Nice to see my Dolphins give you a challenge in your last game. Lol hope that doesn't happen in my CCM. Good Luck in the Playoffs. This will probably be the only time I want the Patriots to win the Super Bowl.

You have higher hopes than I do. I don't know if I'll make it out of the first round.Comment

Award Tweets
@MarkSchlereth - Nothing could stop D'Qwell Jackson from getting to ball carriers this year. #tacklemachine@RossTucker - Kyle Williams is a dangerous pass rusher, and he can get even better.@SkipBaylessEA - Either QB's didn't respect Kyle Arrington very much or he just made them pay. I tend to think it's the latter.@MarkSchlereth - Because Calvin Johnson Jr. catches everything thrown his way, his QB looks to him every play. #receptionking@RossTuckerEA - Adrian Peterson just seems to see the holes really well, and has talent to take advantage of vision.@SkipBaylessEA - I don't consider QB rating the be-all-end-all so I don't think Cam Newton was best QB by default.@WingozEA - For the first time, Steve Smitch has been selected as the best wide receiver in the NFL.@RoFloEA - Spoke with Andre Johnson, and he feels like this is only the beginning.@SkipBaylessEA - Don't tell Marshawn Lynch it's a QB league. #bestRB@WingozEA - Big day for Aaron Rodgers as he's been selected as the best QB in the NFL this year.@SkipBaylessEA - More than any other position, being considered the best QB reall means something to Andrew Luck.@RossTuckerEA - This is what the NFL is about. You have got to find talent, and the Buccaneers found that with Lavonte David #NFCRoY@MarkSchlerethEA - Franchise players are hard to find, but Chandler Jones may just be one. #AFCRoY@SkipBaylessEA - Plenty of rookies of the year have flamed out. I worry about Robert Griffin III becoming complacent. #NFC #OROTY@WingozEA - It's been confirmed that Andrew Luck is the Offensive Rookie of the Year. #AFCLast edited by JaymeeAwesome; 12-26-2012, 03:46 PM.Comment

@AdamSchefterEA - Megatron is headed to Honolulu after a big 2012 season. No #MaddenCurse here.@RossTuckerEA - It doesn't matter if Calvin Johnson is going to the Pro Bowl, some players will still believe in the #MaddenCurse@RossTuckerEA - I've pointed out inconsistencies in Pro Bowl voting before, but Adrian Peterson has been deserving over the years.@RoFloEA - Can you get tired of Hawaii? I'd like to think no.@WingozEA - For a fifth time, Philip Rivers will be heading to the Pro Bowl -- if he so chooses.Last edited by JaymeeAwesome; 12-26-2012, 03:47 PM.Comment

Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
There's always next year...
Mallett throws 4 picks in loss to Chargers
PATRIOTS 28 - Chargers 31
Foxboro, MA - I was surprise to see the Patriots make it this far. Ryan Mallett is no Tom Brady, so we shouldn't expect Tom Brady's clutch performance come out of Ryan Mallett. Mallett threw 4 picks today to add to his 4 touchdowns. It goes to show you that you can't win in the play-offs when you give the ball away. Chargers defense had some holes in it and Mallett found them occasionally, but he threw some risky passes that found their way into Chargers hands.
Stevan Ridley's performance was remarkable. He was able to hit the gaps and find ways to grab some yards. Ridley alone made it so Mallett could throw the ball. If Ridley didn't spread out the defense with his ability to run, Ryan couldn't find his targets. It's sad that Ridley couldn't find the end zone on his own, but the Patriots were down most of the game.
Having Brandon Lloyd was tough as Mallett's interceptions were on routes normally ran by Lloyd. Mallett couldn't connect with Amendola due to the limited time they have had together. They Patriots will have to work with their receiver corp in the off-season to prepare for next year.
The game itself was a roller coaster ride. The Chargers come out of the gate with 20 straight points. It wasn't until the last drive of the 2nd quarter that Mallett got into gear. Hitting Gronkowski in the end zone for a TD. Patriots come out in the second half and score another touchdown right away with Wes Welker to keep the game at 20-14.
The Chargers come back with a field goal to make it 23-14, but the next possesion had the Patriots in the endzone again. This time the pass was to Danny Amendola. We have a 23-21 game at the beginning of the 4th quarter. Patriots were able to subdue the Chargers with sacks coming from Wilfork and Jones and get the ball back.
Mid-way through the 4th quarter Patriots take a drive down and score another TD with Gronkowski to make it 28-23 with about 5 minutes left to play. Patriots then make the Chargers punt with about 2:43 left. Patriots ran the clock down to 1:41 before they punted it away. That's when the comeback started...
Philip Rivers was able to take the Chargers offense down the field to the Patriots side. Chargers needed a touchdown because a field goal would not do it. With about 35 seconds left, Rivers makes an audible at the line and sends Royal on a Go-route while the Patriots line up in man coverage. Royal with the speed he has was able to get by Pro-bowl cornerback Kyle Arrington and bring it home with a touchdown to take the lead. The Chargers added a 2 point conversion to give them a 3 point lead.
Patriots are to get the ball with 27 seconds left and all their time outs. They're thinking they can make it to Chargers territory and tie up the game. Mallett sees man coverage just like Philip Rivers did and attempted to send Danny Amendola on a streak. As the ball is hiked, Amendola can't get off the line and is tied up. Once he finally gets release, Mallett heaves the ball up there without knowing that there was safety help up top. Chargers intercept the ball and run out the clock, game over.
Hey, there's always next year...
