Thanks for the compliment on the graphics bro. Yeah I use a capture card called the El Gato HD60. One end plugs into the computer via USB, then you have an HDMI cable going from your console into the capture card, and another HDMI cable going from the capture card into the monitor/TV. It captures in great quality and runs for about $150 usually.

KC DUANE FIRST SEASON A SUCCESS AT WEST VIRGINIA!

After three BCS titles in four seasons, KC Duane left Penn State looking for a challenge.

He found it in West Virginia.

          And he met it.

Duane guided the Mountaineers to 12-2 record and a Big12 Championship in his first season at the helm of a new five year deal which Duane says will be his last.

"We have a great group of young student-athletes who gave us everything they had. It was a great season for us as we build to a BCS championship," stated Duane.

Two victories highighted West Virgina's season.

A 38-31 win at #1 Texas was a stunner which saw the Longhorns turn over the ball SEVEN times. Another highight of the Mountaineers season was the 45-14 dismantling of the Oklahoma Sooners for the conference title.

Unfortunately West Virginia couldn't follow up with a Fiesta Bowl win as they blew a 10 point lead in the fourth quarter against Navy and wound up losing 28-24 to the Midshipmen in Glendale.

              Thanks for the response!

To answer your question, in a modified form.

I've played this dynasty during the fall and winter the past few years and am concluding it with this five year stint at WVU which will take me through 2042.

I'm going to do the condensed versions for the first four seasons like above due to time restrictions and then crank up the reports for a 'dramatic' final season.

West Virginia Claims 2039 BCS Title!
Thrilling OT Win Against Air Force Gives Duane Fifth Championship

                  (NEW ORLEANS) –

                  Never give up.

You see that statement when you walk into West Virginia head coach KC Duane’s office. It’s there for all to see on the wall behind his desk in a 4x4 frame in a simple black and white format.

It’s a statement his Mountaineers lived up to in the 2039 BCS championship game against the Air Force Falcons, coming from behind to win a 37-34 thriller in overtime.

It appeared that West Virginia had this one in lockdown heading into the fourth quarter with a 24-10 lead. The nation’s #1 defence surely couldn’t’ collapse in the biggest game of the year? But it did as the Falcons scored three touchdowns to take a 31-24 lead with 1:05 remaining.

“Somehow, someway, I knew that we would get it done. We just had a team that never quit,” stated a champagne-soaked Duane in the victorious locker room.

The Mountaineers ran a couple of short passes and then decided to go for the jugular. “We had a choice of four verts or running deep attack,” said quarterback Joe Price (JR; Davidson, SC). “Tony Bowling (WR; Millburn, NJ) kept telling me all game long that their safety kept biting on the under, so we decided to give it a shot with the deep attack call.”

The play unfolded just as Bowling predicted with the safety biting on the under and Bowling beating his man for a 64 yard touchdown reception with thirty seconds remaining.

Now it was on to overtime, where the Falcons had to settle for a 34 yard Greg Gore field goal.

Then came the knockout punch. First, a third down conversion by WR Travis Diggs (SO; Chaparral, MI) which gave the Mountaineers a 1st and 10 at the Falcons 15 yard line. Then a 16 yard option keeper by Price for a touchdown to give West Virginia its first ever National Championship and Duane’s fifth in his 22 years as a head coach.

Of all the five titles in 23 seasons as a HC this one was with the lowest ranked team (90 overall) yet they always found a way to win big.

As for the 'nailbiting' I just finished the 2040 season with TWO DRAMATIC GAMES!! write up to come within 48 hours.

West Virginia quarterback Joe Price is mobbed by teammates after leading his team to a dramatic 34-30 win over Oklahoma in the Big 10 championship.

Gamble Pays Off As West Virginia Takes Third Straight Big 10 Championship
Gutsy call on fourth and goal pays off for Mountaineers

                            Dallas (AP) –

West Virginia stunned the Oklahoma Sooners by scoring a touchdown on a fourth and goal gamble with :25 seconds remaining in the game to win 34-30 and in the process take home the 2040 Big 10 championship.

The fact that the Mountaineers were even in that position was extraordinary.

The Sooners jumped out to a 20-0 lead early in the second quarter but it was the Mountaineers who clawed back to make it a 20-17 game at the half.

After Nick Richard (SR; Williamstown, WV) kicked a 38 yard field goal to get West Virginia on the board, the Mountaineers gained momentum with 27 yard interception return for a touchdown by cornerback Grant Reed (SR; Lakewood, OH) and a four yard touchdown run by fullback Aaron Booth (SR; Lochearn, MD) to close the gap.

