Re: All Elite Wrestling (AEW) - WWE 2K19 Universe Mode

    May Week 4

The show begins with the entrances of Cody and The Young Bucks. We're kicking it off with some singles action.

    ---

Match #1 - Cody w/ The Young Bucks vs. Kota Ibushi

    Star rating: ☆☆☆1/3

A good match in it's brevity. It starts with chain wrestling and Cody going to a variety of headlocks, then turns to more of a slugfest. Cody controls the match early on, but Ibushi is able to take over and once he does it's as good as over. Ibushi hits the Pheonix Splash to win it.

    Ibushi wins by pinfall

As soon as Ibushi raises his hand after picking up the pin fall, The Young Bucks are in the ring beating him down. Cody gets up as well and it's a 3 on 1 assault from The Bullet Club.

Kenny Omega runs down to save Ibushi. Omega hits the ring and starts swinging wherever he can at all three men, but eventually the numbers game catches up. The Bullet Club starts a beatdown on The Golden Lovers. Cody picks up Omega for Cross Rhodes, when the music of Brian Cage hits!

Cage now runs down to the ring and takes down Nick Jackson with a clothesline. Matt runs after him and gets back dropped. Omega and Ibushi get up and join the fight, sending The Bullet Club packing.

Cody and The Bucks scurry up the ramp as Cage and The Golden Lovers stand tall to end the segment. Frustration continues for The Bullet Club who haven't been able to find success in season 2.

    ---

    In Ring Promo Segment

The Junior Elite Champion P.J Black heads down to the ring with a microphone.

Black: WELL, WELL, WELL. Once again my word are proven true, because despite all the hate and all the empty promises from Jay Lethal, I stand here STILL your Junior Elite Champion!

Black holds the title high over his head before shuffling it back over his shoulder.

Black: And what that means is that I am the face of an entire division here in AEW, so as the face of the division I'd like to give everyone a fair warning. This is never EVER going to change, because-

Black is cut off by the music of Jay Lethal who comes down to the ring and grabs his own Mic.

Lethal: How absolutely pathetic of you. Two weeks ago we faced off for that title and you rolled me up 1-2-3 in the middle of the ring and I was ready to shake your hand and show you respect. The one week later what do you do? You take the easy way out and get me counted out so you can scrape away with that championship.

Black: You Jay Lethal are nothing but a bitter sore loser. What I've done these past two weeks is outwrestle you, and outsmart you. Now it's back of line for Jay Lethal, and top of the mountain for P.J Black!

Black holds the title high again.

Lethal: That's one thing you're right about Black, I will move to the back of the line, because I have more respect for that title than you ever will, but mark my words, I will be back for it. And if it isn't me, there's a whole locker room of guys who are gonna take you down first.

Lethal drops the mic and walks off as his music plays. Black looks on unfazed gripping his belt close.

    ---

Match #2 - Johnny Elite vs. Jay Brisco

    Star rating: ☆☆☆1/2

A great match in the Junior division. It's a clashing of styles as Elite is fast and flashy while Briscoe has that aggressive smash mouth style. It's an open back and forth contest that runs a decent amount of time. The end comes when Briscoe goes for a diving elbow drop, but Elite moves. Briscoe lands right in the drop zone for Starship Pain which Elite hits for the victory.

    Elite wins by pinfall

Elite wins and continues to build momentum.

    ---

The video board shows a chaotic scene backstage. Security and officials are breaking up what looks like a massive fight. Through all the wreckage emerges Pac, and the crowd explodes. Pac walks confidently off camera as it's revealed the man he laid out was Eli Drake.

Pac emerges from behind the apron and comes down to the ring, and once again the crowd is HOT for Pac.

Pac: I thought I made it absolutely clear when I got here that I was not going to tolerate any games. Two weeks ago, Eli Drake and Big Cass tried to pull one over on me, now if you want me big man, come down here and we do it one on one!

Cass comes down to the ring angry and ready for a fight.

