Many new faces, brand new team

In the debut of the Sens, many new faces took part in the morning skate. Nabokov scored a W for the sens, stopping most of the shots, while Jagr lead the team with 2 goals. The Sens had a scare when Michalek took a slap shot to the leg, but it was later determined that he was okay. The Sens will continue their home game against Toronto on September 6th, with Nabokov in net.

                          Spezza's Hat-Trick Leads Sens To 2nd Win

After Nabokov let in a lousy rebound goal, Spezza's natural Hat-trick in the 3rd period lead the Sens to a win over the Leafs in the Battle Of Ontario.

Sens end winning streak, still have home streak in back pocket

Nabokov let 3 goals in on 13 shots, and got pulled in the start of the 3rd period for Anderson (coming off a horrible last season). He stopped all the shots he faced, and the Sens lose to the Rangers 3-1. This is their first home game and loss. On the plus side, they still have a home streak of 2 wins. Foligno scored the lone goal for the Sens.

Sens lose 2 in a row

Nabokov has once again let down the Sens in a 3 - 6 defeat in Washington. Michalek tied it at 1 in the 2nd period, then Washington put on their super-skates and took away the game. I forgot to record stats for this game.

Anderson lets one in with 12.8 seconds left!

Toronto came into this game with a 0-4-0 record. Jagr got a penalty with 58.4 seconds left in the 3rd, tied at 0. Kessel had the puck at the Sens end, when Cowan went and checked him from behind. He received a 5 min major penalty on the play, which resulted with Phaneuf scoring with 12.8 seconds left, off of a deflection from Carkners skate. Anderson played his best this game, better then all of last season. With this loss, it makes 3 in a row for the Sens (all away games), and the 1st win for Toronto. This was another good Battle Of Ontario. Toronto lost Tim Connolly for 2 - 3 months after a check from Carkner.
