BROWNS fall flat on their face in 23-14 loss to BUCCANEERS...

    RECAP

Cleveland, OH- The Cleveland Browns(5-3) stumbled out of the gates today when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers(7-1) stormed their way to a 23-14 win.

"We stumbled today and just couldn't get going." Browns Head Coach Mike Pettine stated.

QB Brian Hoyer struggled to throw the ball against Tampa's secondary completing just 33% of his passes for 156 yards and a pick. His first of the year.

Cleveland finished the game with 4 turnovers.

"Too many turnovers for us. Cost us a chance." Browns Offensive Coordinator Kyle Shanahan stated.

Bucs QB Josh McCown had 156 yards and 2 Touchdowns.

Tampa never turned the ball over once.

"We played great today. A team as hot as the Browns right now we did very well." Buccaneers Head Coach Lovie Smith stated.

Tampa Bay has now won 7 straight. Cleveland had their 5 game streak snapped.

The Arizona Cardinals head into "Jerry's World" with the League's #1 Defense. The "Ball Hawking" Defense will look to make life miserable for Tony Romo and the Cowboys who are unbeaten at home. The last time Dallas faced a elite defense they we're blown out in Seattle 43-7.
The Cardinals dominated the Eagles 37-3 last week off their Ball hawking Defense in which they forced 6 Eagle turnovers. Arizona will look to win their 6th straight. Their Offense is ranked 30th with QB Carson Palmer playing "Game Manager". Their run game and Defense has been lights out in winning.

COWBOYS no match for CARDINALS in 51-17 loss in Dallas....

            RECAP

Arlington, TX- For the second time this year, the Dallas Cowboys(7-2) faced an elite Defense.

This time it was the #1 Defense the Ball hawking Arizona Cardinals(7-1).

And it was a disaster for "Jerry's World."

"Just absolutely terrible to watch. Bad performance by us." Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones stated.

The Boyz' found out first hand how great Arizona's Defense really is as the Ball hawking Cardinals forced 5 Dallas turnovers.

3 of them we're Tony Romo's picks who struggled to throw the ball vs Arizona.

"Turning the ball over that many times is just horrendous. Especially against a great team like Arizona. They really made us pay today." Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett stated.

"We've been playing great Defense all year and I'm really proud of the way these guys have been playing." Cardinals Defensive Coordinator Todd Bowles stated.

He's really making a case for himself as a future Head Coach in the NFL.

The Cowboys(7-2) took a 10-0 lead in the first before Arizona(7-1) stormed back to tie it at 17-17 at the half.

In the second half however, it was all Arizona. The Cards raced out to a 34-0 second half just dominating the Boyz.

Romo's 3 picks we're by Tyrann Matthieu. Daryl Washington, and Tony Jefferson.

"Throwing picks instead of Touchdowns is no way of winning games." Romo said.

Romo finished the game with a TD, 3 picks, 208 yards and a rating of 30.0.

It was a bad day for him. Another game vs an elite Defense with multiple picks.

Who can forget the Cowboys Week 6 43-7 blowout loss in Seattle.

"Great win for us against a great team like Dallas." Cardinals Head Coach Bruce Arians stated.

QB Carson Palmer finished the day with 304 yards and 2 Touchdowns. The Cards never turned the ball over once.

"When you don't turn the ball over you win games. We did that today." Cardinals Bruce Arians stated.

Offensive Coordinator Harold Goodwin was all smiles as the Cardinals posted 51 points.

Arizona(7-1) relied on their Running Game Jonathan Dwyer who's made life easier for Carson Palmer.

Dwyer had 172 yards and 3 TD's off just 18 carries. He broke through for a huge 59 yard run to kick off the second half.

Cowboys Demarco Murray had 24 carries, 123 yards and a TD. But a fumble against the Cards Defense stopped the momentum.

The Cardinals hard hitting Ball hawking Defense forced 2 fumbles against the Cowboys. One was by Dez Bryant.

Bryant had 7 catches, 115 yards and a Score.

But Dallas still had 550 yards today as Arizona finished the day with 547.

Arizona has now won 5 straight.

ARIZONA CARDINALS: Are they a Contender in the NFC??

              Written by: Todd Franklin

              11/2/14

Last year in 2013, the Arizona Cardinals hired Indianapolis Colts Offensive Coordinator Bruce Arians to be their next Head Coach.

Arizona finished the 2013 Season with a 10-6 record but failed to make the playoffs with San Francisco and New Orleans taking the NFC Wildcards.

Now with a year under his belt, the Cardinals sit in first place in the NFC West with a 7-1 record and #3 in the NFC behind Tampa Bay(7-1) and Dallas(7-1).

