I hope I end up going to The Ohio State but maybe at Virginia Tech I could start? I see that your reopening your CH2k8 dynasty soon, I was on the herbies list but you stopped right after that. I can't wait to see how that goes.

So it is suppose to snow a foot here today. Its been snowing all night and we already have probably close to 4" on the ground. I am going to run into Costco before it gets to deep, then be back to Post Week 7 and Week 8 Recaps. *Edit what looked like 4" is already 6". I am second guessing that trip to Costoc, I am to tired from shoveling for the past 30 minutes*

Hope to get in Week 9 games and maybe Week 10 games today. But then I have a 4 days of 12 hour shifts working a offsite sale for work, so I probably won't be on much posting or reading.

                  WEEK 7 RECAP

                  #3 (6-0) @ (0-5)

Doug Martin scores 2 TD's in the 1st half to give BSU a 24-0 lead over the struggling Rebels. The half time speech must of worked because UNLV comes out and scores on a 8 play 85 yd series to make it 24-7 but Kellen Moore answers back with his 2nd TD toss of the day and BSU adds 2 FG's in the 4th Quarter as they roll to their 7th win of the season.
                  FINAL SCORE BSU-37 UNLV-7

                  KEY PLAYERS
                  QB K. Moore-36/46 449 yds 2 TD
                  RB D. Martin-27 carries 156 yds (5.7 Avg) 2 TD

                  WR K. Moore 8 rec 123 yds 1 TD
                  TE C Koch 9 rec 107 yds
                  TE K. Efaw-5 rec 70 yds

POST GAME COMMENTS BY COACH PETE

"It was great to see Kellen throwing the ball well again after a few average games. He did a great job of spreading the ball around and it opened huge holes for D-Mart to run through. I can't say enough about the Defense. They are playing great. That's back to back games we have forced the opposing team to punt double digit times without creating a turnover. I know the turnovers will come in time.

                    (3-3) VS (3-3)

Both team would struggle in the 1st Quarter, but EWU would finally get on the scoreboard with 1 minute to play as T. Jones scores from 11 yds out. The Lobos would then explode in the 2nd Quarter scoring 3 TD's to take a 21-10 lead into the half.

The Eagles would answer back to score 10 unanswered in the 3rd to make it 21-20 going into the final quarter. NMU would get a 36 yd FG to from J. Aho to start the 4th making it 24-20 with 6 minutes to play.

But T. Jones came alive in the 4th running for 84 yds including a 11 yd TD run, and also catching a 8 yd TD pass from Mitchell to give EWU the 34-24 lead with 2:28 to play. EWU would add a 37 yd FG at the end of the game just to make sure they got the vicotry

"I am really proud of how the guys battle back. We didn't play well in the 1st half, but we never gave up. T. Jones once again proved he can't be stopped and even when I am down by a couple of scores, I have no issues giving him the rock, because all he does is makes plays."

What suck is he won't be considered for a Heisman with EWU being unranked.

"The Tide have 3 tough games left (#7 Clemson, #14 LSU and #13 Auburn) plus the SEC Championship. If they are undefeated after that they deserve to be in the National Title Game.

"The earned a spot in the National Title game last year after dominating the MAC, but this year they must face the team they lost to in the National Title Game (BSU) in Week 15. A loss and their hopes are gone. Not to mention a possible matchup against Temple for the MAC Championship"

                        #19/#23 (7-0)

"They won't face Cincy until the MAC Championship, but still got to get by 5-2 UConn. If they win out, they could at least earn a BCS Bowl, but National Title hopes? Not this year!!"

"Like #2 V.T. they havn't played the toughest of ACC opponents, having only beate 5-2 UNC. If they can get by VT in Week 11 then they have a shot at the ACC title and a BCS Bowl game."

Jones is a Senior, so is my back D. Beaumonte (40 carries 216 yds 5 TD)

I have 2 RS FR D. Johnson (61 Overall) and RS FR A. Wright (60 Overall) will be my only returning RB. So I have 2-3* guys and a couple of 3* Athletes who I am targetting to come in and be a 4 yr starter for me.

JONES MAKING A CASE FOR HEISMAN?

The Fact that EWU has won 4 games this year is because of T. Jones. The Senior has carried the ball 178 times for 1442 yds and an amazing 21 TD's. These stats far surpass RB Ryan Williams (VT) however because the Hokies are #2 in the nation, Williams gets the billing as the #1 RB in the country.

Bo Levi Mitchell is known as a Gun Slinger and he has done a pretty good job passing for 2387 yds this season. but his 13/16 TD to INT ratio has some questioning his decisions as times.

                                KAUFFMAN MAKES HISTORY
Junior Brandon Kauffman is making school history catching 60 balls for 1164 yds and 8 TD's in just 7 games. He now holds the school record for TD's in a Game (4), Recieving Yards in a Game (298) and Recieving Yards in a Season (1164 and going) He is also on pace to break the TD's in a Season as well as Receptions in a Season if he keeps up the pace.

ALL-AMERICAN DE R. WILLIAMS IS HOT!!!

After shocking the nation posting 13.5 sacks last season SR Roland Williams was named a NCAA All-American. Teams took notice and Williams struggled against Double and sometimes even Triple teams to get to the QB. However in the past 3 games, Williams has recorded 5 Sacks including back to back games with 2 each and now has 7 For the Year.
