Massive Show Planned for Dynamite October Week 3
    by Paul Marshall

AEW is planning a huge show for October Week 3. Here is the official preview taken from AEW.com

After Edwards shocked the world last week and became the number one contender for the world championship, we'll see The American Wolves take on The Lucha Brothers. It'll be interesting to see Pentagon Jr. in the ring with the number on contender.

An 8-man tag will take place where for the first time ever, both Bullet Club tag teams, The Young Bucks and Next Gen Unrivaled, will team up to take on CCK and Crime Time. Will Bullet Club be able to work together to defeat two of the hottest tag teams in AEW?

Kongo Kong, Will Ospreay, and Nic Nemeth will compete in a triple threat match. The winner will receive a future IC Title shot.

Johnny Elite and Chris Jericho will face off in the rubber match in their rivalry.

The long time rivalry between Brian Cage and Dave Mastiff will finally reach its end. The two will face off in a 2 out of 3 falls match for Cage's Intercontinental Championship.

In the main event, the AEW Tag Team Championships will be on the line as Sabre & Sabin look to become the first ever two time tag team champions. Standing in their way of course are the current champions, Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi.

Re: All Elite Wrestling (AEW) - WWE 2K19 Universe Mode

      LIVE on TBS
      October Week 3

The show opens with Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards coming to the ring. Edwards says that last week he proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he belongs in world title contention when he beat Okada and became the number one contender. Edwards says he shocked the world by beating Okada, but soon he's gonna show everyone that Eddie Edwards winning is the norm - not an upset.

With that, the world champion Pentagon comes down to the ring alongside Fenix for our opening match.

      ---

Match #1 - The American Wolves vs. The Lucha Brothers

Result: A long and hard hitting tag match that ignites the crowd and sees all four men throw everything they have at each other. In the end however Pentagon is able to catch Davey Richards in a crossface. Richards Struggles for a bit, but eventually taps.

After the match Edwards checks on Richards. He seems visibly shaken at the power of Pentagon Jr.

      ---

Match #2 - The Young Bucks & Next Gen Unrivaled vs. CCK & Crime Time

Result This is a chaotic 8-man tag. The story of the match is The Bucks and NGU trying to get along and work together. They do an alright job as this is a quite competitive match. The match has a unique ending as the ref is bumped and knocked down. Cody Hall reaches for his signature Brass Knuckles, but he is unable to find it anywhere in his trunks where he usually stores them. After a while of looking, the camera shows Shad reach into his pocket and pull out Brass Knuckles. Crime Time stole the knuckles! Shad lays out Hall and goes for the pin, The Bucks shake their head and choose not to break the pin as CCK and Crime Time win it.

      ---
After a commercial break, we see Cody and Nic Nemeth of Bullet Club talking backstage when Cody Hall and David Finlay come bursting in, followed not long after by The Young Bucks.

Cody Hall is HOT. He says that The Young Bucks sat back laughing as he got hit in the face with his own brass knuckles, and didn't even break the pin. The Bucks argue that they wanted no part of that brass knuckle cheating and that NGU simply got what they deserve.

Cody Rhodes interjects. He says that Bullet Club is a united force - and that if The Young Bucks want to make a statement about conduct, the middle of a match is not the time to do it. Matt Jackson fires back, saying that they've been saying this for months now and no one listens to them.

Nemeth tells everyone to calm down. He says that NGU shouldn't have to be disciplined or told off about trying to cheat again - because they get immediate karma almost every time. Nemeth says that NGU is pathetic, and that if a tag championship opportunity presents itself, he knows which Bullet Club team he'll nominate for the spot. Nemeth adds that he's about to show them what can be accomplished without cheating.
      ---

Match #3 - IC #1 Contenders - Nic Nemeth vs. Kongo Kong vs. Will Ospreay

Result: After a wild back and forth triple threat, Nemeth manages to hit both Kong and Ospreay with a superkick. He pins Kong and gets the win.

