    Week Recap:
-Sure we went 1-1 but it wasn't a great week. Dallas played the night before and still managed to outplay us, luckily for us though DiPietro finally decided to show up. We didn't actually play bad against Calgary, just Kipper was on fire that night.

Current lines are on the first page right above the player stats. And yes, the powerplay and scoring has definitely shown up. Now we just need the defense to show up again.

              3rd Star: Pothier (WSH) - 3 Assists

              Notes:
-Streit was injured in the game and is listed as day-to-day. Andrew MacDonald has been called up from the AHL. Streit should actually be healed in time for our next game which isn't for another 5 days.

              Player of the Week:
              Zach Parise (NJ) - 3 GP, 3 G, 5 A, 8 PTS.

              Week Recap:
0-2. And in both we blew early leads. MacDonald looked absolutely horrible in his start, so we really might have to go out and look for a better backup goaltender. We'll see what happens next week and make some decisions from there.

Funny how I just mentioned that we couldn't come from behind in every game last week or the week before and now teams are doing it to us. I really should've kept Hedman though, that was a bad mistake. We might have to go acquire a true shutdown defenseman. At least the offense is there though.

Is it possible to regain Hedman. Usually teams who pick early keep their draft pick with them.

The game seems to hate Streit; his stats are in the crapper, especially considering how well he did this year.
                            Plekanec was a nice pickup.

Unfortunately not. And most teams that pick early aren't looking to contend right away so that player will get good playing time in most cases. Could I have given Hedman first or second d-pair time? Sure, but he wasn't deserving of it yet.

Yeah, I saw Streit's ratings and figured whoever did the rosters must've been a Habs fan that really wasn't happy about him leaving. Plekanec seemed like a good pickup but he's done absolutely nothing since getting here and has been demoted to the 3rd line and taken off the 2nd powerplay unit.

Hilarious. They could have used him too...
Maybe with all the extra prospects you can trade for a top notch left winger like Rick Nash (continue your poaching of good Columbus players ), Ales Hemsky or Zach Parise.
Or you could get big defenseman.
