    2015 MIAMI DOLPHINS PREVIEW

"Dawn of a new ERA... The Mike McCarthy ERA.."

SOUTH BEACH- The Miami Dolphins are entering a new ERA in 2015. The Mike McCarthy ERA..

Former Head Coach Joe Philbin was kicked to the curb after the Dolphins 7-9 Season last year. Owner Stephen Ross made it clear that he was firing Philbin in favor of disgraced Packers Mike McCarthy who made plenty of headlines in Green Bay last year. The most notorious one was over Thanksgiving Weekend when McCarthy was spotted in Miami having a meeting with Dolphins Owner Stephen Ross for a job next year. It was soon announced that Ross planned to hire McCarthy for the 2015 campaign and signed his new Head Coach after the Season ended when he was fired along with Dom Capers who followed him to South Beach. Due to McCarthy's meeting however he will be suspended for the first 4 Games of the year and will miss the Dolphins Primetime NFL Kickoff on Thursday Night Week 1 when Miami travels to New England. QB Coach Zac Taylor has been named the interim. McCarthy has kept majority of Philbins Staff.

Executive Vice President of Football Operations: Don Shula

    General Manager: Dennis Hickey(2nd Year)

    Head Coach: Mike McCarthy(1st Year)

In just 10 Games with injury Tannehill had just 12 Touchdowns to 4 picks for 1,904 yards. However McCarthy and Taylor both stated they are all in with Tanny at Quarterback.

Michael Vick's younger brother Marcus Vick(10 Touchdowns, 8 picks, 1,292 yards) and Matt Moore return and also Tyler Van Tubbergen round out Zac Taylor's QB Room.

Knowshon Moreno(1,495 yards and 10 Touchdowns) will lead the backfield along with Lamar Miller, Chris Robinson, and Rookie Justice Riley out of Louisiana Tech. Knowing McCarthy's reputation, Miami should run the ball a lot this year.

Tanny's Weapons returns, Mike Wallace(927 yards, 7 Touchdowns.) Corey Powell(742 Yards and 7 Touchdowns.) Jarvis Landry will look to step forward after just 1 Catch for 11 yards his Rookie year last year. TE Tyler Doss(549 Yards and 3 Touchdowns.)

Left Tackle Branden Albert(8 Sacks allowed) Shelley Smith(8 Sacks allowed), New Center Dominic Raiola(5 Sacks allowed in Detroit last year) Mike Pouncey(5 Sacks allowed) Dallas Thomas and Ja'Wuan James will look to keep Ryan Tannehill upright this year.

      "Healing the Broken Wings.."

PHILLY- The Eagles had hopes of clinching their second straight East Division Title but injuries to Nick Foles, Shady McCoy, Arrelious Benn, etc doomed them. However Foles returned to keep the Birds above water and Philly limped to the finish line with a 8-8 Record as the hated Cowboys took the East much to the dismay of the fans and players in Philadelphia. Now with a new year on the horizon, Foles will look to get Philly back in the Playoffs but he's entering the last year of his Rookie Contract from the 2012 Draft.

      General Manager: Howie Roseman(6th Year)

      Head Coach: Chip Kelly(3rd Year)

When Foles went down last year, Philly turned to Mark Sanchez(1,038 yards, 5 Touchdowns, 6 picks) and Rookie Carson Wentz(96 yards, 0 Touchdowns, 2 picks) General Manager resigned Sanchez to a 1 year 1 million Deal) and locked up Wentz on a 3 Year/10m Contract) in case Foles goes down again. Kicker Alex Henery 86%)

ATLANTA FALCONS: Hire Notre Dame Quarterbacks Coach Matt LaFleur for same position...

        7/14/15

        Written By: Adam Schefter

As new Falcons Head Coach Dan Quinn begins to finalize his new Staff for Training Camp and beyond, Notre Dame QB Coach Matt LaFleur has officially been hired for the Atlanta Falcons.

LaFleur is no stranger to the NFL as he spent time with the Washington Redskins as their Quarterbacks Coach from 2010-2013. He comes off a branch of the Shanahan Coaching Tree where he was mentored by close friend Kyle Shanahan's Father, Mike.

