Passing: B+
Boller had a fine day finishing with 260 yards on 26 of 33 passing for 3 TD's and 2 int's. Besides those two int's which didn't lead to any points, Boller picked apart the Jaguars secondary all day, with several crucial 3rd and long completions.

Rushing: B+
Lewis finished the day with 106 yards on 34 carries and 1 TD. Not outstanding numbers but his numbers provided a huge difference in time of possession advantage for the Ravens (30:51 vs 21:09). Once again, he didn't fumble the ball, so that's always a good thing.

Receiving: A
Marcus Robinson had 6 catches for 64 yards and 2 TD's, but it was the Todd Heap show as he had 10 catches for 121 yards; 4 of those coming on the 3rd and long situations. Travis Taylor had the other TD reception.

O-Line: A-
Only allowed 1 sack to Boller (a huge moral victory) and opened up just enough running lane for Lewis. Provided Boller with plenty of time passing the ball. Orlando Brown led the way with 13 pancakes.

D-Line: A-
Provided solid defense up front, bouncing back from the disasterous performance against the Broncos to allow Fred Taylor only 73 yards on 22 carries.

Linebackers: A-
The linbackers totaled 16 tackles with 3 going for losses. A solid performance by the defense that did not have to be on the field that often for this game.

D-backs: A-
Did allow Brunell to pass for a TD, but for the most part disrupted the receiever's route and did not allow Brunell to find many open receivers. Knocked down 8 passes as a group.

Special Teams: A-
Chris McAlister is quickly becoming a return man to be feared in the NFL. He returned yet another kickoff 98 yards for a TD and had a fine day returning punts (3 for 43 yards) giving the Ravens great field position. The only blemish on the ST unit was that Stover missed an easy 39 yarder at the end of the 2nd quarter.

Boller had a pretty rough time of it finding anyone open in the secondary as he finished 9/16 for 130 yards, 0 TD's and 1 int. But today, all he really needed to do was hand off to Jamal Lewis because...

Rushing: A+
Lewis ran buck wild on the Rams defense racking up an incredible 275 yards on 50 carries! Yes, that is 50/275. He was only 3 yards short of setting the record for most rushing yards in a game. Oh, and he also scored 3 TD's. You knew that this would be a good day for Lewis as on the first play from scrimmage, he rumbled 70 yards for a TD, and it was the Jamal Lewis show from then on. Too bad it couldn't be a matchup of the top two rushers in the league as Marshall Faulk was injured for this game.

Receiving: n/a
Whatever, Lewis did all the work today.

O-Line: A+
Opened up huge holes for Lewis to run through. Lewis owes this group a few steak dinners.

D-Line: A
Was hardly on the field (34:39 Ravens, 17:21 Rams), but when they were on, they dominated the Rams running game limiting the Faulk-less Rams a measly 7 yards on 12 carries.

Linebackers: A
Linebackers played well, when they were on the field, registering 15 tackles, 3 for losses, with 2 sacks.

D-backs: A
Without Faulk, the Rams focused their entire offense in the passing game. But on the first drive for the Rams, Kurt Warner was hurt and would not return for the game! So it was up to Mark Bulger to run this offense. Even though Bulger did a fine job against the Ravens D throwing for 247 yards and 2 TD's, even that was too little, too late for the Rams to make any sort of a comeback.

Special Teams: A
Stover went 3/4 on field goal attempts, and Zastudil had 2 punts both within the 20 yard line. No McAlister return for a TD this week.

In one of the ugliest games of the year, both teams combined for 11 turnovers (4 Ravens, 7 Dolphins). Each Dolphin turnover (4 fumbles, 3 interceptions) led to Ravens points while none of the 4 Ravens turnovers (2 fumbles, 2 picks) led to any Dolphin points which was the major difference in the game. Surprisingly, none of the fumbles were by Jamal Lewis (28 att, 74 yards, 1 td).

In basically a repeat from last week's game against the Seahawks, the Ravens quickly jumped out to a big early lead, only to lose it in the 4th quarter. It was actually ridiculous. Jeff Garcia was out of the game due to injury, and his replacement Tim Rattay was a dismal 17 of 40 for 116 yards. On the last play of the 4th quarter, Terell Owens runs a simple 10 yard out pattern only to bust it for 93 yards and the tying TD!!!! (freakin' comeback code

) It shouldn't have even come down to this last play, but the Ravens recievers dropped 9 passes during the game... and you guessed it, all 9 dropped passes came in the 4th quarter and Boller was picked off twice in the 4th quarter to complete the "kick a team while they're down" comeback. Luckly, I won the coin toss in OT and drove 70 yards to win it on a Matt Stover 29 yard field goal. If it weren't for a McAlister 95 yard kick off return and a Gary Baxter 43 yard interception return for TD's, I would have lost this game.

In basically a repeat from last week's game against the Seahawks, the Ravens quickly jumped out to a big early lead, only to lose it in the 4th quarter. It was actually ridiculous. Jeff Garcia was out of the game due to injury, and his replacement Tim Rattay was a dismal 17 of 40 for 116 yards.
