version.

I think the only way to make a "table"-type thing is use the "CODE" tags. I just found this out recently. Do the tags and in between them just space it however you want, for instance:
                Code:

                TEAM RECORD
                San Francisco 10-6
                Baltimore 9-7
                etc. 16-0

                      Game 1 at Steelers: W 34-11

                      Passing: A+
"The Chosen One" as the Baltimore fans have started to call Mr. Boller, he was excellent in his first regular season game against the Steelmen. Coach Billick's decision to name Boller the #1 QB was met with some controversy, but in the end, it seemed to be the right choice as he picked off the Steelers secondary with poise and accuracy. His line (25/41, 216yds, 1td, 0int) by itself might not warrant an A+ rating, but since it IS his first ever game, I'll look past it for now. Baltimore fans should jump on the bandwagon now if they're not already on.

                      Rushing: A
As expected, Jamal Lewis (29att/98yds 1td) had the majority of the team's carries for the day. Although he failed to crack the 100 yard mark, he was able to gain enough yardage on several key third downs to keep the Ravens offense on the field.

                      Receiving: A
On a day where Boller completed 25 attempts, Todd Heap (69yds, 1td) and Jamal Lewis (50 yds) were the main targets with 7 catches each. Since the main focus of this offense is ball control and time of posession, no one is expected to put up mind-numbing receiving numbers this year. The team's focus is on timely catches and no turnovers/dropped passes and in that respect, the receiving corp did an outstanding job today.

                      O-Line: D
The main problem with the offense today was the inability of the O-line to keep Boller protected, and since that's the main duty of the O-line they get a big fat D. They allowed 7 of the 8 sacks on Boller (all the more reason to give Boller an A+) and saw their protection break down time and time again. They need to step it up, or Boller won't have a long career.

                      D-Line: A+
When you're D-line allows only 16 yards rushing on 14 attempts to Jerome Bettis, you get an A+. Throw in the 4 sacks (3 by A. Weaver), constantly pressure the QB to make bad passes (Maddox: 19/49 240yds), you get an A+.

                      Linebackers: n/a
Couldn't really get an accurate read on the linebacking corp for this game. Ray Lewis (1 int) and rookie Terrell Suggs (1 sack) each had 5 tackles, but it seemed like the D-line was stopping the run, and the passes were going out to the D-backs.

                      D-backs: C+
Overall, did a decent job limiting Maddox to only 19 completions in 49 attempts (although that was more of a D-line pressuring Maddox more so than the D-backs knocking the balls down). However, they were constantly burned deep, and often had lapses in concentration when facing 3rd and long.

                      Special Teams: B
Stover went 2/3 on field goal attempts and Zastudil had 6 punts that averaged 37.1 yards (no return yards against). Neither side had any exciting kick or punt returns.

Hmm, I have both CPU run ability on 53 and run blocking on 53... but to allow only 16 yards to Bettis? Well, I'm going to wait until after week 3 cuz I face LaDamion and he's always burned me for big yardage. I think I'll up the QB accuracy from 45 to 50 to see if that helps with pass completion %.

***can you give me detailed instructions on the table format thing?