Now in 2014, the Cardinals rank #1 in Defense and have been making noise this year. The Ball hawking hard hitting Defense ranks 4th overall in Yards allowed, 3rd in Pass Defense, 18th in Run Defense, 1st in Points allowed. And they rank first in Interceptions with 23.

Arizona is also first in forced Fumbles with 15.

Defensive Coordinator Todd Bowles and Head Coach Bruce Arians has done a masterful job at creating such a monsterous Defense.

Arizona hasn't had much of a test in the West yet. They still have the Seahawks to face twice and the Rams twice. And a Week 17 game in San Francisco.

The Cardinals beat the 49ers in Week 4 27-14 in which they forced the 9ers to turn the ball over 6 times.

The Cardinals just might be for real and a threat in the NFC. How they handle the NFC West will determine how they handle the playoffs.

              Time will tell....

                  Game Notes
After a 3-5 start, Head Coach Bill O'Brien has made TE Coach John Perry the new Offensive Coordinator. This week when the Birds come to NRG Stadium, the Texans will get a new Offense to try out. The Eagles we're crushed last week in Arizona when they gave up 6 turnovers thanks to that Ball hawking Defense. Head Coach Chip Kelly has made the decision to start Mark Sanchez at QB but if any signs of struggle then Kelly may once again bench Sanchez.

                  Eagles Offense: 24
                  Eagles Defense: 6

                  Texans Offense: 31
                  Texans Defense: 26

                    Sanchez EAGLES crush TEXANS 38-13!

                    RECAP

Houston, TX- It was the first game under New Offensive Coordinator John Perry. Although the Houston Texans(3-6) didn't put much points on the board, QB Case Keenum looked like a solid Quarterback finishing the day with 323 yards and a Touchdown.

"First game in a new plan. We looked good for how we played I thought." Perry said.

The running game needs some work however. Texans RB Arian Foster had only 30 yards off 8 carries.

"We may of lost today but I feel good moving forward with our new plan." Texans Head Coach Bill O'Brien stated.

He relinquished Offensive Playcalling to John Perry last week.

The Eagles(4-4) finished with 583 Total Yards while RB Shady McCoy had 151 yards off 13 carries and 2 Touchdowns.

The NFL's leading rusher left before Halftime with a broken collarbone and will be placed on the IR.

"Huge blow to our run game. Thankfully we got some other studs in our backfield." Eagles Head Coach Chip Kelly stated.

Darren Sproles took over RB duties and racked up 122 yards and a Touchdown.

Mark Sanchez had a Touchdown and 207 yards. He fumbled on a drive.

"Need to take better care of holding onto the football." Sanchez said.

The Eagles Defense sacked Keenum 4 times.

Next week, the Eagles(4-4) get Nick Foles back.

The New York Jets have found new life in 2014 when they invited QB John David Booty to Training Camp. After Smith's injury, Booty was named the Starter and it probably saved Rex Ryan his job as the Jets are 5-2-1. They face a tough challenge when they head to Chiefs Kingdom and battle Kansas City.

JETS crash and burn in 45-10 blowout loss to CHIEFS...

                          RECAP

Kansas City, MO- The New York Jets(5-3-1) we're looking like Playoff Contenders weeks ago when they knocked off the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football.

"We we're flying high there for a couple weeks. We we're humbled today." Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan stated.

The Jets(5-3-1) we're blown out by the Chiefs(7-1) 45-10 and Ryan's crew never got anything going.

QB Michael Vick was hurt by Halftime and the Jets determined that Vick will miss the next 5 games with an Abdomen Tear.

This marks the 3rd Jets QB to be missing time behind Smith and Booty.

Booty will be back in two weeks however.

The Chiefs(7-1) Defense absolutely crushed the Jets today as RB Chris Johnson was held to just 48 yards and 15 carries. He did get a TD.

"It was awful. We just flatlined right out of the gate." Ryan said.

Chiefs Jamaal Charles was chasing history today but finished short with 258 yards and 2 Touchdowns.

"We did everything well today. Great performance by us. Very proud of this team." Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid stated.

Backup QB Chase Daniel who is filling in for the hurt Alex Smith had 191 yards and 3 Touchdowns.

The Jets turned to Rookie QB Cody Fajardo to fill in in the second half. He finished the day with just 66 yards and a pick.

The Jets had 4 turnovers in the loss.

I was the Jets for this game. Yeah coming in at 5-2-1 I was feeling pretty confident that the Jets might make playoffs. I knew KC would be a tough game with how well their defense has been this year.

Yeah it was. I absolutely couldn't get anything going. The run game was shut down from the get go. Vick and Fajardo struggled to pass the ball. And the Jets Defense was absolutely ran over by Charles and Daniel lmao.
