Wildcard game at Jaguars: W 30-0
      Code:

      Team Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 OT FINAL
      Ravens 7 10 7 6 0 30
      Jaguars 0 0 0 0 0 0

      Forecast: Fair
      Wind: 1 mph
      Temp: 49 degrees
      1st Quarter
After missing the playoffs last year, the Ravens were obviously excited to show everyone that last year was the fluke. Winning the coin toss and choosing to kick first, the Ravens decided to give the ball to the Jags to start the game. On this first drive, the Jags QB, Mark Brunell, made the first mistake of the game by throwing a pick to Peter Boulware and was returned 31 yards to the 16 yard line. A 16 yard pass to Todd Heap, and the Ravens were up 7-0 in less than 2 minutes. About halfway through the first quarter, Jamal Lewis took a handoff and ran straight to the pile of bodies in the middle... and a fumble! Lewis loses his 11th fumble of the year, and the Jags have it on their own 35. Fortunately, the defense comes through and Jags kicker Danny Boyd missed a 46 yard attempt.
      2nd Quarter
The 2nd quarter showed several drives to reach midfield by both teams, only to see them stall there. One the Ravens 3rd possession, they were able to muster enough offense to get within field goal range, and Matt Stover knocked it in from 37 yards out (10-0). After another 3 and out by the Jags, the Ravens marched down 64 yards in 8 plays with Todd Heap hauling in another TD pass, this time from 7 yards out (17-0). Before the half would end, Boller would be picked off by Eric Westmoreland, but the Jags quickly went 3 and out, and the shutout was preserved.
      3rd Quarter
The Ravens scored on their first possession of the quarter on a nice 9 play 60 yard drive with Harold Morrow bowling it in from a yard out (24-0). After that, both teams again could not sustain any drives that would net them any points. The Jags kicker Danny Boyd would again miss another field goal this quarter.
      4th Quarter
The Ravens again on their first possession, had a long 13 play 61 yard drive that took 6:40 off the clock that netted them a 32 yard field goal by Matt Stover early in the 4th quarter. The Ravens defense stifled the Jags all day long, as they would only gain 30 yards on the ground. What was different about this day was that the secondary would also play up to their potential, allowing Brunell only 14 for 30 passing for only 136 yards. The final score of the game would come on a Ravens 11 play, 49 yard drive ending with a 28 yard field goal by Matt Stover (30-0). The Ravens first shutout could not have come at a better time as they'll need this momentum heading into Heinz Field to face the Steelers in the rubber match of this season with both teams winning a game on the opponent's home field.

          Re: Ravens: Madden 2004

                        Jets 13 - Patriots 27
Tom Brady goes 24/40 for 228 yards and 3 TDs and Antowain Smith backs him up with 108 yards rushing on 27 carries as the Patriots ends the Jets season with a 27-13 win at Foxboro Stadium.
                        Packers 24 - Rams 17
Brett Favre had 259 passing yards and 2 TD passes to lead the visiting Pack over the Rams 24-17. Running back Najeh Davenport led the ground attack with 83 yards on 20 carries and a TD.
                        Saints 19 - Eagles 21
On a day that Donovan McNabb threw 2 picks and the team scored no offensive touchdowns, it was the special teams to the rescue as Freddie Milons and Brian Westbrook each took kickoffs back for touchdowns. Saints kicker John Carney knocked downs 4 field goals, but it wasn't enough as the Eagles move onto the next round with a 21-19 win.
