Often seen as inferior to it's football counterpart, the basketball rivalry of Alabama and Auburn is still a huge one to the SEC faithful.

To begin the game, Toney Douglas must've wanted to experiment. For the first three minutes or so, the only shots he took were three-pointers, and he drained several of them. After Alabama stars Kennedy Winston and Ernest Shelton got into foul trouble, the Tigers kept running up the score, and had a more than comfortable lead on the Tide. AT THE HALF, Douglas had 31 points on 9-18 three-point shooting, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.

In the second half, Auburn rested most of their starters for another day. However, Douglas stayed in for one reason; to record his third triple double of the season. It only took him a few minutes to do so, and the Auburn star led his team to a huge victory, 102-65.

    Players Of The Game
AUB - Toney Douglas - 33 points, 9-18 3PT FG, 10 rebounds, 10 assists (Third collegiate triple double)
    ALA - Jermare Davidson - 15 points, 8 rebounds

    AUBURN STATS
    Troy Gaines - 15 points, 2-2 3PT FG, 5 assists, 3 rebounds
    Ian Young - 10 points
    Brett Howell - 9 points, 2-3 3PT FG

*Daniel Hayles and Frank Tolbert were only Auburn players without a point

    ALABAMA STATS
    Ronald Steele - 14 points, 4 assists
    Ernest Shelton - 14 points, 7 assists
    Kennedy Winston - 13 points, 5 rebounds

Nice job Kredit keep it up. I can smell a possible SEC West title that is unless you let Psyblast give your team a pregame speech.