    ---

    Match #3 - Pac vs. Big Ca$$

    Star rating: ☆☆3/4

This one doesn't last long as Pac goes after the legs of Ca$$. Ca$$ is able to cut off Pac a few times, but after a while the leg based offense starts to catch up to the 7 footer. Pac drops Ca$$ with a dropkick to the legs. He then goes up top and hits the Black Arrow, 1-2-3.

    Pac wins by pinfall

An absolute statement here tonight by Pac. With no cheating or distractions in sight he's able to make short work of the 7 foot tall Big Ca$$!

    ---

    Backstage

Nick Nemeth is in an unknown location doing another selfie style video promo.

Nemeth: People all over twitter, all over Instagram, they keep asking me "Is that it, are they already tired of you in AEW?" Let me explain something to each and every one of you... I'll be back in AEW competition when I say so. As for right now, my biggest asset is my brain, and I'm putting it to work to make sure my return changes the foundation of AEW... forever.

    ---

Match #4 - Austin Aries & Kazuchika Okada vs. The Lucha Bros

    Star rating: ☆☆☆☆

The new red hair Okada is eccentric and unique to say the least. He avoids contact with Pentagon early on until a bit of rule bending gives him and Aries proper openings for tag team offense. In the end however The Luchas Bros have too much team chemistry for the thrown together tandem to deal with. Eventually the illegal Okada storms the ring and ambushes the legal Fenix who was close to securing the win.

The Lucha Bros win by DQ

An all out brawl breaks out between all four men! Aries and Fenix brawl up the ramp while Okada and Pentagon brawl up into the crowd and to the back. All four men disappear to the back to end the chaotic segment.

    ---

Match #5 - World Tag Team Championships - Sabre & Sabin © vs. The American Wolves

    Star rating: ☆☆☆☆1/4

This is an amazing tag team bout full of great psychology and tag team offensive sequences. Sabre & Sabin put a great focus on cutting the ring in half and pulling off quick tags to keep the 2 on 1 advantage. The Wolves however are able to break out of this trap multiple times for hot tags.

The end comes when Richards goes for his diving foot stomp from the top, but Sabre Jr. moves out of the way. Sabre pushes Richards into Edwards, knocking Edwards off the apron. He then rolls up Richards and grabs the tights, and Sabin reaches through the ropes from the outside for extra leverage. Richards can't power out.

Sabre & Sabin win by pin fall

Sabre & Sabin scurry away with their belts. Somehow after an amazing match they manage to walk away with a stolen victory. The Wolves don't know what hit them as the match was over just like that. Still tag team champions, Sabre & Sabin.

Re: All Elite Wrestling (AEW) - WWE 2K19 Universe Mode

        June Week 1

The show opens with the music of the tag team champions, Sabre & Sabin. They come down to the ring holding microphones.

Sabin: Is anyone here surprised to see that Chris Sabin and Zack Sabre Jr. are STILL the AEW World Tag Team Champions?

Sabre: I'll tell you exactly who is surprised, The American Wolves, because last week they had us written off, they thought the titles were as good as theirs, and what do we do? The same thing we've done since day one, prove everyone who doubts us wrong.

        The crowd boos.

Sabin: And that's exactly what we'll continue to do time and time again, because we are not only the fastest rising tag team in professional wrestling, we're the greatest tag team in professional wrestling today -

The American Wolves music hits and Edwards and Richards walk to the top of the ramp.

Edwards: Now I don't know what kind of games you two are playing right now, but it seems you guys have actually convinced yourselves that somehow you earned that title defense last week. In reality, you did what you had to do to escape because you KNEW that a few more minutes of head up competition mean The American Wolves are your NEW AEW Tag Team Champion.

Sabin: That's the difference between us and you. You live in hypotheticals, while we live for results.

Sabre & Sabin hold the tag titles up high.

Richards: You better grip those titles as close as possible because The American Wolves are on the hunt, and mark my words we won't stop until they're ours.

The Wolves music hits and they walk off as the segment ends.

