    49ERS win 4th straight, beat SAINTS 36-26...

    RECAP

New Orleans, LA- Rocking a 4 game winning streak, the San Francisco 49ers(6-3) took another step closer today in reaching the Playoffs yet again.

The New Orleans Saints(4-5) who fell below .500 again was dealt another blow to their playoff chances.

"Still have time to right the ship but we can't afford too many more losses. Especially with how the NFC is this year." Saints Head Coach Sean Payton said.

The theme today was Offense. Neither Defense could find answers to shutting each other down.

Drew Brees was Drew Brees, lighting up the 49ers Secondary for 340 yards and 2 Touchdowns.

Kaepernick answered right back with 237 yards and 3 Touchdowns. He also rushed for 50 yards and a score.

"Had to do whatever we could against them, New Orleans is a tough team to play against. " 49ers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh stated.

Neither team had a single turnover.

Frank Gore had 97 yards and a score. The 9ers Defense held Pierre Thomas to just 37 yards killing the run game.

"We stopped the run game well but failed against the pass. Drew (Brees) is an all time great." 49ers Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio stated.

2 of Kaepernick's Touchdowns we're to rookie Jerry Rice Jr.

The 9ers sacked Brees 4 times 2 by Aldon Smith who is leading the league.

"Need to be better at protecting our Quarterback." Payton added.

The 9ers racked up 524 yards Total to Saints 360.

From a 0-3 start, the Tennessee Titans have climbed their way to a 4-4 record and first place in the AFC South. Despite losing Joe Flacco on Opening Sunday, the Ravens kept their heads above water rallying behind backup QB Tyrod Taylor who got the Ravens to a 4-4 record. Flacco struggled in his first game back last week. Head Coach John Harbaugh was getting a pass for a rough year and now the Black Birds are 4-5 and on the verge of being dealt a blow to their playoff hopes.

Locker leads TITANS to 4th straight win 23-6 over RAVENS...

          RECAP

Baltimore, MD- The Tennessee Titans(5-4) are getting hot at the right time, winning 4 in a row and leading the lowly AFC South. The Titans beat the Ravens(4-6) 23-6 today at MT Bank Stadium.

The Ravens never got anything going with Quarterback Joe Flacco struggling in his second game back from injury.

Flacco threw 202 yards with no Touchdowns and picks. The Ravens failed to get in the endzone and only managed 2 FG's by Justin Tucker.

Jake Locker had 271 yards with 2 Touchdowns and no picks.

"We've been hot lately and we need to keep winning to get to where we want to go." Titans Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt stated.

The Titans Defense came to play. They stuffed Ray Rice and held him to 16 yards off 10 carries, and kept Baltimore out of the End Zone.

"Proud of our guys on Defense they really stepped up today." Titans Defensive Coordinator Ray Horton stated.

The Ravens(4-6) we're dead in the water from the start. They only managed 10 first downs all game.

          The Titans(5-4) had 22.

"We just weren't on our game today. Need to fix that." Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh stated.

The Ravens didn't even crack 200 yards Offensively today (179.)

          Tennessee had 389.

The Titans sit in first place with a 5-4 record and depending how the rest of the Division does, Tennessee will be sole holder of First.

The Jets have had a few bumps in the road with 3 Quarterbacks on the shelf. Today Rookie Cody Fajardo will get his first NFL start and the Jets will need him to finish the game without getting hurt. If this happens, Rex Ryan will be forced to finish the game with a Punter handing the ball off to Running backs. Gang Green has not signed another Quarterback with Booty returning next week. The Steelers are 5-4 and are looking to get back into the Playoff hunt and we all know what Roethlisberger does when the Steelers lose games.

JETS bounce back, survive STEELERS 42-31....

              RECAP

East Rutherford, NJ- After a embarrassing loss last week to the Kansas City Chiefs, the New York Jets(6-3-1) needed a rebound.

              Today they did that.

But it wasn't an easy task.

Today's Game was against the Pittsburgh Steelers(5-5) who fell to .500 and are in a tough spot as far as Playoffs.

But there's still 6 games left and anything can happen.

The Jets needed a spark and they got it in Cornerback Dee Milliner. Milliner picked off Roethlisberger's first pass of the game and took it to the house for a Pick 6 putting the Jets up 7-0 right off the bat.

Roethlisberger had 3 turnovers today as he went 345 yards, 3 Touchdowns, 2 picks, and lost a fumble.

The Steelers(5-5) had 4 turnovers today with each time the Jets(6-3-1) put up points.

But the Steelers wouldn't go down easy as it was a 28-21 Jets halftime shootout lead.

"I ran my routes but we turned the ball over and it sucked." Antonio Brown said.

Roethlisberger wasted no time in once again causing drama in the Steelers locker room.

"I did my job. I don't play defense. They allowed 42 points. Maybe the receivers should do their job too." Big Ben stated.

He's been known to throw his teammates under the bus after a loss. Things got ugly in Week 2 Thursday Night Football's loss to the Raven where Ben had 4 interceptions and proceeded to air "Team Dirty Laundry" on his radio show.

"Everybody's upset we lost. The team needs to stick together and that starts with our Quarterback. " Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin said.

Other Steelers Players are voicing their opinions on the situation.

"We need to run our routes? Dude you threw 2 Interceptions. You just suck at reading Defenses sometimes." Antonio Brown stated.

