BUFFALO SABRES READY FOR A NEW SEASON

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Here we are, a new season of NHL hockey. Since the season of 113 points and the president trophy in 2006-07 the Sabres didn't participated to the playoffs. But this season things are differents. With Mille rone of the best goaltender in the NHL and solid young talent, the Sbres can expect something big. If the team stay healthy this season, Buffalo can expect to be one of the top team in eastern conference.

Tyler Myers will be the key in defense and Ryan Miller has to be on the elite of the league. In front of them, Vanek and his line has to perform like in '07. With the addition of Raffi Torres, Buffalo has a solid third line that can score. The young talent of this team is really great, the two 1st round pick in 2008, Tyler Myers and Tyler Ennis, are the futur of this team. I expect the sabres to be in the playoffs and I predict a 6th place in the conference.

DAILY NEWS : RUFF EXTREMLY HAPPY

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The performance of the 3rd line of the Sabres is exactly what Lindy Ryff the coach of the Bufflao Sabres wants ; "If we want to have succes and be with the top teams, our 3rd and 4th line has to be a big part of the games." said ruff at the morning practice. For Miller it's a very good start too, he only faced 16 shots in 2 games but given up only 1 goal.Raffi Torres the new aquisition of Buffalo, is already a key succes for his team. Some good free agent are without contract like ; Marc-andré Bergeron and Todd Bertuzzi, but Darcy regier said that he loves the group of guys he have in his hands and wants to save some space on the salary cap for the trade deadline and for now the team is winning so it's don't necessary to make changes.

The goal of the team, make the playoffs. All of the management of the Sabres were clear on that.Regier said he gave himself 2-3 years to make this team a elite team in the NHL.Sabres will go on the road for one game againts the Predators and will be back home to face the Red Wings, Islanders and the Thrashers, taht the next week for the Sabres. The team is healthy right now no injury to report***ff also said that facing the Red Wings will be a great test for his team to defeat the 2008 Stalney cup champions and last year finalists.

I agree, it's a lot better to read a dynasty where the user is at least challenged. Most of us don't want to read a dynasty where you go 72-10-0. I like the Sabre's so it should be an interesting franchise.

OMG that reminds me of something. There is this guy on 2khockey.net who had a franchise story...it was maybe the most unrealistic franchise ran ever on any sports game by anyone. I'll go dig it out and post it in the Dynasty Thread area...

I'll call the thread "Check This Out".

                            This is truly worth it...

Pillz, a suggestion: If it's not too late you might want to restart the franchise with the salary cap OFF. It will save you a hell of a lot of headaches in the long run.

P.S. Where do you get the cool team logos like that, very nice.
