Denver Broncos John Elway not ready for future without Peyton Manning yet.
10/16/14
Tosha Bull
In 2013 the Denver Broncos took the NFL by storm on their way to a 13-3 record and a trip with Seattle to Super Bowl 48.
We all know how that game ended.
The Broncos looked to rebound after that Super Bowl thrashing this year and were on the right track after a Week 1 blowout over the Colts.
Things looked promising for Denver.
But then something happened. The wheels came off.
Denver fell into a 3 game skid including a blowout loss in the much anticipated SB Rematch in Seattle.
In a Week 5 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Peyton Manning was injured and the Broncos were a loss cause.
Over the 3 game skid, Peyton Manning began to struggle.
Manning now has 12 TD's and 15 INTs for 1,224 yards.
The Broncos sit at 1-3-1 entering Week 7 Sunday Night Football matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.
Manning is out nursing a torn shoulder for 2 weeks and the Broncos hope for his return for a Week 9 matchup against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
In his absence, Denver has turned to Brock Osweiler and Zac Dysert.
General Manager John Elway isn't ready to admit the Broncos are moving on just yet. Manning is 38 years old and is unsure on if he's retiring or not.
"We're not ready to talk about the future without Peyton just yet." Elway stated. "He's still our Quarterback. We're focusing on this year right now and how to win some games."Comment

The Jets Defense made Brady miserable all game long.
"It was a rough game for us but you have to give them credit for executing." Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady stated.
Tom Brady was pedestrian all night. Finishing 12/35 for a Touchdown, 2 picks and just 164 yards.

ATLANTA FALCONS a complete mess. Changes could be coming by January?
October 16, 2014
Written by: Pamela Estes
The story of the 2014 Atlanta Falcons can be summed up in just one word. "Stale."
The Falcons sit at 2-5 after a blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Maryland.
"I've been very disappointed with the way this Football team has been playing this year." Falcons Owner Arthur Blank stated.
The Falcons finished 2013 with a 4-12 record and looked to improve.
"We're a mess. We have to get back to the fundamentals of Falcons football." Head Coach Mike Smith stated.
Smith is signed through the 2015 Season but if the Falcons fail to make the playoffs, changes could be coming for the team.
The Falcons have not made the playoffs since 2012 where they lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship.Comment

Washington Redskins Quarterback Robert Griffin III leaves Washington with more questions than answers following 3rd Injury of 2014.
10/16/14
Patti Lovelette
In 2012 the Washington Redskins selected Baylor Quarterback RG3 with the 2nd Overall Pick. The Redskins then took QB Kirk Cousins in the 4th Round.
This left many eyebrows raised.
The Redskins we're committed to Griffin III to be the guy.
The Redskins had a good 2012 Campaign, a 10-6 record, a East Title, and a Playoff game. A loss to the Seattle Seahawks in which RG3 tore his knee.
It's been an issue since with Griffin III. A injury after another.
2014 was no different. A dislocated elbow in a Pre-Season game left Robert on the sidelines as Quarterback Kirk Cousins took over the reigns in a new Jay Gruden System.
A couple games later and Griffin III was again on the turf dislocating the same elbow in a blowout loss to the Eagles.
Griffin III was scheduled to miss the next few games. He returned in the Cardinals loss in which he broke his thumb and is now out missing the next few games.
This marks the 3rd time this year he has been hurt.
Despite all this, Redskins Organization has already stated that RG3 is still "The guy."
However with the amount of injuries piling up on the once promising QB, Washington might be forced to stick with Kirk Cousins as "The Guy.".Comment

"They we're well prepared for us." Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll stated.
The Defending Champions fell but kept up with their Division rivals in the shootout.

RECAP
Indianapolis, IN- Head Coach Marvin Lewis stood at the podium with a smile on his face.
"It wasn't pretty but we got the W." Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis stated.
The Bengals(4-2) beat the Colts(3-4) 20-16 today off some ugly performances by both teams.
The first half was Field Goals as the two traded kicks.
The Colts took a 9-6 lead heading into Halftime.
"A lot was going wrong for us today. We couldn't get the gas going and found ourselves sputtering through the end." Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano stated.

The Indianapolis Colts(3-4) are trying to keep their head above water with QB Andrew Luck nursing a Broken Collarbone, and QB Matt Hasselbeck nursing a shoulder.
