    -Andrew Van Ginkel (OLB) suffered a torn rotator cuff in week one of the preseason. With an expected recovery time of five months, Van Ginkel was placed on season-ending injured reserve.

    -The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed Noah Igbinoghene (CB) from the London Bulldogs' practice squad.

    -The London Bulldogs have signed free agency Christian Holmes (CB) and assigned him to the practice squad.

    -The London Bulldogs have signed Trevon Wesco (TE) from the Mexico City Golden Eagles' practice squad. Durham Smythe (TE) was released from the active roster to make room.

    -The London Bulldogs have signed Charles Omenihu (DE) from the Houston Texans' practice squad. Jonathan Ledbetter (DE) was released from the active roster to make room.

    -The London Bulldogs have signed Ryan Connelly (MLB) from the New York Giants' practice squad. De'Jon Harrison (MLB) was released from the practice squad, and Cameron McGrone (MLB) was assigned to the practice squad to make room.

          I cannot help but say that the Jags are/were the far more likely team to go to London. The owner has connections and before their 2017 run, they were marketing very hard for the London games and to get recognition.

          The Raiders or Miami to Mexico were more logical. I have been living in Lima, Peru for over 8 years now and of all the local football fans (as opposed to expats such as myself) tend to be Dolphins fans. That is mostly true throughout central and south America, as Florida is also the most common place to visit and the history with the city. Though, as I said, Mexico supports the Raiders more.

          I started a Madden 25 franchise years ago where I too sent defunct teams to the different international locations.

          Regardless, good luck and I will keep reading.

            Thanks so much! Yea it's gonna be a tough road but I think we've got a bunch of young talent that will progress and really make a strong core.

            I TOTALLY agree with you, the reason I sent Miami to London and Jacksonville to Mexico City instead of the other way around is for geographical reasons. I wanted to the London team to be in an eastern conference and the Mexico City team to be in a southern conference.

              2021 LONDON BULLDOGS ROSTER PREVIEW

              OFFENSIVE PREVIEW: There's plenty of hope surrounding London's offense as second-year pro Justin Herbert (QB) looks to build upon the tremendous success he had as a rookie last season. New addition Andy Dalton will be his primary backup in case of injury. There are no changes at runningback, where Kenyan Drake will continue to shoulder the majority of the load, while Gus Johnson will handle goal line duties. At wide receiver, DeVante Parker and Collin Johnson will continue to serve as Herbert's primary targets. Kendrick Bourne joined the team in free agency and won the slot receiver position in preseason while veterans Michael Crabtree and Tavon Austin provide depth at the position. Tight end Mike Gesicki is still the team's starter, but will need an inspired performance in 2021 to earn a contract extension past this season. Free agency addition Jake Butt replaces Marcedes Lewis in two tight end formations. The offensive line features the biggest changes from last year as rookies Cade Mays (LT) and Jamaree Sayler (RG) will join second-year pros Logan Sternberg (LG), Tyler Biadasz (C), and Alaric Jackson (RT) to form the youngest offensive line in the NFL.

              DEFENSIVE PREVIEW: London focused heavily on retooling the defense in the draft, and came away with a handful of exciting new prospects. On the front line, defensive ends Emmanuel Ogbah and Christian Wilkins will be joined by 3rd round pick Phidarian Mathis (DT) out of Alabama. Outside linebacker has been completely reworked, and will feature free agency addition Tyus Bowser and the 2nd overall pick in the draft, Penn State's Micah Parsons. Xavien Howard and Minkah Fitzpatrick continue to lead the charge at cornerback, while free agency addition Jason McCourty is the team's new slot cornerback. Youngsters Damon Arnette and and Avery Young round out the depth chart. The safety position will feature a pair of rookie starters after the startling release of Reshad Jones in the preseason cuts. 2nd round pick Jaiden Lars-Woodbey (SS) and surprising 7th round pick Kaevon Merriweather (FS) are sure to have their share of growing pains as they adjust to the speed of the NFL.

              2022 OFFSEASON NEEDS

              QUARTERBACK: The Josh Rosen experiment is all but over, so look for the team to use a late-round pick on a QB next season to provide depth behind Herbert and Dalton.

              RUNNINGBACK: Ballage's exit in free agency will open a roster spot at runningback, which the team could use to sign a high-profile runningback in the offseason to supplant Kenyan Drake as starter if he continues to struggle.

              TIGHT END: Gesicki and Wesco are both on expiring contracts, so don't be surprised if the Bulldogs use a high-to-mid round pick to select a young prospect to lead the tight ends in 2022.

              OFFENSIVE LINE: The only starting position in doubt is at left guard, where Logan Sternberg (LG) could be replaced by yet another high draft pick in 2022, or a high-profile free agent. Three backups are also on expiring contracts, and the team would ideally like to add some veteran depth for their young starters.

              LINEBACKER: Starters Jerome Baker (MLB) and Tyus Bowser (OLB) are on expiring contracts, and the team is unlikely to re-sign either, opting instead to fill those voids in the draft or free agency.

              2021 DEPTH CHART
              YELLOW = PRACTICE SQUAD
              RED = ROOKIE

                            Solid offseason bro, looks like you had an amazing draft! Crazy to see the best of the best retire, will be interesting to see how well the Saints and Patriots do without Brees and Brady. It’s funny, the Saints took Jake Fromm in my franchise as well lol. Good luck this season! Go Bulldogs!
