Well, ok. You never said which weekend.
Must be a hell of a work. The other day I lost like 3 games, cause I accidentally quit and I hadn't saved. And I felt horrible. Luckily I then realised it's only 3 games... Not 27... -_- I feel for you.Comment

No, I actually haven't made as much progress as I would have liked. In addition to finals week for school - I also developed a bad case of mono this week. Go figure.
We'll get back on track surely enough. Once I start feeling better, I'll be doing two things - golf and PES. I've sent a memo to the wife, she knows what's up.Comment

State of the Premiership
Investigations are Over, Swansea and Blackburn fined
by Mark Schwarzer last updated 20 February 2025
It's time for the matches to play on.
The FA has released a statement this morning, indicating that Swansea City and Blackburn would be fined an undisclosed fee due to consipracy in match fixing.
The original investigations took place earlier this month, and some would say it is a relief that there was no hard evidence that actual events had taken place - but that the two clubs have gone on record that "considered the idea of fixing a match, but never went through with it" per club owners Mamadou Harris (Swansea) and Blackburn's Nigel Horton.
The FA has investigated and have found no actions had taken place by both clubs to deem a significant impact on the 2025 season; and as a result the season will continue as planned.
Due to the long absence of football in the UK, the FA has given clubs the notion to vote for either a shortage in games to meet deadline, or to have matches twice a week (Saturday and Wednesday) until everything is caught up.

Sorry I haven't updated in quite a while. My father has been sick - but had a successful surgery - extra time has been spent on things with family and what not. I'm also waiting on my new video card to get here because the one I was using fried unfortunately.
I miss playing Matteo if that means anythingComment

Scratch whatever I just said. Console gaming with FIFA or PES is just no comparison to the customization of the PC. I can't do that, and that'd be even more work. I am getting a new video card tomorrow and then getting this back going.Last edited by Matt10; 05-22-2012, 10:47 PM.Comment

Hold it right there
Play on stand still again as linesman comes forward
by Mark Schwarzer last updated 28 February 2025
Referee Holland Elesteel made his brutal revelation this morning.
Just when we thought the season would continue - Premier League referee, Holland Elesteel, came forward with material that would link "at least" three clubs towards match fixing.
"I would know this because I also took part in the fixing," admits Elesteel, "These are well known clubs too - one is in the second stage of the Europa league - the other is fighting from dropping to the championship - and lastly, I hate to say it - is the team I've grown up watching as a lad."
Elesteel was walked out of the press room - only later to find himself in front of media with a letter in hand that had the teams on it:
"Sorry!
Fulham
Bolton
Sunderland"
The news hit hard - some of the clubs representatives from the media were seen taking pictures and holding their cells - eager to make that call that could potentially result in a tragic ending.
FA Board member, Ray Lewington, has given the named three clubs 24 hours to come forth and refute the accusation by Elesteel. According to Lewington, however, the clubs will be hard pressed to fight the referee - as Elesteel has proof of match fixing recordings and documentation.
Chris Gamble at 10:05 am
This is sad. Just absolutely sad. Someone bring Cantona back to life so he can kung fu kick Elesteel right in the balls.
John Hurl at 9:58 am
Really? Really!!??? Fuuuuuuuu*&*!! Goodbye, Matteo. Fulham will be knocked off points and fined signficantly - just watch, Matteo is going bye-bye.
Valentino Degriefer at 9:45 am
I'm really not sure what to do with myself now. Bolton have been in the prem for the majority of my life - they will surely be fined and relegated. FML.
Joey Barton at 9:25 am
Hahahahahahahaha.
Alexander Matteo at 9:24 am
This sucks. I'm going to have to move again.
Harrison Teamsley at 9:20 am
Serves them right - I knew Fulham wasn't that good. Think about poor Sunderland though! Top 4 and they are going to be knocked all the way down to lower end. Sad news in football.

Hehe - good catch!
Btw, I am tempted to picking up the 360 version of this game. The modding community seems to be in full force and apparently a lot of what is from the PC can be applied to the 360.
Very tempting! derrrrrrr edit: Nope. 360 without gameplay patch would make me pretty sad.

My battle with picking the right game continues. Honestly with graphics like this, FIFA 12 for the PC is starting to get a good chance of being the final destination for Matteo:

There is a very active community modding - and gameplay - the only thing I need though is a player editor so I can change the ages.