        ---

Match #1 - Crime Time vs. The Briscoe Brothers

        Star rating: ☆ ☆ ☆

Good back and forth tag team action. Both teams are very experienced and work great together, and the crowd is just about split down the middle. The Briscoe Brothers are beating down on JTG, but when he's finally able to get the tag on Shad the tide of the match turns. Shad cleans house. He goes for a big boot on Jay Briscoe, but it's dodged and Briscoe hits a russian leg sweep. The Briscoes once again take control and work on Shad.

Mark goes up to the top rope to try and put away Shad with an elbow drop, but the big man moves and reaches JTG for the tag. JTG enter and Mark Briscoe runs right into a rollup pin. 1-2-3!

        Crime Time wins by pinfall

JTG pulls out the shocking win! Crime Time celebrates with the crowd as Jay and Mark have a smirk on their face that says "you got us this time."

        ---

Match #2 - P.J Black vs. Will Ospreay

        Star rating: ☆ ☆ ☆1/4

A good albeit short match. It starts with some chain wrestling then slowly the pace begins to pick up. Ospreay hits a big suicide dive to the outside on Black. Black tries to roll up Ospreay, but Ospreay kicks out at 2. He knocks Black down with a roundhouse and then lines him up for that running flip ddt and gets a huge win.

        Will Ospreay wins by pinfall

Will Ospreay has just pinned the Junior Elite Champion 1-2-3 in the middle of the ring! He may be next in line for a shot after that performance.

        ---

Match #3 - Brian Cage & The Golden Lovers vs. The Bullet Club

        Star rating: ☆ ☆ ☆3/4

An awesome 6 man tag full of both tag psychology and fast paced exciting action. Early on Bullet Club traps Brian Cage and cuts the ring in half, preventing any tags to be made. They hit a multitude of tag team moves and get close with a few pinfall attempts.

When Cage is finally able to make a tag to Omega the match is blown wide open. The Golden Lovers work in tandem to take over. In the end, Omega hits an Omega Driver on Cody and win it for his team.

Cage & The Golden Lovers win by pinfall

The drought continues for The Bullet Club who can't seem to string together any meaningful wins. Cage, Omega, and Ibushi celebrate as the show goes to commercial.

        ---

        Backstage:

In the locker room Cody is throwing a temper tantrum throwing things as The Young Bucks sit slumped over on benches.

Cody: What the hell is going on here? You two are the first ever AEW Tag Team Champions. I was the second ever Junior Elite Champion. We should be on out way to getting those tag titles back, and I should be the next World Heavyweight Champion! Instead we can't win a damn match to save our lives.

        Matt: I... I don't know. I wish I could tell you what's going wrong but I just don't know.

Nick: I think we're all overreacting right now. It could just be a stroke of bad luck, and we-

Cody: Bad luck? There's no such thing as bad luck. We're The Bullet Club, the greatest unit professional wrestling has ever seen. Listen... next week I'm gonna put in a request. The Young Bucks vs. The Golden Lovers, two on two. And if you two don't win that match there's gonna be a serious, serious issue.

Cody storms off leaving Nick and Matt shaking their heads.

        ---

        Backstage 2

Brian Cage is in another locker room with The Golden Lovers after their win. They're all in high spirits commenting on their match and celebrating their win.

Cage: Let me tell you that was impressive for sure. We make a hell of a team... but there is one thing I wanna say.

        Omega: What's that?

Cage: As great as this was, I'm no tag team wrestler.

Ibushi is in the background making facial expressions. His smile turns to a concerned grimace.

Omega: What do you mean by that?

Cage: Kenny you're a hell of a wrestler and a hell of a tag partner, but these past few weeks something has been swept under the rug, and that's the fact that you have that. The Intercontinental Championship. I want it, and I'm gunning for it.

Omega: Ohhh now that just made things real interesting. We could slap Cody and The Bucks around all day long, but you're right, my Intercontinental Championship has been swept under the rug, and that's the last thing I want to happen. I want the best competition and I want to go to war to defend this belt, just like I did when I won. So do me a favor Cage, earn a shot at this belt so we can tear the house down... and I'll get a little 1 next to my defense count.

Cage: Consider it an inevitability, but I wouldn't be so confident about the result.

