Yankees at Royals Game 3 (Yankees lead 2-0)
    May vs. Vazquez

Vazquez was hit hard early in this one giving up 4 runs in the 2nd. In the 4th Arod cut the deficet in half with a 2 run homer. Juan Gonzalez would answer in the bottom of the inning with a solo shot that was just high enough to clear the left center field fence to make it 5-2. In the 8th, Bernie Williams hit a solo shot to cut the lead to 5-3. A few batters later, with 2 outs Giambi had an RBI bloop single making it 5-4. With runners on 1st and 2nd Matsui lined a base hit into right field. Sojo waved Arod home, but the potential tying run was gunned down by Juan Gonzalez. That would be the Yankees last chance, as they went down 1-2-3 in the 9th and the Royals stayed alive.

    W May (1-0)
    L Vazquez (0-1)
S Whoever the Royals closer is (1)

New York leads Kansas City 2-1
    Boston defeats Seattle 3-0
    St. Louis leads Atlanta 2-1
    Houston leads Arizona 2-1

Yankees at Royals Game 4 (Yankees lead 2-1)
            Appier vs. Contreras

In another must win game for the Royals, they did not bring their A game. The Yankees pounded out 19 hits, with the big blow an Alex Rodriguez grand slam, his 3rd homer of the series. That coupled by several defensive miscues for the home team led to an 8-3 Yankees win.

            W Jose Contreras (1-0)
            L Kevin Appier (0-1)

New York beats Kansas City 3-1
            Boston Beats Seattle 3-0
            St. Louis beats Atlanta 3-2
            Houston beats Arizona 3-1

            ALCS Matchups
            Yankees vs. Red Sox
            Cardinals vs. Astros

W00T! Yankees vs. Red Sox round 2.

Yanks- Red Sox sounds like a great one. Maybe this time Wakefield can keep the ball in the park.

I'm torn, I'd love to see the yankees lose in 4, but these are some good recaps, so I'd also like to see the world series one. Ah, maybe just lose in 7 to the Red Sox
