Welp... the file for this dynasty got corrupted. I advanced to week 3 after playing Ball State and everything locked up. Did it a few times over, same result. Sadly I didn't have a backup to this file so I guess this thing is lost. Definitely starting a new dynasty, probably just going to see if I can get my old Xbox up and running, although my Westlake State TB dynasty from a couple years back isn't there. I mistakenly saved over the most recent file while I was doing a Florida dynasty last year, that I didn't document. The previous file is from 2014 and would erase a couple seasons that I don't particularly care to replay.
For anyone interested, I'm going to do another (yes this is now going to be the 4th iteration lmao) Westlake State dynasty, this time I'm going to sim to 2020, running some manual progression around the nation, normalizing incoming QB AWR, having impact freshmen, etc so when I start playing, the CFB world is a bit more realistic. I'll probably cheese recruiting a little bit so I'm not taking over a 68 rated team in 2020. I want to start off a mid-major program in the American, and with Kawkeye's manual progression, it'll be hard to build us up. I actually don't have nearly as much time to play as I did when I started this dynasty due to the fact that I thought I was going to be injured all summer, but I'm now drastically ahead of schedule in my rehab and I'm training a lot for my sport (soccer) ahead of semi-pro opportunities in 2021.
So I figure I'll probably start the new dynasty thread in 5 or 6 days, and I guess I'll probably return to week-by-week reports since I'll really only be playing 3-4 games per IRL week at most.