        Cage walks off.

        ---

Match #4 - Dave Mastiff vs. Walter

        Star rating: ☆☆☆

These two men are familiar with each other as they had a rivalry last season.

This match is two mastodons throwing stiff strikes and using their massive bodies as weapons against each other. It's dead even all the way through, until Walter gets Mastiff outside the ring and tackles him through the crowd barricade! Both men are laid out and the ref reaches a count of 10.

        NO CONTEST

The show goes to commercial as AEW staff tries to clean up the mess and get Walter and Mastiff some help.

        ---

Match #5 - Kongo Kong vs. PCO

        Star rating: ☆☆3/4

A short match and also a bit slow and plodding, but it's also very stiff and hard hitting. PCO is a madman and he doesn't care how hard he gets hit, but in the end Kongo Kong hits a big backbreaker that puts away PCO.

        Kongo Kong wins by pinfall

        ---

        Backstage

Nick Nemeth is doing yet another selfie style video promo.

Nemeth: How much longer... Everyone keeps asking me, "Nic, how much longer are you gonna go on with this cryptic nonsense... It's only cryptic because you have NO IDEA the position I'm in. You have no idea what it's like to bust your *** every night knowing you have all the talent in the world, and ending up with nothing to show for it. If you understood that feeling you'd know exactly what I'm saying... you'd know exactly what I mean.

Nemeth puts the phone down and the screen goes black.

        ---

Match #6 - Extreme Rules Tornado Tag - The Lucha Brothers vs. Okada & Austin Aries

        Star rating: ☆☆☆☆

As Pentagon & Fenix are making their entrances Okada and Aries run down and meet them on the top of the ramp. The match begins and they brawl all around ringside. It's absolute chaos as there's chairs, kendo sticks, baseball bats, and sledgehammers being thrown around. Aries is busted open and Pentagon also appears to be bleeding from under his mask. In the end, Aries is able to put Pentagon through a table ringside, allowing them to double team Fenix. Okada hits the Rainmaker on Fenix and wins it for his team.

Okada & Aries win by pinfall

Okada and Aries celebrate, blood streaming down Aries face and smeared on Okadas chest and arm. Okada picks up Pentagons World Championship and goes to pose with it, but Aries grabs the other end of the belt.

The show ends with the heel team staring each other down, both holding one end of the world championship and trying to pull it away.

Preview for AEW June Week 2
          by Paul Marshall

Fallout from last weeks main event where Okada and Aries managed to get one over on The Lucha Brothers in a brutal tag match, but it's clear that when it comes to the AEW Championship both men are in it for themselves.

Cody put his Bullet Club partners The Young Bucks to the test this week in light of their losing streak, requesting that the Bucks face The Golden Lovers in tag team competition. Cody has demanded the Young Bucks win or face "serious consequences"

Debuting will be indy star and former WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins.

After an upset victory last week, Crime Time and The Briscoe Brothers will face off again. Can Shad and JTG pull off the big win again?

A blockbuster main event has been announced. It will be a 5-Man "Monsters Brawl" match. This is an extreme rules style elimination 5-Man match. The competitors are as follows; Brian Cage, Walter, Dave Mastiff, Kongo Kong, and PCO. The winner will receive a future shot at Kenny Omegas Intercontinental Championship. That is of course if they're able to walk after this monster showdown.

Great show and can't wait to see the next episode.

I really hope that the Young Bucks lose so we can see the serious consequences.

The Monster's Brawl should be interesting.

Love the Aries-Okada dynamic. The enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend.

              June Week 2

The show opens with Austin Aries in the ring screaming about something.

Aries: What the hell does it take to earn the World Title Shot that I deserve here? Last week Okada and I pinned The Lucha Brothers one two three in the middle of the ring. I want my shot and I want it RIGHT NOW, so whoever is in charge can either come down here, or send a message to that stooge on commentary Jim Ross.

Aries waits a little, but it's not management that comes out, it's former World Champion Okada. Okada comes down to the ring.

Okada: Aries... I am the greatest champion ever in AEW. I deserve the shot.