In Atlanta he will be working with Franchise Quarterback Matt Ryan who had 4,311 yards, 25 Touchdowns, and 12 picks this last Season where the Falcons struggled bad on Offense and won just 4 Games.

Head Coach Mike Smith was fired and new Head Coach Dan Quinn was hired and continues to finalize his Staff.

              "Learning to Fly again..."

HOTLANTA- The 2014 Atlanta Falcons were a mess to begin with. Head Coach Mike Smith's system finally got stale and the "Dirty Birds" finished with a 4-12 Record in which Falcons Owner Arthur Blank finally had enough and fired Smith after a Week 16 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Franchise Quarterback Matt Ryan and the Falcons struggled to score points and the Defense was left out to dry.
Now with former Seahawks Defensive Coordinator Dan Quinn at the helm, Atlanta will look to learn how to fly high again..

              General Manager: Thomas Dimitroff(8th Year)

              Head Coach: Dan Quinn(1st Year)

              Offensive Coordinator: Dirk Koetter(4th Year)

Offensive Assistant Coach: Mike LaFleur(1st Year)

Special Teams Coordinator: Keith Armstrong(8th Year)

Franchise Quarterback Matt Ryan will look to rebound after a stale Offense last year. Yet he still had 4,311 yards with 25 Touchdowns and 12 picks. He'll have a new QB Coach in Matt LaFleur as the Falcons usher in the Dan Quinn ERA. Sean Renfree and Cody Kessler return to the QB Room.

Dirk Koetter's Offense returns Steven Jackson(1,116 yards, 9 Touchdowns.) Devonta Freeman will also look to step forward in his second year.

Ryan's arsenal of Receivers Julio Jones(1,366 yards, 9 Touchdowns.) Jones was given the Franchise Tag in the Off-Season and will be looking for a pay day come next Off-Season. Roddy White(933 yards, 6 Touchdowns) 2nd Year men Victor Brown(1,009 yards, 5 Touchdowns.) Conrad McDonald(102 yards, 2 Touchdowns.) and TE Bear Pascoe and Austin Hooper. Not to mention the most explosive Return Man in history, Devin Hester.

Veteran Left Tackle Sam Baker(9 Sacks allowed) will anchor the blindside for Matt Ryan. Clint Boling(5 Blocks/1 Sack allowed) Joe Hawley(3 Blocks/2 Sacks allowed.) Jon Asamoah(8 Sacks allowed) and Jake Matthews(4 Blocks and 5 Sacks allowed.) will round out the Offensive Line..

Atlanta will have no PRIMETIME GAMES in Quinn's first year. Week 9 BYE..

                2015 SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS PREVIEW

                "The Gold Rush Continues..."

SANTA CLARA- The 49ers were once again dominant in Jim Harbaughs System. San Francisco clinched their 4th straight Playoff Birth with a 12-4 Record and the #5 Seed in the Playoffs. The 9ers battled all year long for the West Division Title with Arizona and their hated rivals, the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle clinched and San Fran took the Wildcard. However the 49ers suffered their earliest Playoff exit in the Harbaugh ERA. They were shut out 31-0 on Wildcard Weekend by the Dallas Cowboys. Kaepernick and the Offense struggled to move the ball as Fangio's Defense was constantly on the field. Now the 9ers will look to continue their quest and make yet another Playoff run for the Super Bowl.

                General Manager: Trent Baalke(5th Year)

                Head Coach: Jim Harbaugh(5th Year)

Assistant Head Coach: Eric Mangini(3rd Year)

                Offensive Coordinator: Greg Roman(5th Year)

                Quarterbacks Coach: Geep Chryst(5th Year)

                Defensive Coordinator: Vic Fangio(5th Year)

Defensive Assistant Coach: Jim Tomsula(9th Year)

Special Teams Coordinator: Brad Seely(5th Year)

Harbaugh's Playbook and system revolves around Franchise QB Colin Kaepernick. Kap proved he was worth the monster 7 year/126m Contract he was given by Baalke after the 2013 Season. Kaepernick had possibly his best Season yet in 2014 where he threw 3,047 yards, 30 Touchdowns, 8 picks and a 107.3 Rating while picking up 1,070 yards and 11 scores on the ground.

