Yep playing both. It's funny beacuse I use the same sliders yet, BSU blows out their opponents and EWU struggles.

Sorry guys I didn't get things posted. I am working 9-3 tomorrow will get them up after work along with Week 5 Recruiting Recap of the Herbies.

        WEEK 4 RECAP

        #2 (3-0) VS

        GAME RECAP

With the Broncos move to #2 in the Coaches Poll, the thought on everyones mind is don't screw up and overlook each and every opponent from here on out.

Week 4 wouldn't be a issue. The Broncos would dominated from start to finish taking a 34-0 lead into the half as D. Martin scores 2 on the ground and K. Moore passes for 3 TD's in the air.

In the 2nd half the Bronco "D" would continue to dominate forcing 2 fumbles and keeping the Miners out of th endzone yet again. Martin would score his 3rd TD of the game well DJ Harper would score his 1st of the year, and Backup QB Joe Southwick would also toss his 1st career TD hitting C. Potter (38 yds) as the Broncos rolled.
        FINAL SCORE BSU-55 UTEP-0

        KEY STATS

        QB K. Moore-23/35 424 yds 3 TD
        QB J. Southwick 3/4 61 yds 1 TD
        RB D. Martin-21 carries 79 yds (3.7 Avg) 3 TD
RB DJ Harper-17 carries 79 yds (4.6 Avg) 1 TD

        WR C. Potter-1 rec 38 yd 1 TD

        UTEP
        QB C. Meger 7/25 37 yds
        Team Rushing-26 carries 40 yds
First Downs-7 Total Yards of Offense-77

POST GAME COMMENTS BY COACH PETE

"This was by far the most dominating Defense showcase I have ever seen. To limit a team ot just 77 yds and 7 1st Downs is amazing. Our Offense obviously played great. It was good to see DJ and Joe both get TD's in backup duty."

              (1-2) VS (2-0)

              Battle for the ??

              GAME RECAP

Playing their 1st game against each, these 2 Washington schools have yet to establish a rivalary or a name? Votes are still out.

Turnovers would dominate the 1st half for both teams as EWU has 3 (2 INT and a fumble) and UW has 3 (all INT). Finally with 8 seconds to play UW would score on a 10 yd pass from N. Montana to J. Kearse to give the Huskies the 13-7 lead.

EWU would continue to struggle moving the ball in the 3rd Quarter as T. Jones was stopped on every carry. UW would add another score as Montana hits C. Polk on 19 yd scoring pass to put UW up 20-10 at the end of "3".

Again EWU would fail to put the ball in the endzone and had to settle for a 23 yd FG to make it 20-13 with 3 minutes to play, but on the insuing kickoff, C. Polk would break 4 tackles well taking 99 yds to the house to put UW back up 27-13. EWU would finally get in the endzone scoring just their 2nd TD of the game, as T. Jones rumbles in from 3 yds out. Coach Baldwin would go for 2pt and fail making it 27-19 with 1:56 to play. After a failed onside kick. UW would run out most of the clock before kicking a 19 yd FG to seal the win.
              FINAL SCORE EWU-19 UW-30

              KEY PLAYERS

              QB- B. Mitchell-20/49 340 yds 1 TD 3 INT
              RB T. Jones-22 carries 97 yds (4.4 Avg) 1 TD
              WR B. Kauffman-8 rec 148 yds
              WR G. Herd-3 rec 59 yds
              WR T. Hart-4 rec 45 yds
              TE R. Williams-1 rec 26 yds 1 TD

FS B Lechtenberg- 5 Solo Tackles, 3 INT
              CB A. Chandler-7 Tackles (5 Solo) 1 INT

              QB N. Montana 21/39 290 yds 2 TD 4 INT
              RB C. Polk-22 carries 80 yds, 1 rec 19 yds 1 TD, 1 99 yd Kickoff for TD
              WR J. Kearse-5 rec 31 yds 1 TD

POST GAME COMMENTS BY COACH BALDWIN

I really felt like our Defense played great, but UW played great as well limiting Tawain from making big plays and limiting our WR's as well. When we put 3 Pac-10 teams on the schedule I never thought we would be 0-3 against them a 1-3 to start the year.

As stupid as this sounds... struggling a little with a team keeps the game exciting for me. Then, if/when you can bring EWU up... it's that much more fulfilling!

The cool thing with Boise, even if you do blow out teams, you are playing against being a non-BCS Conference school and you have the added element of TRYING to get a BCS Conference invite.

Boise's dominating. You should call the rivalry between Washington, Washington State, and Eastern Washington just simply the Battle of Washington kinda like the service academies rivalries. Love your dynasties though. Keep it up!

It actually has been fun, but I would really like to see EWU get some more W's. I am sure they will once we start Conference play in the WAC. Mitchell,Jones and Kauffman are putting up huge #'s and the Defense actually is pretty solid.