Aries: See that's where you're wrong buddy and I'm not just talking about your broken english. Your time has come and gone and it's time to give someone new a shot. Not to mention the fact that my match for the world title was interrupted, by you!

Okada: I can beat Pentagon... you never will.

              Aries: Is that right?

Aries starts to get in Okada's face and shoves him. Okada responds with a shove back and all of the sudden a brawl breaks out. Referees and security have to come down and break it up. Tensions are running high in the world title picture.

              ---

Match #1 - PAC vs. Jay Lethal

              Star rating: ☆ ☆ 3/4

The match gets off to an amazing start with fast paced athletic back and forth action. The star rating would have been higher, but the match is cut short by Big Ca$$ and a returning Eli Drake, who attack Pac.

              NO CONTEST

Drake hits Pac with Blunt Force Trauma, then picks up Pac so Ca$$ can lay him out with a boot to the face. Ca$$ and Drake stand tall. All of this happens before Lethal is able to get up and help.

              ---

Match #2 - The Young Bucks vs. The Golden Lovers

              Star rating: ☆ ☆ ☆1/2

An awesome match between these two teams and a great story being told. The Bucks are desperate for a win and wrestle one of the strictest and most careful tag matches of their career. Still, the drought there in is not yet ready to be overcome as Omega is able to lay out Nick Jackson with a knee, and tags in Ibushi who hits a Phoenix Splash and wins it.

The Golden Lovers win by pinfall

After Omega and Ibushi celebrate The Bucks are left sitting disappointed in the ring. The show goes to commercial.

              ---

              Backstage

The Young Bucks are walking holding their hurt bodies after a tough match, when they run into Bullet Club leader Cody.

Cody: So what am I supposed to do now? Because I gotta be honest, I didn't plan a punishment, because I expected you guys to pull through for me. So you tell me, what the hell am I supposed to do?

Nick: What are you supposed to do? What are WE supposed to do? What happened to Bullet Club being a unit? You seem really caught up in your own ego, meanwhile we're all going through a slump.

Matt: Yeah Cody lets be honest, you haven't won a damn thing in a month in a half, so how are you gonna tell us anything?

Cody: Are you guys serious right now? You can't be for real. You know what, fine. I'm gonna go out there later tonight, and I'm gonna beat TJP to the ground, and show you guys that there's no such thing as a drought. You two just aren't putting the work in. WATCH ME.

              Cody walks off.

              ---

Match #3 - Crime Time vs. The Briscoe Brothers

              Star rating: ☆ ☆ ☆

A solid tag match, if not a bit by the numbers. Both teams go back and forth for a while until JTG makes the hot tag to Shad who runs wild. He knocks Mark Briscoe off the apron with a Big Boot and then hits Jay with a running STO to win it.

              Crime Time wins by pinfall

Crime Time has done it, two weeks in a row over the Bricoe Brothers. The celebrate in the ring, when all of the sudden they both get clocked from behind!

The Briscoe Brothers have snapped. They beat down JTG and Shad and leave them laid out in the middle of the ring. The crowd boos as Jay and Mark walk off.

              ---

Match #4 - Cody vs. TJ Perkins

              Star rating: ☆☆☆1/4

The crowd is excited to see the debuting TJ Perkins. He and Cody have a solid matchup that really serves to show off the offense of Perkins. Perkins is crafty and daring, combining a cruiserweight style offense of dives and arial assault with holds and submissions. In the end Cody goes for Cross Rhodes, but he gets pushed off. TJ gets him up and hits the Detonation kick to win it.

              TJ Perkins wins by pinfall

Perkins celebrates and goes around high fiving the fans as the show goes to commercial

              ---

              Backstage

Back from commercial, Cody runs into The Young Bucks.

Matt: So what now huh? We can't buy a win, and neither can you, so what are you gonna do, punish us?

              Cody: ...

Nick: I mean really Cody the way you're acting is ridiculous, why don't you take some responsibility for whats going on here instead of trying to pawn it all off on us.

Cody: Listen, we're all a little frustrated, a little overly emotional at the moment. The point is, this can't go on any longer. I just need some time alone to figure this out.