Now Kaepernick will be joined by Aaron Rodgers backup Matt Flynn on a one year deal and the 9ers also Joe Montana's kid Nate on the Roster as well. Blaine Gabbert left in Free Agency.

Franchise Legend Frank Gore(1,916 yards and 14 Touchdowns.) returns after signing a new 3 year deal. Carlos Hyde, Marcus Lattimore and FB Bruce Miller return in the backfield.

Kaepernick's Weapons will consist of Jerry Rice JR (616 yards and 6 TDs) Anquan Boldin(762 yards and 6 TDs) along with Calvin Ridley, Stevie Johnson , and Brandon Lloyd. TE Vernon Davis(588 yards and 9 TDs) will help in the passing game.

Veteran Left Tackle Joe Staley will look to bounce back after allowing 20 sacks alone last year. Mike Iupati(7 Sacks allowed) new Centers Marcus Martin and Dallas Reynolds. Alex Boone(3 Sacks Allowed) Anthony Davis(14 Sacks allowed) will look to anchor the Offensive Line and keep Kaepernick from having to run under pressure.

But we all know the 49ers are known for that great Harbaugh and Fangio Defense. Vics Unit is a monster and returns Ray McDonald(10 Sacks) Veteran Justin Smith(12 Sacks) hard hitting Linebackers Ahmad Brooks(11 Sacks) Patrick Willis(101 Tackles) Navorro Bowman(85 Tackles) and NFL ALL TIME Sack Leader in a Season, Aldon Smith(30 Sacks)

In the Secondary, the 49ers will have Alan Ball who signed a 1 year deal(1 pick in Jacksonville last year) Tramaine Brock, Chris Cook, Perrish Cox.

Safeties Eric Reid(5 picks) Antoine Bethea(72 Tackles)

Veteran Kicker Phil Dawson retired so Zach Hocker was signed to a 1 year Deal.

                Punter Andy Lee returns.

The 49ers will see 7 PRIMETIME GAMES this year with a Week 4 BYE.

Week 3 SNF @ Russell Wilson Seahawks.
Week 7 MNF @ Jay Cutler Bears
Week 9 SNF @ Carson Palmer Cardinals
Week 11 MNF @ Andy Dalton Bengals
Week 13 SNF VS Russell Wilson Seahawks
Week 16 MNF @ Johnny Manziel Browns
Week 17 SNF VS Aaron Rodgers Packers

The 49ers will close out the 2015 Regular Season on Sunday Night Football against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.

                  2015 NEW YORK GIANTS PREVIEW

"The Coughlin ERA is set to begin..."

JERSEY- The New York Giants will go down in NFL History as one of the Teams to have a epic collapse in a season. After blowing a 27-0 lead in Detroit to the Lions on Opening Sunday, New York raced out to a 4-1 Record and looked to return to the Playoffs for the first time since their 2011 Super Bowl Run. However the G-Men collapsed and faltered to a 7-9 finish resulting in Head Coach Tom Coughlin to step down and retire into the Giants Front Office becoming the new General Manager. The Giants missed the Playoffs for the 3rd year in a row resulting in massive changes by the organization. Jerry Reese, Defensive Coordinator Perry Fewell were fired and Tom Coughlin went to work. He hired Cardinals DC Todd Bowles as new Head Coach after former Falcons Head Coach Mike Smith refused the offer. Offensive Coordinator Ben McAdoo stayed in place as Manning had a good year. Steve Spagnuolo returns to Jersey as Defensive Coordinator.

                  General Manager: Tom Coughlin(1st Year)

                  Head Coach: Todd Bowles(1st Year)

                  Offensive Coordinator: Ben McAdoo(2nd Year)

Offensive Assistant Coach: Kevin M. Gilbride(6th Year)

Franchise QB Eli Manning(4,046 Yards, 30 Touchdowns, 16 picks, 95.2 Rating) will look to add ring #3 to his Career as the Giants look to bounce back after missing the Playoffs for the past 3 years. Jerry Reese is out the door and Tom Coughlin has taken over. Manning is entering the final year of his 7 year/100m Contract. The 34 year old Super Bowl Champion will try to get his Giants back to the Super Bowl. Matt Johnson and Ryan Nassib round out the QB Room.

