This is really looking great. Good job getting some young talent. Stinks that one loss will knock you out of the playoff spot right now though.

That was a game for the tough player again with many big hits. Peters and Carcillo fought, Peters won the fight. Buffalo struggeled again with the puck.

Great presentation but this trade is absolutely brutal, just brutal. One of the worst I've seen as far as fleecing the CPU.

Backstrom is arguably one of the top 5 players and easily a top 10 player in the league and you gave up peanuts.

If Buffalo was looking to pick up Backstrom any package would have to start with Vanek, Myers or the Caps GM hangs up.

                              BUFFALO BRINGS TOUGHNESS

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Buffalo Sabres annouced the aquisition of Dan Carcillo of the Philadelphia Flyers and their 2nd round pick at the next draft. In return, Philadelphia get Patrick Lalime and Dylan Hunter. Carcillo have 4 goals 7 assists in 16 games. Hunter played in the Sabres farm team, Portland Pirates and he has 1 goal and 4 assists in 12 games. Now with Andrew Peters, Adam Mair, Patrick Kaleta, Steve Montador and now Dan Carcillo, the sabres is one of the toughess team in the eastern conference. Darcy Reger explained the trade " We want guy that can play in the playoff and be tough for our team and we have a young good goalie in the minors that can be in the NHL."

Lindy Ruff said that Carcillo will play on the fourth line but he don't know yet who will be scratch. The next game of the sabres will be againts the Florida Panthers at HSBC arena. With a 10-6-1 record, Buffalo hold the lead in the northeast division and the 3rd spot in the conference. Teppo Numminen was send down to Portland and nobody claimed him on waivers. Jhonas Enroth was called up to be Miller's backup.

Edit : Buffalo Sabres claims Brian Boucher from waivers and assign him to the Portland Pirates.
