    Maxiell Drafted by Denver
    Sunday June 19th, 2005
    The Cincinnati Enquirer

With the 53rd overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft the Denver Nuggets selected Jason Maxiell. He went late in the second round, but was projecetd to go sooner. Maxiell is a beast, a quiet beast. He can score, defend and rebound, but will take a little time to develop to be an elite in the NBA. At only 6 foot 7 Maxiell led the Bearcats in rebounding and blocks and helped take them to the NCAA Championship. He should make the starting squad, but with all the good forwards Denver has, he may serve as a reserve.

    Williams Joins Florida Flame
    Monday June 27th, 2005
    The Cincinnati Enquirer

Nick Williams, who led the NCAA in three pointers made and steals per game, joined the Florida Flame of the NBDL today. After not being drafted by an NBA team, Williams decided to not give up on his basketball career. Williams is hoping to shine in the NBDL and maybe be called up by an NBA squad sometime in the next couple seasons. "I am just happy Florida is giving me a shot." Williams said when asked about the signing. Nick Williams had four games with over 40 points in Cincinnati's 2004-05 season, in which they made it all the way to the NCAA Championship.

        Re: Cincinnati Bearcats Legacy (CH2K5)

Well that wraps up Season One of my Bearcats legacy, I havent decided if I will continue this one, since there is no way for me to put them into the Big East without starting over. Anyways, I will be starting a St. Joe's Hawks legacy later on today, it will be a little more of a challenge.

Thanks to all 1,182 (and counting) people who gave my legacy a read.