We can expect Ben to be throwing people under the bus on his Radio Show tomorrow.

The Jets(6-3-1) was down to their 4th string Quarterback, Rookie Cody Fajardo. Fajardo was a monster with Chris Johnson failing to do anything in the run game.

Johnson struggled for the second week in a row running the ball finishing with just 64 yards off 24 carries. He did cross the goal line.

"We had no running game and we we're forced to keep passing the ball. I hated it but thankfully it worked out for us." Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan stated.

Fajardo was up to the challenge. He had 383 yards 5 Touchdowns and a pick.

What a performance for his first NFL start.

"I was ready for when the team needed me." Fajardo stated.

He threw 2 TD's to Rookie WR Colton Cruise, Eric Decker, Rookie TE Mark Walker, and David Nelson.

The Jets Defense also sacked Roethlisberger 7 times with Sheldon Richardson picking up 2.

"Need to protect our QB much better. Allowing him to be sacked many times like that is not a good thing. Need to be much better." Tomlin said.

The Steelers(5-5) sit in a tough spot right now but still have time to clean up their mistakes and clinch a Playoff spot.

It's going to be a uphill battle with the drama going on in the locker room.

The Atlanta Falcons will look to snap their 4 game skid when they travel to Tampa to face the red hot Buccaneers. The Bucs are on a 7 game winning streak and have already beat the Falcons 27-24 on a Thursday Night game back in Week 3. It's no secret that Mike Smith may be fired by Season's end so a winning streak now may give him some cushion to keep his job. Tampa Bay however is red hot and Josh McCown is looking like a legit Quarterback in Lovie Smith's system and has Tampa poised to make the playoffs for the first time since 2007. The Falcons missed the playoffs last year after a NFC Championship appearence in 2012, a loss to the 49ers. Matt Ryan and the Dirty Birds are struggling as it appears that Mike Smith's System has gone stale.

FALCONS struggle, lose 5th straight. Hand BUCCANEERS their 8th straight win in 23-15 loss in Tampa....

                          RECAP

Tampa, FL- There are many sayings in the NFL that Coaches, Players, Fans, and the media all use.

"Defense wins Championships." "Any Given Sunday." Etc.

But the one that's fitting for today's game is the notorious "Division Games are always the hardest."

Today that was the case. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers(8-1) swept the Falcons(2-7) and handed them their 5th straight loss while in the process of winning their 8th straight game.

But it wasn't pretty. At all.

"Yeah it was a Division Game after all and they know you better than everyone else." Falcons Head Coach Mike Smith stated.

Quarterback Matt Ryan struggled finishing the day 16/35 for 257 yards 2 Touchdowns and 2 Interceptions.

"We've been bad this year and the things we did before ain't working anymore." Ryan stated.

It's no secret that Mike Smith's System has gone stale in Atlanta. So bad that the Offense struggles to score points and Matt Ryan has 13 Touchdowns to 7 Interceptions heading into Week 11.

It's been rumored that Smith will be gone by January and a change in the Falcons Organization is coming.

Offensive Coordinator Dirk Koetter is doing his best in Smith's System.

"It's a rough year for us for sure. We still got some football left so we need to focus on winning some games." Koetter stated.

Atlanta(2-7) finished the day with 269 yards of Offense. Tampa(8-1) had 300.

Josh McCown had 196 yards and a Touchdown as the Bucs never turned the ball over once.

Both teams failed in the run game with Doug Martin having 26 carries and 60 yards. Jackson had 29 yards and 10 carries.

"We couldn't get the running game going and that leaves us one dimensional." Buccaneers Head Coach Lovie Smith stated.

Both teams did not have a 100 yard receiver.

"Divisional Games are like chess. You know each other so well." Smith said.

Ryan was sacked 5 times while McCown wasn't.

The Falcons Offense was so stale that they only converted on 3rd Down twice while Tampa Bay converted at will. (10.)

"Failed to get conversions and we needed them. We we're dead in the water." Falcons Head Coach Mike Smith stated.

At (2-7), the Atlanta Falcons should start looking towards the future because Smith's System has gone stale.

ATLANTA FALCONS Matt Ryan: "We need changes but Mike Smith has our support."

The Atlanta Falcons 2014 Season just might be one of the worst in Franchise history. After a 23-15 loss earlier today, the Falcons have dropped to 2-7 on the year. They currently sit in 3rd Place in the NFC South just above the equally struggling Carolina Panthers(1-8).

"We welcome changes and a new direction for this team but Coach Smith has our support." Falcons Quarterback Matt Ryan stated in a interview after the loss.

Owner Arthur Blank has made it known that changes will probably be coming after the 2014 campaign ends and it's widely speculated that Head Coach Mike Smith may be fired.

"We've been having a rough time this year and nothing seems to be working anymore. We need to take a long hard look at ourselves." Smith stated.

The Falcons will be eliminated from the Playoff race rather soon if they can't snap their 5 game skid. However a 9-7 finish won't be enough for a Wild Card spot given how the NFC Race looks.

This just might be what the Dr. ordered for the Denver Broncos to turn their season around. A game against the lowly Oakland Raiders who are struggling worse than Denver. Head Coach Dennis Allen has named Matt Schaub his starter after he got healthy and returned this week. Denver's Peyton Manning has been absolutely horrible this year and is leading the league in INTs. The Broncos will look to turn things around and get their 2nd win of the year.
