Leafs Look Good In Preseason Win
The Maple Leafs looked good in a 4-1 decisive victory over the Buffalo Sabres in preseason action. Phil Kessel scored the "unofficial" first goal of the year for the Leafs, who would add three more Jay McClement, James Van Riemsdyk as well as rookie Matt Frattin.
Goalie James Reimer looked sharp between the pipes, stoping 36 out of 37 shots from the Sabres offense. His counter part, Matthew Hackett, faired slightly worse, taking the loss after making 22 saves on a total of 25 shots.

Toronto Maple Leafs Season Preview/Expectations
After failing to make the playoffs in the 2011-2012 season for the seventh straight season in a row, the Toronto Maple Leafs will definitely be hoping to improve their results in the 2012-2013 season that has yet to come.
Former head coach Ron Wilson was fired after an unsuccessful time with the blue and white, and former Anaheim Ducks coach Randy Carlyle took over Wilson's position with the Leafs. The Leafs improved their blueline, adding offensive defenseman Cody Franson in a trade with the Nashville Predators.
Goaltender James Reimer will be looking to prove that he is worthy of a starting position in the National Hockey League after a season that saw him battle through injuries that kept him sidelined for the majority of the season.
In a season that was finished so badly for the Leafs, who finished 35-37-10, good for thirteenth place in the Eastern Conference. What might have been one of the lone bright spots of the season was sniper Phil Kessel, who proved that he could score consistently at the NHL level, netting 37 goals to go along with 45 assists, good for a total of 82 points. He was the only player on the Maple Leafs roster that averaged at least a point per game.
With the departure of Jonas Gustavsson, the Leafs now turn to rookie goaltender Ben Scrivens to take over the backup role. Scrivens went 4-5-2 with a 3.13 goals against average and a .903 save percentage in limited action with the Leafs last season.
Overall, this team has a shot at making the playoffs on paper, but what they do on the ice is what really matters.Comment

Re: The GM Journey of Martin Miller
Haha. I know that the game is good since I have played the demo but money is tight with me being a high school student so I'm not getting NHL 14 until at least the price drops down...Comment

Re: The GM Journey of Martin Miller
Just whore yourself out to fat girls, then you can get the new iPhone AND NHL 14.
Or, you know, get a crummy job at American Eagle like every other high schooler does.Comment
