Nice blow out over BYU too, that was needed after the loss to USC. The top 25 was stirred up a bit, some big upset losses in there!

Yeah it was a little frustrating though, I got them to 4th down on 3 different drives, but they converted all 3 for 1st downs. If I had been able to stop just 1 of them, I would've had more time left to try and tie the game or win. Haas played amazing minus the 1 INT in the endzone (another play that would've won the game had I converted). As you can see by my BYU results, the new game plan is to just let Howard carry us to a BCS Bowl game (I hope).

With all the Top-10 loss's the same week our loss doesn't hurt as bad. I don't expect LSU or Texas to finish the year undefeated. The biggest ? is will there be a team like Cincy has been the past 2 years that goes undefeated and works their way into the Top-5.

Not really I wanted to break the NCAA record.

          (3-0) VS (1-1)

STEWART LEADS THE WAY ONCE AGAIN

          GAME RECAP

With Freshman QB M. Wilson struggling, Coach Baldwin knew that he would have to establish a strong run game if the Eagles were going to defeat the Rams once again and set themselves up for a possible repeat as WAC Champs, so the game plan was simple get the ball into D-Stew's hands and let his legs carry the team.

Both teams would struggle in the 1st quarter as the score remained 0-0, but with 3:30 to play in the 2nd, Stewart would score the 1st of this 2 2nd Quarter TD's to give EWU the 14-0 lead at the half.

Colorado State would answer back as they too were sticking to the ground game. RB C. Nwoke would score on TD run's of 4 yds and 1yd to tie the game with 6:57 to play in the 4th Quarter.

With FR QB M. Wilson on the sideline. RS FR T. Peoples would get his first action as a college QB and deliver going 4/5 for 36 yds to help set up another TD run by FB L. Crooks. (His 2nd straight game with a TD) with 3:45 to play.

The "D" would then step up forcing back to back 3 and outs and with 11 seconds to play FR Kicker E. Lewis would attempt a 42 yd FG but missed just left as the Eagles pulled out the victory.

          FINAL SCORE EWU-21 CSU-14

          KEY PLAYERS
          QB M. Wilson-6/14 109 yds 2 INT
          QB T. Peoples-4/6 36 yds
          RB D. Stewart-24 carries 142 yds 2 TD
          RB D. Johnson-7 carries 40 yds
          WR B. Kauffman-6 rec 81 yds
          WR N. Edwards-2 rec 41 yds

          QB P. Thomas-9/14 116 yds 1 INT
          RB C. Nwoke-25 carries 121 yds 2 TD, 2 rec 25 yds
          WR L. Greenwood-3 rec 48 yds.

POST GAME COMMENTS BY COACH BALDWIN

"Tonight was a team effort. We struggled with our passing game, but Peoples came in and did a great job in the 4th Quarter to keep us in the game, Stewart carried the load once again, but Johnson was strong in relief when he needed a breather and Crooks showed once again he is a force in short yardage situations. We will watch film this week and decide what our decision will be at QB next week. We have an amazing Wide Reciever Core, Brandon Kauffman is probably the best WR in the nation that people don't get to see on a weekly basis and we need to have someone who can get him the ball"

Yeah. He is struggling. Might need to take a look at the roster and see if making some Offensive or Defensive adjustments might work.

I know Coach Nelson tried to switch WSU to a dominate Run team and it didn't work with the personal they had so he switched back to a Spread Passing attack and now this year they are 2-1 and even in the loss to EWU they threw for 300+ yds.

0-3? Coach Claw isn't doing to great his second year. Let's hope I can get a few wins this season.

I'm still following this. I just hardly ever log in anymore and comment. But you still have me as a follower.

Good to know. I know you comments several times last season, so I figured you were still along for the ride, but I havn't heard anything from 3-4 of the guys who have created coaches, so I am just starting to wonder if I need to keep posting their teams.

That probably would help quite a bit.

Good to see Coach Anderson has done okay to well in the first 3 games.

Yeah I changed up my sliders I am trying a different set of All-American sliders, trying to see if I can get even more challenging games, for some reason I am loaded with Talent with BSU yet I struggle in games, and with EWU my roster is filled with guys rated in the 60's, yet I typically don't have issues winning games.

I hope to get Week 5 stuff posted tonight.

Matt Lykell has been a beast for me so far. He is now leading the race for the Heisman as a Freshman. It doesn't matter where I line him up on the field he goes up and makes huge plays at 6'5 their isn't a defender who can cover him.

By the way I forgot to ask he he suppose to be White or Black.. Matt Lykell sounds like a White kids name, but I realize I fogot to change his skin color.
