Emery goes to AHL; placed on waivers

Shocking news hit the NHL today as we learned that Ray Emery has been placed on waivers by the Philadelphia Flyers. He currently sits at 0 games played for Philly this season, and was serving backup to Steve Mason. The Flyers have also signed Michael Garnett, who has been playing in the RSL for Tracktor for the last 3 years. They signed him to a 3-year $5,640,000 contract after he was released by Tracktor.

"Well, I'm super happy to bring in Garnett" the GM was quoted saying. When asked about Emery, he simply said... "I'm sure he will fit in the AHL. He will be our go-to goalie if Mason or Garnett gets injured. He may also be moved for the right price"

It is believed that the right price would be a mid-late round pick.

                  Cowen down for 10 days!

Jared Cowen suffered a skate-bite during practice today. He will be out of the lineup for about 7-10 days. Gryba will make his debut for the Senators, and try to prove himself to perhaps replace Ceci in the near future.

                        Lineup Changes

Boroweicki gets the nod to sit in for Wiercioch after watching the past 12 games as a healthy scratch.
Wiercioch has been slumping, having 0 points and +4 in 12 games.

"To stay in play, you have to produce. Wiercioch just wasn't doing a good enough effort" - Dave Cameron, Senators coach.

                            Line changes:

Due to Chaisson lacking, he has been demoted to 3rd line to play with Andrehoff and Condra. He will keep his spot on both 2nd power play lines.

This means a promotion for Mark Stone, who will play alongside Zibanejad and MacArthur

Also promoted was Zibanejad to 2nd line from 3rd, and demoted was Andrehoff from 2nd line to 3rd.

J.G Pageau will be sent to Bingo.

just a suggestion you might want to include the date of the game and the team records
