I just got caught up, holy crap your year 3 team is explosive. It is the very definition of 'extensive depth'. Excellent offseason work and not to mention great GMing over the last 2 years.

But like you said, your team looks very similiar to last years Hawks - I hope it wins you a cup because if it doesn`t its going to be a messy offseason. Kudos Dynasty.

Quick question for yeah, in season 1 did you start with doing the draft yourself (Didn`t list your picks) or after the draft?

Hey all I have decided after alot of thought and reflection that I am going to end this franchise.

First off I want to thank everyone who had been reading and especially everyone who takes the time to read and comment. In the end that's why I write about my team is to share with you all the experience of it.

Secondly I want to explain why. When I started this thread I wanted to take my favorite team and make them great, to undo what I felt were mistakes by prior gms. I wanted to do this fairly through hard work on the ice at the draft and trade tables through free agency and really use all the resources available to build a strong club to compete for the cup.

While I have worked very hard and struggled through alot of rough times, ups and downs when i play this team I can't help this nagging feeling that I cheated the poor logic of the CPU into one sided deals and over balanced trades that has left me with the belief that i have in essence gone completely against what i started out to accomplish here. Now don't get me wrong I have a stupid good team here and I'll be In the cup race for sure, but I got it in what I feel was an underhanded effort to bring in high end talent with essentially no cost to my club. This is not the vision I had when I started, I achieved the end result I wanted to but used underhanded tactics to get it.

Thus the ends do not justify the means. In the end I didn't trade for players what I did was essentially trick the poor CPU out of franchise players at little effective costs and after reviewing my franchise I hate it for that very fact and I can't continue playing. I know it's just a game but this isnt the vision I had.

So! I am going to start anew, I don't know with what team but I will be rebuilding whatever team I do choose from the ground up using the philosophy I started this chise with, except I will stick to my long term plan and make it work.

Once again, thank you everyone who had read and participated on this franchise your the reason I write. I hope you will continue to do so iny next thread.
