Brady would have done a little better. Probably would have a couple more wins and a lot less interceptions. I just wanted to give Mallett a chance since Brady is getting old...Comment

Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
2012 - Week #16
Chasing Legends - Adrian Peterson has rolled up a huge amount of yards on the ground, and is on pace to set the single-season rushing record.
Substantial Loss For Substantial Time Frame - Percy Harvin won't be able to return to the field for several weeks, which is a substantial blow to the Vikings.
Dialing Long Distance - Matthew Staffords 418 yards passing gave the Lions a 61-14 win over the Falcons.
Falling At Home - The Jaguars failed to get a win at home versus the visiting Patriots. They lost 17-13.
See Who's Tweetin'
@SkipBayless - Nothing better than seeing a rushing attack that just dominates the game. Passing isn't the only option!@WingozEA - The Jets have had a ridiculous year on the ground, racking up 2,000 yards of rushing offense.@RossTuckerEA - Been fun watching a perfectly balanced running system in New York this year.@MarkSchlerethEA - It's not a coincidence the Jets have done this on the ground. Great blocking, great talent.@MarkSchlerethEA - Coaches love a guy like Alfred Morris who can go out and get you consistent yardage on the ground.@SkipBaylessEA - Championship teams dominate turnover differential. #Bills@RoFloEA - Clearly Victor Cruz is having a very good season.@WingozEA - Good season continues for Torrey Smith as he eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving this week.@MarkSchlerethEA - The passing system in place in Green Bay has really led to great results this year.@WingozEA - The Packers have more than 4,500 passing yards on the year. #effective@SkipBaylessEA - The NFL needs to WAKE UP and try to slow down this Packers passing attack.@RossTuckerEA - I don't think Julio Jones is ever satisfied so he won't give a second thought to 1,000 yards.@mortreportEA - Jets are mum on the issue, but they can't be happy with the team's performance this year, or the coaching.@MattMillerEA - With only 7 wins at this point, Jim Harbaugh should have a lot on his mind -- much of it not positive.@MikeHillEA - K. Whisenhunt is not one to make excuses, so he won't try to defend how the Cardinals have played. #hotseat@RossTuckerEA - It's tough to look at things in a vacuum right now, but P. Shurmur is a guy who should stick around. #hotseat@MattMillerEA - With 6 wins on the year, Mike Shanahan hopes everybody just forgives and forgets. #hotseat #Redskins@SkipBaylessEA - If Jeff Fisher doesn't return next year, the reason will be obvious: lack of results in 2012. #hotseat@mortreportEA - At this point, Buccaneers have to look at Greg Schiano's body of work and decide some things. #hotseat@SkipBaylessEA - They do not tolerate losses in Dallas. Wake up and win down the stretch Jason Garrett. #hotseat@mortreportEA - #Patriots came into Jacksonville and pulled it out against the #Jaguars.@RossTuckerEA - Matthew Stafford came up HUGE. Get this man some more sponsors. #Lions@MarkSchlerethEA - Got to see the highlights from the Lions game, what a day for Matthew Stafford.@RossTuckerEA - The NFL season turns into a battle of attrition, and I'm sure Percy Harvin and the Vikings know that.@RossTuckerEA - Speed, smarts, moves, power. Adrian Peterson is the total package and is nearing greatness #recordwatch@WingozEA - It's really no surprise to see Matthew Stafford crowned as the NFC offensive player of the week.@AdamSchefterEA - Reggie Bush is not used to this attention, but he'll get plenty more now that he's #AFCPoW@WingozEA - We talked plenty about Victor Butler this week because, well, he was great. #NFCPoW@SkipBaylessEA - If Brice McCain wants ME to take notice, then fine he has my attention. #AFCPoW

Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
New England PatriotsPlayoff Scenarios
Foxboro, MA - Wow it's a close one after looking at the standings. The Patriots can only get into the Playoffs by winning their division. No chance at a playoff bye at all. Here are the scenarios:
Patriots defeat Miami - Patriots win division and make playoffs
Patriots lose to Miami - Jets and Bills must tie for Patriots to win Division
So the Patriots HAVE to win their game against last place Miami because the Bills are playing the Jets. Patriots have beaten the Bills twice this season so if they both win, then Patriots have the tiebreaker. Patriots have lost twice to the Jets so if Jets win and Patriots lose, Jets win division because of a tiebreaker. We cannot bet on a tie between those teams at all.
I will continue with the Power Rankings and final matchup preview soon.Comment

Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
Playoffs?!?! You wanna talk about Playoffs?!?!
Patriots Destroy Dolphins for much needed win
PATRIOTS 65 - Dolphins 10
Foxboro, MA - Win and in! That's all that was said in the locker room. The Patriots needed a win to enter the playoffs and they did. They did this on one spectacular performance from everyone. Every facet of the game was executed perfectly. Let's start with the defense...
You would never think Chandler Jones is a rookie with his performance today of 2 sacks and an interception that almost went for a TD. Along with Chandler, the rest of the defense held tight and only allowed 10 points and less than 200 yards total offense. When Coach Gerard tells you to stop the other teams offense, you gotta listen.
Next comes Mr. Mallett (well this dynasty does star him). Ryan pulled in a performance like no other. Over 400 yards and 2 TDs was his day. A day in which he shows the New England faithful that he can follow in Tom Brady's footsteps. That's yet to be seen as they're only in the Wildcard round of the playoffs.
Stevan Ridley....221 yards on the ground? WHAT?!?!?! Four touchdowns? WHAT?!?!?!? Where has this been all season? Pulling off a season long 76 yarder early in the game, Stevan's day was just starting. Never mind him putting in 4 himself. Brandon Bolden added 2 more to bring the total to 6 rushing touchdowns. This is unheard of in New England! They went over 2000 yards rushing as a team and I don't remember when the last time that happened.
Wes Welker and the wide receivers made Ryan Mallett's job easy pulling in over 80% of the balls thrown. Season high 9 catches by Wes Welker led the way. Aaron Hernandez added some good yardage with a few spectacular catches and runs for the team....and now for the downside....
Brandon Lloyd is gone for the whole Playoffs. He dislocated his elbow in the red zone on a catch. This may have an impact on Mallett's performance going forward as he won't have his full arsenault of ball catches at his disposal. Danny Amendola will jump up and fill Brandon Lloyd's place for the upcoming post season.
The Patriots go against the 10-5-1 San Diego Chargers in Gillette Stadium next Sunday. The game will be played at 1pm EST. This looks to be a great game and a tough one for the Patriots. We will do a game preview before hand. See you next week!

Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
2012 - Week #17
Into The Sunset - The final chapter has been written for Tom Coughlin as the coach has announced his retirement.
Cincinnati Fires Coach - Bengals let go of Marvin Lewis today. Sources indicate a poor win-loss record as a major factor why the decision was ultimately made.
A Place At the Table - The Super Bowl is in sight, the playoffs are upon us, and the Eagles and Saints will be looking for a victory in an NFC wild card matchup.
The First Step - Jaymee Gerard and the Patriots desperately want to get to the Super Bowl, but to get there they will have to take down the Chargers in the AFC wild card round.
What Learning Curve? - The Saints have made the playoffs with first-year head coach D. McDonald at the helm.
Making a Satement - Jaymee Gerard has been a great young leader for his team, and he's a big reason the Patriots are headed to the playoffs.
In Hunt for History - Steve Smith doesn't need to do much more work to eclipse the NFL single-season receiving yards record.
Pushing to be the Best - Nobody expected more out of Peter Carroll than himself at the beginning of the year.
A Runaway Victory - The Patriots walk away with the bragging rights as they maul the Dolphins 65-10.
Leading By Example - This is a special moment for Aaron Rodgers who has officially been named NFL MVP.
Cherish The Moment - If you ask anyone around the league, they will all tell you that Trent Cole deserved the NFC Defesnive Player of the Year award.
Cherish The Moment - Offenses simply could not get away from Rolando McClain this year, and because of that he's roped in Defensive Player of the Year honors for the AFC.
Realizing A Dream - Andrew Luck will now be looked at as a franchise player for sure following his AFC Offensive Player of the Year season.
Big-Time Player - No doubt about it, Aaron Rodgers has earned the right to be called the NFC's Offensive Player of the Year.
At Home in the End Zone - 4 rushing touchdowns for the Stevan Ridley as he went nuts in the Patriots' win over the Dolphins.
Chasing Greats - An incredible career to this point, Tony Gonzalez could retire today and still be remembered forever. But he's not done yet, and he's now 7th on the receiving yards list.
Just Another Week in the NFL - Team officials believe the injury Brandon Lloyd sustained during this week's game will sideline him for a couple of weeks.
See Who's Tweetin'
@mortreportEA - Patriots will lose some depth with Brandon Lloyd being out these next couple weeks.@MarkSchlerethEA - There's no good way to cover Tony Gonzalez. Runs great routes and has great moves after the fact. #recordwatch@SkipBaylessEA - Stevan Ridley finishes runs and gets scores. Goal line or not, he's clearly trusted to get into the end zone.@MattMillerEA - Stevan Ridley was impossibly good for the Patriots this week. No other way to say it.@SkipBaylessEA - Superstars win awards like this. Aaron Rodgers IS a superstar. #OPoY@RossTuckerEA - There were multiple times where you just had to sit and watch Aaron Rodgers on that field this year.@JerryRiceEA - That's great to hear Andrew Luck has won offensive player of the year. He's been fun to watch all year.@SkipBaylessEA - Andrew Luck now has a taste of greatness. Let's see how he handles it. #MVP@RossTuckerEA - I'm sure offenses everywhere agree Rolando McClain should have won the award. #Dmvp@MarkSchlereth - It's just been fun watching Rolando McClain this year. #DMVP@SkipBaylessEA - The best defensive player deserves this award, and that player is Trent Cole. #Dmvp@RoFloEA - Had Trent Cole on to talk about his award, needless to say he was very happy about it. #DMVP@RossTuckerEA - To be that good and that talented, wow. #Rodgers@MarkSchlerethEA - Congratulations go out to Aaron Rodgers for winning the MVP Award.@RossTuckerEA - From the moment Aaron Rodgers stepped on the field this year he was the best player. #MVP@LArringtonEA - The crowd was rocking in New England this week, and the Patriots gave them every right to be.@RossTuckerEA - Good to see Peter Carroll get selected for this coach of the year award. It was the right choice.@MattMillerEA - Was expecting that Pete Carroll was going to win this award.@RoFloEA - Will get to talk with Pete Carroll tonight about being chosen as coach of the year. My guess is he'll be humble.@RoFloEA - I see Steve Smith and think Steve Largent, Jerry Rice and an alt-reality version of NFL-me wrapped into one #recordwatch@MarkSchlereth - Tom Coughlin says he's retiring, but I'm not sure if he's pulling a Cower or a Vermeil. I'm thinking the latter.@RossTuckerEA - For a franchise like the Giants, Tom Coughlin knows a reg. season like this is unacceptable. #hotseat@MattMillerEA - Hammer drops in Cincinnati. Entire staff fired. No word on a replacement yet.@WingozEA - The Saints have more than 4,500 passing yards on the year. #effective@WingozEA - Can't convince myself that the Patriots are the team to beat with J. Gerard at the helm.@SCollinsEA - With D. McDonald at the helm, the Saints have the poise to pull this off. Hope they make their mark.@WingozEA - Can't convince myself that the Patriots are the team to beat with J. Gerard at the helm.@WingozEA - It's really no surprise to see Marshawn Lynch crowned as the NFC offensive player of the week.@RoFloEA - Stevan Ridley is either vilified or beloved this week in fantasy leagues everywhere. #AFCPoW@WingozEA - I'd say Chandler Jones is one of the main reason I'm happy to be in the studio and not on the field in pads. #AFCPoW@mortreportEA - The well versed Charles Johnson takes home #NFPoW for Week 17.

