      Hearnes Center - Columbia, Missouri

The Missouri Tigers got their second test of the season at the Hearnes Center, as the Arkansas Razorbacks came to town with visions of a victory.

The 'Hogs started off very well, and the Mizzou staff and players started getting worried. Jonathan Modica, playing small forward for Arkansas, completely whooped up on any defender designated to him. Linas Kleiza was the Tigers' answer on the offensive end, but Mizzou somehow held a three point lead at the half.

In the second half of action, Modica was up to the same old tricks, but so was Kleiza. The two battled back and forth for several minutes before anybody else even touched the ball. The Mizzou guards were, besides freshman Jason Horton, pretty ineffective against the Razorbacks. However, after a late game run, the Tigers pulled it out, 75-66.

      Players Of The Game
      MIZZ - Linas Kleiza - 32 points, 15 rebounds, 3 steals
      ARK - Jonathan Modica - 29 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists

      MIZZOU STATS
      Horton - 11 points, 3-5 3PT FG, 16 assists
      McKinney - 11 points
      Conley - 10 points

      ARKANSAS STATS
      Brewer - 14 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds
      Jefferson - 4 points, 12 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 steals
      Thomas - 8 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals

Mizzou isn't exactly what I like to call a good team, as Kleiza is my best player.. and he's rated 80 overall.

I figured the Big XII would be really tough to compete in, and the young players would develop.

                  Hearnes Center - Columbia, Missouri

The Montana Grizzlies came to town to take on the Missouri Tigers in a matchup that saw the Grizzlies as huge underdogs.

Early on, Montana surprised both the Mizzou team and their fans. The Grizzles shot the ball exceptionally well to start the ballgame, and the Tigers did the exact opposite. At one point, Montana led by a comfortable eight points. However, the Tigers eventually came back, and went into halftime with the score knotted.

The second half saw the Mizzou Tigers pull away, as the shooters shot a little better on their side of the ball. Linas Kleiza did his job downlow despite getting into foul trouble, and Jason Horton took over on the outside, hitting 5 three-pointers. Montana attempted one last comeback, but Mizzou held on to win 73-63.