Cody walks off towards the parking lot as The Bucks are left shaking their heads.

              ---

Match #5 - IC #1 Contenders - Monsters Brawl - Brian Cage vs. PCO vs. Kongo Kong vs. Walter vs. Dave Mastiff

As far as gimmick matches go, this is one of the most unique in a long time from any promotion. The elimination style and odd number of competitors lead to constant action, and violent action. There's alliances being formed, alliances being broken, and more all happening in real time. The order of eliminations is as follows.
              1. PCO by a Dave Mastiff senton
              2. Brian Cage by 2 Walter powerbombs
              3. Dave Mastiff by a Kongo Kong backbreaker followed by a Walter powerbomb through a table
              4. Kongo Kong by a corner splash from Walter

              Walter wins by pinfall

Walter holds his hand up high after the match. Kenny Omega comes out to greet him and the two stare down as Omega hold up the IC title, and the show goes off the air.

The Monster's Brawl should be interesting.

Love the Aries-Okada dynamic. The enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend.
Thanks, I know it's a lot to keep up with because I'm sorta going really hard with these (having a lot of fun with it) but those are definitely the main storylines at the moment, Bullet Clubs drought and The World title picture. I have a pretty cool story arch in mind for The Bullet Club.

Would also pay attention to PJ Black segments because I really like where I have him as a cheating heel.

                  Another great show.

A little disappointed in no punishment for the Bucks. Was really hoping for some crazy debut or something to take their place.

                  The 5-man battle was great.

Yeah that was a bit of a tease, but it was all to establish that theme of The Bucks losing faith in Cody. That big moment you're looking for will happen soon.

AEW Announces "Heatwave" IPPV, June Week 3 Preview
                      by Paul Marshall

AEW officially broke the news on their website, and it spread like wildfire all over social media. The Heatwave IPPV will stream live on various platforms. This will be AEW's third IPPV. Their first two, "Making a Name" and "No Remorse" received critical acclaim, while their most recent return show "From the Ashes" was also quite well received.

Heatwave will take place the second week of July.

AEW has also released a preview announcement regarding their upcoming weekly show.

One of the more intriguing stories of the past two months is the ongoing struggles for The Bullet Club. The Young Bucks are winless since the first week of May, while Cody is entirely winless since AEW has come back on air. Cody will open up the show with an official announcement regarding the future of The Bullet Club. Will we witness the end of The Bullet Club as we know it? Will we see Cody follow through on that punishment he promised The Young Bucks two weeks ago? Let the rumors swirl.

The main event will see Austin Aries go one on one with Okada as both men continue their pursuit of Pentagon JR and the World Championship. Okada still has a guaranteed rematch for the championship, but what would an Austin Aries upset victory mean?

Also announced is a 6-Man tag pitting Will Ospreay and The American Wolves against the Junior Elite Champion P.J Black and The Tag Team Champions Sabre & Sabin. It's a match of champions facing the top contenders in their respective divisions in tag team action.

Pac will be in action against Eli Drake who he’s has a rivalry going with for a while now. Pac has held his own well so far, but how much longer can he stand fighting off both Big Ca$$ and Eli Drake at the same time?

All that and more as AEW Thursday Night comes to you live from New York City!

                        June Week 3

The show begins with the entrance of Cody and The Young Bucks. All three men have mics. Cody has a big announcement to make here tonight regarding the future of The Bullet Club. Cody is wearing a full suit and has a smirk on his face that won't go away. The Young Bucks trail him looking somewhat uneasy.

Cody: Ladies and gentleman welcome to AEW Thursday Night and what a gorgeous Thursday Night it is!

The crowd lets out a half confused cheer. Cody keeps smiling.

Cody: I'm sure you're all aware that I'm going to make an announcement regarding the future of the Bullet Club, and that's exactly what's going to happen.

                        Matt Jackson speaks up

Matt: And just to be clear we still have no idea what this is all about

                        Nick: No clue

Cody: Just wait a minute guys because I'm gonna explain everything. You see two weeks ago I informed you two that if you lost to Omega & Ibushi that there would be a serious punishment.

