    Re: ~~Lords of the Gridiron~~

    A/N: With life going on this Season I decided to do a Top 10 Power Rankings to recap the first 7 Weeks of the 2015 Season.

    1.New England Patriots(6-1)

    "The Dynasty" sits at #1 after rolling out to a 6-1 Record in 2015. Tom Brady broke his Collarbone in Week 4 and New England rolled with Ryan Mallett at Quarterback. The defending Champions continue to win in Belichick's System as Brady is set to return in the next couple of weeks. Mallett is shining once again under Center as New England continues to roll with a 5 Game Winning Streak.

    2.Tampa Bay Buccaneers(6-1)

    The Buccaneers are picking up right where they left off last Season. Despite losing Josh McCown to retirement, Tampa handed Brian Hoyer a 3 year, 9 Million Dollar Contract to be "The Guy." And this year he certainly has been. Hoyer is leading the League in Yards and Touchdowns as Tampa is 6-1. Super Bowl 50 is also being held at Raymond James Stadium. The Bucs will attempt to be the first Team in NFL History to host their own Super Bowl. Something Arizona failed to do last Season.

    3.Arizona Cardinals(5-1)

    Arizona is off to a great start as new Defensive Coordinator Robert Saleh has the Cardinals Defense possibly playing much better than last year. Arizona is tied with San Francisco for the NFC West lead. The Cardinals could be a threat come January if Saleh's Defense continues to dominate.

    4.Pittsburgh Steelers(6-1)

    Pittsburgh appears to be on a redemption path this year as Big Ben has his Steelers at 6-1 and in first place in the AFC North. Everybody appears to be on the same page as there is no reports of any drama coming out of the Locker Room....yet. If the Steelers can keep winning and being on the same page then they may make the Playoffs for the first time since 2011.

    5.San Francisco 49ers(5-1)

    San Francisco is tied with Arizona for the NFC West lead. Harbaugh appears to have his 9ers on a redemption path this year after suffering their earliest Playoff exit last year in the Playoffs. The 9ers sit in full force as Vic Fangio and Jim Harbaugh has that 9er Defense continue to dominate.

    6.New York Giants(5-2)

    Todd Bowles has done wonders in New York as he has the G-Men in First Place in the NFC East. The Giants look poise to return to the Playoffs in the Bowles ERA as former Head Coach Tom Coughlin has taken over in the Giants Front Office. A new beginning is looking like a bright future with Eli Manning, Todd Bowles, and Tom Coughlin looking to get the Giants back to the Playoffs.

    7.Green Bay Packers(4-3)

    Aaron Rodgers got hurt in a Week 1 victory over the Denver Broncos when he broke his thumb on his throwing hand. After a quick surgery and time off, the Packers struggled with Joe Callahan, Colby Cameron, and David Ash and David Hoag at QB. The Packers dropped to 2-3 in Rodgers absence before 12 returned in Week 6 to lead the Pack to a 31-9 win over the Saints. Despite sloppy play and a ugly win this Week over Oakland, Rodgers has Green Bay at 4-3 and trail the Lions for the Division lead.

    8.Detroit Lions(4-2)

    The Lions have surprised people so far this Season as Detroit sits in First Place in the NFC North. Now with Rodgers back in Green Bay the real test begins for the Leos despite beating the Packers in Week 2 when ARod was out. Week 11 will be the rematch in Detroit. Now the Lions will look to keep winning and prove people wrong as 2015 goes on.

    9.Cleveland Browns(4-2)

    Johnny Manziel is the clear favorite right now for MVP. "Money" has been blowing up the League since taking over as QB1 for the Browns. They got some retribution with a Week 2 victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football. The Browns should make another run for the Playoffs as they look to get over the AFC Title hump and make the Super Bowl.

    10.Seattle Seahawks(4-3)

    The Seahawks sit at #10 to round out the Top 10. Seattle started off at 1-3 as it looked like after back to back Super Bowl Appearences might derail the Hawks. However if there's anything to be known about Pete Carroll's Team is that they continue to live by their "Never Say Die" attitude and now have won 3 straight to sit at 4-3.