Passing Milestones
@RoFloEA - Clearly Steve Breaston is having a very good season.@RossTuckerEA - I don't think Demaryius Thomas is ever satisfied so he won't give a second thought to 1,000 yards@MarkSchlerethEA - The passing system in place in New Orleans has really led to great results this year.@SkipBaylessEA - NFL needs to WAKE UP and try to slow down this Saints passing attack.@MarkSchlerethEA - Marques Colston has been on the same page all year long with his quarterback. #keepthrowing
Rushing Milestones

Passing isn't the only option!@WingozEA - The Chiefs have a had a ridiculous year on the ground, racking up 2,000 yards of rushing offense.@MarkSchlerethEA - It's not a coincidence the Chiefs have done this on the ground. Great blocking, great talent.@RossTuckerEA - Been fun watching a perfectly balanced running system in San Francisco this year.@WingozEA - 9,000 yards and probably pleny more to follow for Frank Gore.@WingozEA - 1,000 yards for Darren McFadden, and would you really be surprised if he just keeps on trucking?@SkipBaylessEA - Running backs may be less important now, but you can't tell me Fred Jackson getting 1,000 yards is a bad thing.@RossTuckerEA - 1,000-yd rushers aren't what they used to be, but it's not like you don't want LeSean McCoy on your team.
Defensive Milestones
@MattMillerEA - The Chargers will actually end the regular season having thrown less than 10 INTS.@RossTuckerEA - The Falcons' defense is capable of doing even more to slow down passing attacks in the future.@RossTuckerEA - Everyone looks for interceptions now, so impressive stuff from the Falcons this year not throwing many picks.@MattMillerEA - Easy enough to say the Colts have been effective turning teams over this year.@WingozEA - Bears now got 30 turnovers this year. Guess they got the memo about turnovers being important.

Rex Ryan will be talked about plenty. #hotseat@MattMillerEA - A busy offseason is always filled with coaching changes in the NFL. #Redskins #hotseat@SkipBaylessEA - I'm not letting Chuck Pagano come back and coach next year, but I'm not the Colts' GM. #hotseat@MikeHillEA - Pat Shurmur will now have to wait and see if he's been given enough leeway to survive a rough year. #hotseat@RossTuckerEA - Wins, it's what it's about in the NFL -- J.