The Bucks nod in agreement, still a confused look on both their faces

Cody: Well I came to a realization that I shouldn't be punishing my guys. That's not what made Bullet Club and that's not what's gonna keep Bullet Club running. No no no, what we need is not punishment, what we need is expansion!

The Bucks seem to lighten up a bit after that

Cody: That's right expansion! Because The Bullet Club has always been a strength in numbers kinda team, and 3 men in the AEW branch of Bullet Club just ain't gonna cut it.

Nick: Alright we're listening, who's joining?

Cody: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! Please welcome the newest members of the AEW roster, and the newest members of The Bullet Club dynasty... These men are second generation stars just like me, and these two men will bring the spark and the hunger back to The Bullet Club - everyone please on your feet, and give it up for the team of Cody Hall and David Finley - NEXT GEN UNRIVALED

Some rock music starts playing and out comes Cody Hall - the son of Scott Hall/Razor Ramon and by his side is David Finley - the son of Fit Finlay.

The crowd is mostly quiet and confused. The Bucks are also very confused, and if not a bit relieved.

Cody: Don't let your eyes fool you, Cody Hall is here and he's all of 6'10 268 pounds. And this is David Finlay, son of Fit Finlay. Mark my words he's as tough as you'd expect times ten. They've been training as a tag team for 5 months now and they're a hell of a team. Mark this day down, because this is the day that The Bullet Club changed professional wrestling FOREVER!

Cody drops the mic and The Bullet Clubs music plays. Cody shakes everyones hand in the ring and embraces Finlay and Hall. Cody is all smiles as The Bullet Club walks off. It's clear Cody is really excited about this announcement.

                        ---

Match #1 - Will Ospreay & The American Wolves vs. PJ Black & Sabre & Sabin

                        Star rating: ☆☆☆3/4

A classic tag story as the hunger contenders team up to face a team of champions. The match is full of high spots and fast paced action as the face tea attempts to speed things up, and the heel team tries to slow things down. The end comes when Sabre & Sabin and PJ Black get the head on Davey Richards who makes the hot tag to Eddie Edwards. Edwards comes in and takes everyone out, then hits Boston Knee Party on Chris Sabin and wins it.

Will Ospreay & The American Wolves win by pinfall

The Wolves have just pinned the tag champions in tag team competition. A huge win for both them and Ospreay.

                        ---

                        Backstage

A female interviewer is live with Cody Hall and David Finlay.

Interviewer: David, Cody, tonight we saw not only your introduction to the AEW roster, but also your introduction as the newest members of The Bullet Club. Is there anything you can say about this new team:

Finlay: Well as the man Cody said earlier I've been teaming with big Hall here for months now, and we've become a hell of a duo.

Hall: Two second generation talents, put that together with the son of Dusty Rhodes, winning is in our bloods and that's exactly what we're gonna do.

                        Hall and Finlay walk off.

                        ---

Match #2 - Pac vs. Eli Drake w/ Big Ca$$

                        Star rating: ☆☆3/4

Pac runs down to the ring and is right on Drake to begin the match.

The match gets off to a solid start with both men hitting some very physical offense. Pac starts to catch fire however and it’s clear he’s poised to take over the match. He takes down Drake with a dropkick, then hits Ca$$ on the outside with a baseball slide.

Ca$$ is angered by this. He runs into the ring and attacks Pac.

                        Pac wins by DQ

Pac is now fighting for his life as once again Ca$$ and Drake gang up on him. Drake picks up Pac and holds him in place for a Ca$$ big boot, when the music of Jay Lethal hits! Lethal runs down and starts throwing strikes left and right, and sends Ca$$ and Drake both packing.

                        ---

                        Backstage

Pac catches up with Jay Lethal

                        Pac: Hey, what was that?

Lethal: I saw you getting beat down and I ran in to do something about it. Don't forget that they interrupted OUR match last week, not just yours.

Pac: I've been fighting this battle for weeks now without an issue, I don't need your help, I can handle myself just fine on my own.