The Sooners regained a two score lead with a 17 yard touchdown from Lionel Baker (JR; Tulsa, OK) to Kevin Hayden (SO; Evans, GA) in the third quarter.

The teams exchanged field goals in the fourth quarter, giving the Sooners a 30-20 lead with 5:57 remaining.

That’s when the real drama started to unfold.

First, the Mountaineers hit paydirt with 3:21 remaining on a 14 yard touchdown run by running back Todd Mitchell (SR: Nether Providence, PA) to cut the Sooner lead to 30-27.

The Sooners then received the ball and converted a third down with the Mountaineers using their timeouts. With the clock running and facing another third down conversion which would win the game for the Sooners, Baker threw an interception to West Virginia cornerback Shawn Adams (SR; Fort McKinley, OH) to give the ball to the Mountaineers the ball at their own 48 with a 1:36 on the clock.

“Here we are in the biggest game of the season to date and with all of these trophy winners and All-Americans, it’s a JUCO guy who makes a huge play. That’s what you got to love about football – you will never know who will make that play,” said West Virginia head coach KC Duane.

The Mountaineers pushed down the field and to get a first and goal situation at the six with less than a minute left.

                            Then the real drama began.

First and goal, three yard run by Mitchell.

Second and goal, quarterback Joe Price (SR; Davidson, SC) throws it away.

Third and goal, another incompletion in the end zone.

Now faced with a fourth and goal, Duane had a decision to make. Kick the field goal and play for the win in overtime, or go for the win, and in the process, lose a BCS title shot if they failed to convert.

The Mountaineers went empty and with :25 seconds left it was Chase Sykes (FR: Fort Wright, KY) who got to play hero as he Price hit him on a stick route to win the game.

“Was it a tough call? You bet. But if I’m going to gamble, I’m going to do it with the nation’s leading passer in Price and a guy who won it for us all last year,” said Duane.

With the win, the Mountaineers advance to the BCS title game against undefeated #1 Miami (13-0). The Mountaineers earned the berth after #2 Oregon State fell 30-20 to USC in the PAC12 championship game

Miami quarterback Brett Johnson unleashes a pass in the 2041 BCS Championship game. The Hurricanes would defeat the West Virginia Mountaineers 10-7 for the title.

‘Canes score with 1:21 left to scratch out 10-7 win

                                Miami (AP) –

Last year, it was the West Virginia Mountaineers who played the role of heartbreakers in the BCS Championship game beating Air Force 37-34 in overtime. This year the Mountaineers were the ones who suffered heartbreak.

The Miami Hurricanes, playing in front of a boisterous home crowd, defeated the Mountaineers 10-7 in an epic defensive struggle to claim the national championship.

The only offensive touchdown came with 1:21 left in the game when Miami’s Jason Fuller (SR; Coral Gables, FL) hauled in a 33 yard pass from Brett Johnson (JR; Winter Springs, FL) to give the Hurricanes the win.

The only other major occurred in the second quarter when West Virginia linebacker Brendan Davis (SR; Ferndale, MI) returned a fumble for 57 yards to give the Mountaineers a 7-0 half time lead. That lead was cut into by a 22 yard field goal by Miami’s Chris Woods (SO; Bradenton, FL) midway through the third quarter.

The story of the game is how Miami’s defence suffocated the Mountaineers high-powered offence. West Virginia came into the game on a 27 game win streak buoyed this season by an offence averaging 42 points per game with the nation’s leading passer Joe Price (SR; Davidson, SC). But even with their defence providing four turnovers, the Mountaineers were bogged down the entire game.

When it was over, Price and company were shut out, managing just 197 yards total offense and 10 first downs. The loss of guard Kenny Goddard (SR; St. Mary’s, OH) due to NCAA suspension didn’t help matters but West Virginia head coach KC Duane didn’t want to use that as an excuse.

“We didn’t have any answers today. Credit to them. They brought there ‘A’ game while we brought our ‘D’ game on that side of the ball. I’m still trying to figure out what happened to us on offense. As far as Goddard is concerned, yes, he was our anchor as a senior but I really believe that our o-line’s inexperience really showed today. When all your starters are either freshmen or sophomores, you’re playing with fire. Today we got burnt,” stated Duane, whose record in the BCS Championship game dropped to 5-3.
