    PETE AND REPEAT

    PS4 32-team CFM
    Rosters: Latest
Sliders: Seeing how mine transfer to PS4 first, willing to try others

Decided to say eff it and roll with my favorite team that doesn't have a QB named Peyton Manning. Been a lifelong follower of these guys so I'm not going to be apologetic about them being the defending SB champs and playoff-bound again when they just won their first SB after being in the league for almost 40 years. Went through a lot of bad years as a Seahawks fan, especially when they were in the AFC West and I was married to a Raiders fan. Now that I have a shiny new PS4 I thought I'd have some fun with Danger Russ and the #LOB. I've done plenty of rebuilding projects. This time it's about seeing how hard it will be to repeat.

When my brother got Madden on the release day for XBONE he said the download itself took about six hours. Not sure what the install took. Regardless, glad you have it ready to go. Looking forward to this!

I was about to give up on 32 team control (couldn't play the first preseason game) but I think I've found the solution. Posted the fix on the main Madden page.

Good luck with the Seahawks Mudcat, it should be fun finally using a great team from the start instead of having to rebuild. I'll be following!

                            Re: Pete And Repeat

Contrary to what I originally thought, game prep is not the only culprit in the borking of a 32-user CFM. Before I get to more on that, let me say that someone at OS said all you have do is back out of the CFM and then reload it. That has not worked for me.

Decided I didn't want any simmed games so I went back and started over with setting up all 32 coaches, actually ended up doing that twice do to my trials and errors.

At the beginning of the CFM, you can't do anything other than play the first game, or you won't be able to play it. Don't even save it (there's already the date and time-named save anyway. Can't load custom sliders before playing game one, or input new sliders. Did those only and couldn't play. Can't do the auto-sub reset thing. Did that only and couldn't play. Can't do game prep. Did that only and couldn't play.

During the course of closing the application multiple times, a had to go through the Seahawks-Panthers game and skip skills trainer a second time. I think that where it reset my profile settings to default. I figured I was in trouble when I started the game and I had commentary (I set it to zero). Sure enough, the first time I called a pass Russ just stood there and got sacked. So I had to close out yet again and restore my settings, including coach mode on.

So now I'm ready to get started by loading the default save and going straight into the first game. After that's played I'll load up my sliders and do game prep, etc. I won't be able to advance the week until I'm actually ready to play the next game. That means that when I get to the regular season, there's going to be lag between the game report and posting that week's scores, etc.

After all that I'm ready for a break from the game to watch a couple of my shows and shoot the ****e out of aliens and collect some bounties in destiny. Will play the first game tomorrow. Promise.

                              Seahawks Slam Broncs Again

Whenever the Beast Mode era in Seattle ends, the Seahawks' running game looks like it will still be in capable hands (or legs). With Robert Turbin rushing for 88 yards as the lead back during the second and third quarters, the 'Hawks' 2015 exhibition season began the same way as the 2014 campaign ended- with a thumping of the Denver Broncos. Christine Michael chipped in another 47 yards, averaging 4.2 on his 11 carries, and rookie wideout Paul Richardson made a splash with 5 catches for 126 yards that included a 76 yard touchdown. In the brief 1's vs. 1's action, Russell Wilson directed a field goal drive while the Broncos failed to score. Seattle broke the game open with a 21 point second quarter and never looked back. The 4th quarter began with the second play of B.J. Daniels' first series under center, the Seahawks holding a 27-14 lead, and lasted until only 5:32 to go, when Daniels hit Kevin Norwood for a 10 yard TD. Salt was rubbed in the wound in the ensuing Denver possession by Marcus Burley's pick-six for the final tally.