        ~~~THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL~~~
        WEEK 8 IS HERE! We're at the midway point of the 2015 Season!
        Washington is 1-5 and on a 5 game slide after Quarterback RG3 continues to be inconsistent and struggling with injuries. Washington has apparently seen enough and officially benched the #2 2012 Pick in favor of Kirk Cousins, Colt McCoy, and Christian Ponder. Cousins(796 yards, 7 Touchdowns, 1 pick, 94.5 Rating) will get the nod tonight with the lights on bright as the Redskins will try to dethrone the Super Bowl Champions.
        The New England Patriots sit at 6-1 and look to make another run to the Super Bowl. Brady is out with a Broken Collarbone he suffered a month ago but the Dynasty continues to win with Ryan Mallett(922 yards, 9 Touchdowns, 2 Picks, 113.7 Rating) at Quarterback in that Belichick System. The Patriots have won 5 straight and look for #6 tonight.
          PATRIOTS win 6th straight with 20-3 victory over REDSKINS...Washington drops 6th straight...
          RECAP
          Foxboro, MA- Despite losing Tom Brady for 6 Weeks, the New England Patriots(7-1) continue to win in Belichick's System.
          The Dynasty have now won 6 straight.
          On Thursday Night Football with the lights on bright, New England(7-1) handed the Washington Redskins(1-6) their 6th straight loss.
          "It's a brutal year for us with this losing streak. We have a ways to go before we can qualify as a good Football Team. We need to look at ourselves first so we know what to fix." Redskins Head Coach Jay Gruden stated.
          Washington(1-6) benched Robert Griffin III amidst the struggles and injuries handing QB1 over to Kirk Cousins.
          Cousins missed some time as well before making the start tonight in Boston.
          And the Offense struggled against the Pats Defense. Cousins had just 139 yards with 2 Interceptions as Washington finished with just 7 First Downs and 161 yards of Offense. He was sacked 4 times by the Super Bowl Champions.
          Rob Ninkovich with 2 then Duron Harmon and Devin McCourty with a Sack.
          "I thought our Defense was amazing tonight. We got turnovers, we got stops, and we held points off the board." Patriots Defensive Coordinator Matt Patricia stated.
          Washington(1-6) punted 6 times as the Offense continued to struggle.
          "No other way of putting it honestly other than we got outcoached by the best." Redskins Offensive Coordinator Sean McVay stated.
          Patriots Quarterback Ryan Mallett had 309 yards, 1 Touchdown, and 2 picks as New England(7-1) won 6 straight.
          Off both Turnovers, Washington(1-6) only managed a Field Goal.
          The Patriots got on the board first late in the 1st Quarter off a Shane Vereen Touchdown. Vereen finished with 109 yards and a Score.
          Redskins RB Alfred Morris struggled being held to just 35 yards.
          INJURY UPDATE
          Patriots WR Danny Amendola broke his Collarbone on a Punt Return and will miss 7 Games.
          "Always sucks when you lose a guy like that. We'll have him back for the Playoffs." Patriots Offensive Coordinator Josh McDaniels stated.
          Patriots finished with 440 yards of Offense.
                  The Chicago Bears are in a 5 Game slide after a Week 1 Victory over the St. Louis Rams. During a Week 3 loss to the San Diego Chargers MVP QB Jay Cutler hurt his Shoulder and missed time. This left Head Coach Marc Trestman to start backup QB David Fales to start the next few Games for Chicago. All losses. Fales tried to get his rhythm as a NFL Quarterback but the losses kept coming. Now at 1-5, the Bears will attempt to end their 5 game skid as they head to frigid Minnesota to face their NFC North Rivals, the Vikings.
                  Minnesota is 3-3 as Mike Zimmer's Team is showing signs of promise after a disastrous 2014 Campaign. The Vikings will host Chicago inside TCF Bank Stadium as they prepare to open their new Stadium, US Bank Stadium next Season.
                      VIKINGS blow 14 Point lead. Lose to BEARS 25-24...Chicago snaps 5 game skid..
                      Quick RECAP
                      Minneapolis, MN- The Chicago Bears(2-5) have snapped their 5 Game slide with a 25-24 come from behind victory over rival Minnesota Vikings(3-4) inside TCF Bank Stadium on Sunday.
                      Former MVP Jay Cutler didn't miss a beat despite missing some time with a shoulder tear suffered in a Week 3 loss to the San Diego Chargers.
                      "He's the MVP of our Team man. That's our Boy Jay!" Bears WR Brandon Marshall stated.
                      Minnesota(3-4) took a 21-10 Halftime lead as it looked like the Vikings were gonna blow out their North Rivals.
                      Quarterback Matt Cassel hit Johnny Ford for a Touchdown, a Everson Griffin hit on Jay Cutler fumbles the ball and Vikings Safety Harrison Smith returned it for a Touchdown.
                      Another Touchdown to Ford and the Vikings(3-4) went into Halftime up 21-10 with momentum on their side.
                      Then something changed.
                      "I can't really tell you to be honest it's like we came out in the Second Half a completely different Football Team." Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer stated.
                      In the Second Half, the Bears(2-5) stole momentum and their Defense began to make life miserable for the Vikings as Jay Cutler began looking like the 2014 MVP again.
                      Cutler tossed 2 Touchdowns and 318 yards to help lead the 2nd half Comeback.
                      Bears Defense picked off Cassel twice and held the Vikings to just a Field Goal.
                      "That was a hole for us to climb out of but proud of this Football Team for getting the job done. We're still in a bit of a hole but still got half a Season left. Today was step 1 for us." Bears Head Coach Marc Trestman stated.
                      Matt Cassel had 197 yards, 2 Touchdowns, and 2 Interceptions.
                                ~~~THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL~~~

                                Week 9 is here Football Fans and to kick off Thursday Night Football is the Vikings and Rams.

                                St. Louis(0-7) is having a rough 2015 campaign after losing 2 Quarterbacks to Injured Reserve forcing Head Coach Jeff Fisher to turn to Rookie Jared Goff. The Rams have opened the year with 7 straight losses to Chicago, Cincinnati, Arizona, Baltimore, Cleveland, Carolina, and Pittsburgh. The Rams thanks to Goff's inexperience is suffering bad on Offense and the Defense is left out to dry.

                                Mike Zimmer's Vikings(3-4) have shown improvement especially on the Defensive side of the Ball. A last second loss last week to Chicago dropped them below .500 but the Vikes are still in 3rd Place in the NFC North.