Rashad Jennings(1,081 yards, 10 TDs) will lead the backfield with Michael Cox(6 TDs) and David Wilson.

McAdoo's Offense welcomes back Victor Cruz(1,299 yards and 12 Touchdowns.) Odell Beckham JR(5 TDs) along with Steve Shepherd, Rueben Randle and Mario Manningham. GM Tom Coughlin added to Eli's arsenal luring Jimmy Graham(1,201 yards and 7 Touchdowns in New Orleans last year) from the Saints to a 7 year/56m Deal.

Last year Eli Manning was sacked 63 times, the most in his Career. To counter this, Coughlin signed Left Tackle Nate Solder to a 7 year Deal. Solder had 20 blocks and only allowed 8 Sacks last year in New England where the Patriots won the Super Bowl.

Jags need to clean house after the season if the team is sub .500 again. Don't want to waste the early years of franchise QB Blake Bortles to subpar coaching.

Yeah the question is can Bortles stay healthy? Bradleys Staff ain't all that great either.

Also Madden scheduling is weird. 5 straight Home Games to kick off the year?

Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones has high expectations for his Football Team.

"Absolutely we have huge expectations. We got close last year but fell short there in Seattle. I really felt like we were going to the Super Bowl. I feel like this year we could get there absolutely." Jones stated.

The Cowboys went 11-5 winning their first NFC East Title since 2009. In the Playoffs they upset the 49ers in the Wildcard Round, upset the Buccaneers in the Divisional before falling in Seattle to the Seahawks in the NFC Championship.

NEW YORK JETS: Make history in Full Time Female Coach...

Plenty of Women across the globe have been fans of the National Football League. Some even helped out in the pee-wee leagues.

But no Woman has ever been a Coach of any kind in the NFL.

                              Until now...

The New York Jets have officially promoted Kathryn Smith to Assistant Head Coach on Rex Ryan's Staff heading into the 2015 NFL Season.

Smith was with the Jets since 2003 before spending the 2014 Season as a Administrative Assistant.

Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan has officially promoted Smith to Assistant Coach today as Gang Green heads into Training Camp.

"It's an honor and a dream. Being able to cross that barrier where Women can actually Coach and help with NFL Teams. It's such a great thing to happen. " Smith stated.

Earlier, the Cincinnati Bengals made Katie Blackburn the General Manager.

It's a trend happening now where NFL Teams could start promoting Women in their ranks.

"Kathryn has been phenomenal she really has. Her attention to detail and love for the game of Football has really caught our attention. We're very excited that we were able to give her that promotion and help her achieve that dream and to make history in this great league of ours. We're excited to have her on our Staff and see what she can do for us and what she brings to the table." Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan stated.

                                2015 NEW YORK JETS PREVIEW

                                "Get Ready to Fly..."

NEW JERSEY- In 2014, many people speculated could mean the end of the Rex Ryan ERA for Gang Green. The Jets have missed the Playoffs the past 3 years and if New York missed last year Ryan would probably be out of a job. In Pre-Season QB Geno Smith tore his achillies and was placed on Season Ending IR. This left even more question marks around Ryans job security. However the Jets found a beacon of hope in Quarterback John David Booty. Booty who was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2008 Draft saw no NFL action. He eventually left the NFL after trying out for the Titans and Texans. Ryan invited Booty to Training Camp and it served wonders after Smith went down. The Jets returned to the Playoffs for the first time since 2010 while rallying behind Booty. Despite losing on Wildcard Weekend to the Titans, Rex Ryan's job was safe. For another year. He was given a one year deal to prove 2014 was no fluke. In 2015 Ryan could be Coaching for his Job. If he wants to stay in Jersey, he'll need to duplicate another Playoff Run....Booty will also have help as former QB Michael Vick and Safety Ed Reed both retired this Off-Season and will join Ryan's Coaching Staff a long with the first Female Coach ever, Kathryn Smith..
