Yeah for real, it flew by and I don't even know how that happened! Tried to get a good chunk in before school started back up, I started back Monday. Well, it seems a dynasty is a perfect remedy for a sports injury, at least that's what I've heard! I always appreciate you checking my stuff out, it is much appreciated! You should be able to handle FAU no problem, and you know I'm following this team closely! Again giving the players life and story is so dope!

Report by Isaac Robinson - November 3rd, 2019
FAU shock Swarm 45-28
B.J. Henderson fumbled 5 times
5 fumbles, INT as Henderson has his worst game of the year -- FAU's Dotson tears up Westlake State
Westlake, OH -- Well, that was ugly. Westlake State, reeling after a tough loss to #3 UCF, were upset by now 4-6 FAU. The Owls dominated from start to finish, holding the Westlake State offense to just a handful of big plays, pressuring B.J. Henderson all day, and forcing 5 fumbles as they absolutely rocked the star junior.
The Owls led 21-14 at the half, as Julian Dotson had already racked up over 300 total yards of offense despite throwing an early INT to linebacker Nick Watts, and they continued to dominate, as they forced a punt, and then jarred the ball loose from Henderson 3 consecutive times, with linebacker T.J. Jackson taking the last one back to the house to make it 42-14.
Dotson scrambled for a gain of 29 on this play. He finished with over 350 total yards of offense
The Swarm didn't score again until Henderson led a pair of drives in garbage time after a couple FAU turnovers, one of which was Watts' second INT on the day.
"I'd rather not speak," said Dion Barkley after the game. "If I speak, I'll be fined, and I don't want that."
The lone bright spots: A pair of single-season Westlake State records were set, as Xavier Meeks caught his 12th and 13th receiving touchdowns of the season, breaking Rufus Jensen's record with 3 games still left to go. Defensive end Bryan Young built upon his nation-leading sack total, picking up two more to bring that number to 14 on the season, setting a new record that will be very tough to break.
Just to rub salt in the wound, #3 UCF locked up the division with a 30-28 win over Cincinnati yesterday. Starting QB Jeff Thomas went down with an upper body injury and is expected to miss a week, so it'll be up to backup Jamar Smith to lead the Knights to a win over Temple to preserve their undefeated record.
With their division hopes now gone, Westlake State now sit at 6-4 on the year and will head down to Miami next week to play 4-6 FIU. The Swarm need to finish strong, as they'll hope to make a good bowl game. The current projections have the Swarm facing off against Wake Forest in the Russell Athletic Bowl.

Re: #SWARM - RELOADED
Moonboots has been feeding you some awful insider tips.
Definitely did not see that coming however, especially after the strong performance against UCF. Was the line just that bad at protecting Henderson or did he hold onto the ball too long and make some unnecessary hits? Seems like they came out firings in the second half and really just didn't let you get into a rhythm.Comment

Re: #SWARM - RELOADED
Five Turnovers - ouch. Henderson has been so good, but looks like he had a bad day with turnovers...though the other numbers were still pretty good! 378 yards, 3 TDs plus 84 and a TD on the ground...sometimes these games happen - Swarm will bounce back!
Nice to see Coach Dobz still doing work - really hoping a HC is in the cards for him this offseason!Comment

Yeah that Air Raid switch was a great idea. Wondering if Deuce gets an HC job offer in the offseason.

Dobz has been great, and I went ahead and had Illinois recruit a top QB who had you guys #4 on his board - he's a stud. 85 OVR (I didn't create him BTW, game-generated recruit), if he gets the AWR boost that I give roughly 20% of incoming guys... watch out. Then again, wouldn't be surprised if Dobz got a head coaching job, we'll see.

Y2, G11 Preview - @ FIU
Coach Barkley's Take
We have to win. Period. 3 straight losses heading into next week against a Lousiville team that's won back-to-back would be a disaster. Ending 9-4 is the goal. Charles Houston is a talented QB with a good arm (85 thp, 81 tha, 86 awr), and tailback Jonathan Thompson is solid too. (89 spd, 83 elu) This O-line is very good, and Houston could pick us apart if we don't get pressure.
Their defense isn't great, but MLB Alvin Young is a stud, maybe the most athletic backer in the nation. 4.4 speed at 6'3, 260, good at everything. (91 spd, 78 tak, 85 bsh, 93 pur. We're going to look to attack them through the air, they're missing a starter at safety and don't have great corners.
This is likely to be a shootout.Comment

This has gotta be a bounce back win for the Swarm. Henderson should get close to crossing the 1,000 yard threshold.Comment

Re: #SWARM - RELOADED
Huh. Don't even know what to say after that loss, just completely did not see that coming. 9 combined turnovers is pretty crazy, I remember having a similar game against Wake a few seasons back with a similar statline and the game just becomes a toss up at that point with all the missed opportunities. I feel like I'd place heavy money on a bounceback game against FIU, but honestly I don't know at this point with how topsy turvy it feels like your season has been going!Check out my Pitt Panthers Dynasty (NCAA Football 14)

Bounce Back: Swarm defeat FIU 42-26
Career day for sophomore Coley -- Big numbers from Henderson, but 3 turnovers a cause for concern -- Bryan Young registers sack #15
Robert Coley took this slant route for a huge score
Miami, FL -- Westlake State needed a win, and they got it, moving to 7-4 on the year with a 42-26 win over now 4-7 FIU. B.J. Henderson posted terrific numbers, throwing for 341 yards, 4 scores, and tacking on a TD on the ground as well.
This one was over by halftime. FIU came out looking to attack through the air, but Westlake State were all over it, holding Charles Houston to just 127 yards and a score on a whopping 29 pass attempts, while also picking him off once. Henderson, on the other hand, had already racked up over 180 yards and thrown for 3 touchdowns on just 17 attempts. He later threw a 4th to bring him to 35 on the year, breaking Justin Young's record of 34 from 2016.
The Golden Panthers got close, cutting the lead to 15 at one point as Henderson threw a couple of bad picks, but the damage was done. Houston wound up setting a school record for single-game passing yards (430), but he needed 71 attempts to do it, and he tossed a pick-six to true freshman Danny Patrick (Patrick's 2nd INT on the day after not recording any in his first 10 games) to effectively end it early in the 4th.
Danny Patrick iced it
"We're not done," said Henderson. "I can do better, we should have put 70 on these guys. We still have another game left, we still have our bowl, and I intend on leading us to our first ever 9-win year."
Robert Coley had a career day, catching 5 balls for 169 yards and 2 scores as he brought his total numbers for the season to 40 grabs and 744 yards, both good for #3 on the team, while also tacking on 4 scores, good for 4th. Coley has benefited from Eric Monroe's torn pec that's kept the speedy sophomore out since week 4. Monroe is listed as doubtful, and it's unlikely that he'll play again before the bowl.
The Swarm return home next week for Senior Day, and they take on 6-5 Louisville, who boast the nation's #6 defense.