Lethal: It sure seemed that way when you were getting beat down out there

Pac: Don't worry about me. From now on, I do my thing, you do yours. Stay out of my business. Am I understood?

                        Lethal nods

                        Lethal: Yeah I think so

                        ---

Match #3 - Kenny Omega vs. Dave Mastiff

                        Star rating: ☆☆☆1/2

This is an all out war between two of the winningest men in AEW since the start of season 1. Early on it's all Mastiff as he uses his body and brute power to take down Omega, and keep him down. Omega eventually comes back however and is able to win with a knee to the face.

                        Omega wins by pinfall

A rare loss for Mastiff and a big time win for the IC Champion. Omega grabs a microphone.

Omega: Walter, I've seen what you're all about. You are a big, scary man and a hell of a wrestler, but what I do is beat guys just like you. I've been doing it my whole career, and at Heatwave I'm gonna do it once again.

                        ---

Match #4 - JTG w/ Shad vs. Mark Briscoe

                        Star rating: ☆☆☆

A solid match that sees both men get a decent amount of offense in, but in the end Mark hits and elbow drop from the top rope and wins it.

                        Mark Briscoe wins by pinfall

The Briscoe Brothers new attitude after last week may begin to pay off.

                        ---

Match #5 - Okada vs. Austin Aries

                        Star rating: ☆☆☆☆

These two men absolutely beat the hell out of each other and tear the house down in this matchup. There's a multitude of false finishes including Aries kicking out of a tombstone from Okada, Okada escaping Last Chancery twice, and a near double count out on the outside.

The ending is a shocker. Okada goes for the rain maker, but Aries ducks the lariat. Aries then clocks Okada with a rolling 5-arm. Pinfall by aries, Okada gets a foot on the ropes, but the ref doesn't see it. Aries wins!

                        Austin Aries wins by pinfall

The crowd, commentary, and most of all Austin Aries are all completely shocked. Okada starts to get up and looks a mixture of angry and confused. Okada starts to get in the refs face and tries to show him that his foot was on the rope. Okada then gets in Aries face and things break down into yet another brawl.

All of the sudden Pentagon Jr's music hits, and the World Champion comes down to the ring. He takes a look at Okada and Aries, who have stopped fighting. Pentagon points at Okada, then points at Aries.

He screams "BOTH OF YOU" and throws up the "Zero Miedo" sign. It appears that Pentagon has just called to defend his World Title in a triple threat match!

Damn, that’s a hell of a show. Hall and Finalay should be an interesting addition to the Bullet Club. I’m wondering how the Bucks really feel about this.

Cody seems really excited about the new guys before even seeing them compete against the rest of the roster. If they're as good as he says they are it should be a big boost for the Bullet Club - provided everyone gets along.

I'm seeing a new Bullet Club faction. Bullet Club Next Gen. Bring in some more "legacy" people to join. Maybe splinter them off and have a feud.

AEW Thursday Night June Week 4 Preview
                                by Paul Marshall

Just two shows away from the Heatwave IPPV event, and hot off the heels of an eventful show last week.

Cody Hall and David Finlay aka "Next Gen Unrivaled" have arrived and are representing The Bullet Club. They will be in tag team action for the first time ever on AEW television as they look to break the Bullet Club losing streak.

After Will Ospreay and The American Wolves both got one over on the champions of their divisions, one can expect that they'll be officially announced as the challengers at Heatwave. We'll see the continuation of both those stories.

Jay Lethal saved Pac last week from yet another Ca$$ and Drake beatdown. Backstage, Pac warned Lethal to stay out of his business. Now a tag match has been made as Pac and Lethal will take on Big Ca$$ and Eli Drake. Will Pac be able to work together with Lethal for at least one night?

Walter will be in a battle against Kongo Kong as he looks towards his IC title match against champion Kenny Omega at Heatwave.

Pentagon Jr. will be in action in the main event, opponent to be decided. This coming after the announcement that he will be defending his world championship in a triple threat match against Okada and Austin Aries. Pentagon will certainly be looking to send a message here.
