          PHILADELPHIA - The Flyers scored a late goal in the third to take the lead but Gaustad scored 13 seconds later to put the teams in overtime and Simon Gagné was the only scorer in shootout to help his team to edge the Sabres 3-2.             BUFFALO EDGE CANES LATE


            BUFFALO - Nicklas Backstrom had a pair of goal and the Sabres beats the Carolina Hurricanes late in the third. With 2 goals leads in the third, the sabres gave up 2 early but scored twice in the last 6 minutes. With this win, buffalo is now 2 points behind Washington and 3 points behind the conference leader, the pittsburgh Penguins.

                  BUFFALO - Montreal played the same game that Buffalo played many times, a shutout. Montreal simply dominated Buffalo and had an easy 3-0 win.                       GAUSTAD AND PETERS ON THE SIDELINE

                      BUFFALO - With the losing streak, the injuries comes and the Buffalo Sabres annouced that Paul Gaustad and Andrew Peters will be sideline for a couple of games. Paul Gaustad have a hand injury and will miss 2-3 games and Andrew Peters have a herniated disc and will miss 3-4 weeks of play. With these announce, The Sabres also announced that Tyler Ennis has been called up and will play on the 3rd line to replace Gaustad. Patrick Kaleta will replace Peters on the 4th line. With the 3 lost in 4 games, Buffalo his now 8th in the conference and the first rank seems far now but with a win, buffalo will retake the first rank of his division. 10 points split the 10th and the 1st place.

                        BUFFALO - WOW ! that's the word for tonight game against the Rangers, Clarke Macarthur, Raffi Torres, Tyler Ennis had a total of 9 points and the sabres beats the best team in the NHL 5-1. At his first NHL game, Tyler Ennis made a big impression, 1 goal and 1 assist. With this win, Buffalo retake the lead of the division and are now at 4 points of the Rangers.
