Solid win against Nashville. They took 3 penalties and I had 2 short 3 on 5 penalties, but still couldn't score. Rinne was their PK specialist. Next up, 70 game update.Comment

It seems that we are not able to solve Luongo this season. He was outstanding and doesn't give up any 2nd chances too. Lindback wasn't that bad at all in this game against Vancouver. It's getting tighter for the playoff standings. We can't afford too many losses at this moment.Comment

Re: Seb170455's Moose Jaw Mustangs Dynasty (2nd attempt)
NOS Studio Sport sent reporter Tom Egbers to Canada to make an update on how the Moose Jaw Mustangs are doing. Trade deadline has passed and there are 71 games played. The end of the regular season is nearing. Tom had an interview with assistent captain Keith Yandle.
Tom: Thanks for having us, Keith. How are you doing?
Yandle: We have settled in nicely. After a start with many changes for us, I think we've doing a good job here. New place, new staff and a new beginning. I didn't think we be where we are right now.
Tom: Do you think you'll make the playoffs this year?
Yandle: If you look at the standings, we should! But if you look at our form, it's going to be a hell of job to get there. If we win half our games remaining, I think we'll make it. I have a good feeling about making it. Where we will end in the standings isn't quiet clear to me. But we'll do everthing to make it.
Tom: Are you satisfied with your own play?
Yandle: Overall it could be better. Offensively I hoped to have a better season. Defensively it's has been alright. Klesla and me are having a good season. I have only 22 PIM which I like very much. The best offensive defenseman are Noa Zoë and Ekman-Larsson. Those young guys are doing a great job.
Tom: Do you like the roster at this moment?
Yandle: Yeah, I like it a lot. It's a good mix between young and old. The addition of Boyle and Landeskog were great deals of GM Loonstra. Boyle has been a bomb in the defensive zone. We lost a few guys over the season, but we picked up some great prospects. The waiver pick up and return of Morris will give our team a great boost too. I think Jo (GM Loonstra) will upgrade our team in the offseason. But first we want to go as far as possible in the playoffs with these guys. If we make it, we'll be the dark horses of the playoffs.
Tom: Do you speak some Dutch yet?
Yandle: Yeah, listen carefully; "Ge-fe@$#-li-ci-teerd*@$% met de over-winning" (Congratulations with your win). Very difficult, hahaha.
Tom: hahaha.. Very good try. Thanks again.Comment

Re: Seb170455's Moose Jaw Mustangs Dynasty (2nd attempt)
Hey guys, I have a question;
Do you guys have a plan regarding to scouting? How do you guys scout?
The first year I always scout to get points for my GM Tracker, but there has to be a better plan.Comment

Re: Seb170455's Moose Jaw Mustangs Dynasty (2nd attempt)
I always scout places where I am expecting good prospects. Like D in the WHL, Forwards from the OHL, and G from the Q. Also where I have high scouting ratings, like Sweden or Finland. But generally throughout the season I scout all over.SENS -

Tough loss to Edmonton. In the 1st period we get a penalty shot against in a PP for Edmonton. Lindback held us in the game the 1st period, with 16 saves in 17 shots. The last minute of the 3rd period, we were not able to get the puck out of our defensive zone. They scored with 30 seconds or so on the clock.Comment

Re: Seb170455's Moose Jaw Mustangs Dynasty (2nd attempt)
Thanks SENS. I had no idea how to scout. I'm not familiar with the leagues, so it was a blur area for me. I asked somewhere else the same question. Some dude told me: 1st look at the top 10 prognose if there are multiple players/positions from a league and scout there. Otherwise scout 6 weeks in every league. When a league has only 10 players to scout, you may only scout 4 weeks.Comment

Re: Seb170455's Moose Jaw Mustangs Dynasty (2nd attempt)
Scouting I use the projectedrounds and if they have lik 5+ first rounders I scout a month for each league. If the league has no first rounders I usually skip, sometimes it seems season isnt long enough to get 3 green ratings.PSN: DirectFX

Re: Seb170455's Moose Jaw Mustangs Dynasty (2nd attempt)
I typically go with 2 to 3 weeks depending on how many prospects are in league/region.
And since I only draft the 1s 3 rounds and let the CPU do the rest my scouts usually focus on the CHL and maybe the US.Comment
