It's not you man, our O-LINE is TERRIBLE. That's why i'm recruting them heavily. As you can see they gave up 5 SACKS. I split the formations with you and hurst, you're just not getting the blocking. Sorry man.

      First Quarter

This was back and forth. Lowry came out and he was extremely nervous for his first home game as he was badly overthrowing his recievers. HB's Hurst and Thomas did get us a few first downs though. Defensive quarter.

      0-0

(Tony Waters laying the lumber on Virginia's RB)

      Second Quarter

Lowry eventually leads a nice drive to get us in the redzone and RB Kerry Hurst catches a TD pass on a swing, after JT fails to get the bail into the endzone himself.

      7-0 TROJANS!

(FB Hurd doing some decent blocking on the scoring drive)

      Third Quarter

Virgina goes superman mode, they literally run the ball down our throats here and we couldn't get a stop on two fourth downs. They get a running TD for their first of the day and it's 7-7. Towards the end of the quarter we get somethings going including a nice first down catch by Crenshaw and TJ Youngblood but we have to punt.

(Crenshaw with a big first down catch)

      4th quarter

Virgina drives down the field and scores to go up 14-7 at the start of the fourth. This is where most of the fans gave up, but not the team! Lowry leads an amazing drive, even including a rare catch by Aaron Wheeler (kidding buddy) and Lowry hits WR J. Cade for the TD. Coach Roberts thinks his options over and he asks the team what they want to do. The offense agreed and they went out for the two point conversation. They wanted to win the game. Lowry hits Cade again on the two point conversation and the Trojans lead 15-14 with one minute left! Inspired by the offense, DE JaMarcus Greene gets the first sack of the dynasty, forces a fumble, recovers the fumble, and takes it to the three yard line where Kerry Hurst punches it in to make it 22-14 Trojan FINAL. TROJANS WIN THEIR FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON

      Two Point Conversion!

      JaMarcus Greene SACK

P.S I tried to get everyone who asked for a picture in a picture.

      OS'ers
      Matthew Lowry 14/30 1TD 1INT (WR's had 5 DROPS) Was sacked 5 TIMES.
      Kerry Hurst 9att 66yards 1rushingTD, 1 recievingTD
JT Thomas 10att 32 yards 0TD (not sure what I can do to get you more yards man)
      TJ Youngblood 5catches 75yds
Brandon Crenshaw 2catches 22yards (tough game)
      Aaron Wheeler 1catches 14yards (3 drops, one was 50+ yards. C'MON AARON )
      Jamaal Williams-7tackles
      Kwame Adu-3 tackles
      Khalid Drayton-1tackle 2deflections
      JaMarcus Green-3tackles 1sack,1 FF, 1FR
      Javon Duece-4 tackles
      Billy Goat-2 tackles 2deflections
      Thomas Posey-1 tackle
      Tony Waters-4 tackle 2TFL
      Ed Savage-allowed a sack
      Kiel Hurd-Decent blocking

Game as at the end of the last page.

      From Tiger's Mouth

On the Offense: We played well when we had to. The kicker missed a 25 yard FG. How terrible. Lowry threw accurately, and the receivers caught balls when they had to. Very clutch. The running game was alright. Hurst seems to be getting the holes when he's running, JT not so lucky. Our O-Line is just pitiful.

      On the Defense:
Played REALLY well. Definitely a bend but don't break kind of day. We definitely bent. Actually we are bent everywhere right now, but we didn't break but twice. Once when Virgina went superman mode. Jamarcus Green came up HUGE with the sack/FF/FR. Without that sack Virgina was on our 40 and it looked like they would come away with the win on a FG. Green won us the game with that play in my mind.

After the 22-14 win over the University of Virgina Trojans QB Matthew Lowry met with the press for a Post-Game Press Conference.

Petros(Fox Sports PT): Matt you guys had a much better performace than the Hawaii Game. What did you and your team do to fix what went wrong in Hawaii and how did you apply it to todays game?

ML: Well right after the Hawaii game once we got back to USC we watched the game and noticed what the mistakes were. Our Receivers managed to grab some catches when we need them and we managed to pull through in a very tough game. That was something we didn't apply in Hawaii was that will to fight to a win.
Pat Forde(ESPN): In the first Quarter you looked nervous out there in your first home game. You over threw receivers and you just didn't look the same.

ML: Well, I'm not gonna lie I was nervous more than anything haha. This is something I dreamed of was playing at USC in the LA Coliseum. I use to look at it everyday and watched games there. The energy on the field was more than anything and I got overwhelmed but I think once the first quarter ended and Coach Roberts calmed me down we were good from there.

Matt(Rivals): Coach Roberts pulled you guys together after you scored the TD to make it 13-14. We saw that you guys came out that huddle going for two which shocked us all. What really went on in that huddle?

ML: Well he went over our options and possible senarios on what could happen. It was either go for the Tie and play for Overtime or go for the win and Let the D do its work to win the game for us. We all came to the conclusion to go for the win because once Pac-10 Play comes and we're in tight situations like that we're going to have to take risks like that. Nobody thinks that we had what it took to win and we came away with the big win for us. We're winners and thats what we proved.

Rick(KCAL 9): You guys managed to pull a clutch drive together once SC went down by 7. The fans gave up but you guys didn't. What went through your minds one you guys trailed and what was your thought?

ML: My thought was we weren't going to lose this game. On the serious note we have words that read Fight On. Its everywhere on the USC campus to the shirts we wear to the Bank across the street. It reads the words and we stood by that. We were going to fight on to a win and make sure this season doesn't become a wreck two games in. Our goal is to win games and prove to people that USC is still the Top Program in the Nation despite what went on.

(Thanks ML21 for the interview. That's his second. If anyone else would like to contribute in press conferences or whatever big or small feel free to do so. Just private message me, and i'll get some ingame photos of you and make an image like I did above. Thanks!)

Dang Wheeler needs to catch a ball for once, that's nothing like me in real life.

Yeah, Wheeler gets open on the deep route but it always bounces off his hands. Hopefully he can start making those catches and be a huge threat soon

Great to see our first dynasty win was a ESPN Classic and a good game overall. Also, I'd appreciate if you could give Javon a Black Nike Visor, gloves (anyone dosen't matter), and a black band on his right wrist? Thanks for letting me be a part of this dynasty.

I don't know whether to be happy with 7 tackles through 2 games, or disappointed that I have no other stats
Haha, at least we won against Virginia.

Also, can I get a picture next game. If it's not much of a hassle

Another solid game from TJ. I am happy with my performance. Looks like I might need to step up and show Wheeler how to catch some balls..

I definetly want to give you some interview marterial, but it might have to wait until I get back from vacation, unless I find time to get it to you tomorrow.