Nemeth has earned a future shot at the IC Championship.

      ---

Match #4 - Johnny Elite vs. Chris Jericho

Result: The rubber match of this rivalry sees Jericho steal the victory when Johnny hops over the top rope and lands awkwardly on his ankle. Jericho takes advantage by hitting the Codebreaker and winning it.

      ---
Backstage, Rob Van Dam is being interviewed about his decision to join AEW, and what the future holds for him.

RVD begins to answer, when PAC runs up behind him and takes him out. The interviewer scurries away as PAC continues to beatdown Van Dam, and security has to break it up. It was only a matter of time before PAC got his revenge on Van Dam.
      ---

Match #5 - Intercontinental Championship - 2/3 Falls - Brian Cage © vs. Dave Mastiff

Result: An unequivocal match of the night and possible 5 star candidate. Mastiff gets the first fall on Cage. It's an uphill climb from there for the champ, but he's able to tie it up with the Drill Claw. The match continues for a good while, and in the end it's Mastiff who's able to hit a massive splash on Cage and win back the Intercontinental Championship for a second time.

      Spoiler

      ---

Match #6 - Tag Team Championships - The Golden Lovers © vs. Sabre & Sabin

Result: The Golden Lovers retain after a hell of a back and forth tag team matchup. A couple cheating attempts by S&S are squandered by The Golden Lovers, but overall we get a clean match and a great win by the tag champions. Omega puts Sabin away with the Omega Driver.

      Spoiler

After the match, The Golden Lovers celebrate with their tag titles. All of the sudden two men run into the ring and clock them from behind. The two men are identified to be Stu Bennett and Davey Boy Smith Jr! Everyone in the arena is confused as to where Bennett and Smith came from, and why they're here in AEW.

Smith picks up Omega and throws him towards Bennett right into a Bull Hammer Elbow, then does the same to Ibushi. The show ends with Bennett and Smith Jr. standing tall over the bodies of the tag team champions.

      ---

        Great show.

The Bullet Club storyline continues to be a great one.

Mastiff as champ again is awesome.

PAC attacking RVD should be interesting. Reminds me a lot of the RVD-Jerry Lynn rivalry

Bennet/Smith debuting could be a very tough team in the division.

          Yeah, man. Solid Show

Pentagon along with Fenix making that statement was good to read. I love the Lucha Bro's!

Crime Time is one of my favorite teams of all-time. Love that story!

Nic Nemeth becoming number one contender was needed. The guy is the leader and needs a belt.

Jericho and Elite had themselves another solid match. Jericho winning is meh.

PAC and RVD. My body is ready.

Sad Brian Cage is done already...Mastiff is a nice choice to beat him and hopefully end their feud!

Stu Bennett and Davey Boy Jr!? That tag team is going to be epic!

AEW Signs 2 New Talents, Austin Aries Done?, Dynamite October Week 4 Preview
            by Paul Marshall

AEW has announced the signing of independent talents Sammy Guevara and Sonny Kiss. The 25 year old Guevara has been impressive in MLW and in AAA. He is a former AAA World Cruiserweight Champion.

Sonny Kiss is a flamboyant and unique talent that will represent the LGBTQ community in AEW. He may be best known for his work in Lucha Underground as XO Lishus.

Austin Aries contract with AEW appears to have silently expired, with no word on him resigning. There seems to be a high talent turnover rate in AEW recently, with Walter, James Storm, Matt Riddle, Big Cass, and The Briscoe Brothers all leaving within the last 5 months.

AEW has released the official preview for the Dynamite October Week 4 show
Rob Van Dam and PAC will finally go one on one in a grudge match main event.

We will hear from Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Stu Bennett, two talents who made a shocking appearance at the end of last weeks show, attacking the tag team champions.

After the events of last week, Next Gen Unrivaled will take on Crime Time in tag team competition.

Will Ospreay will be in action way out of his usual weight class as he goes one on one with Kongo Kong.

Cody announced on twitter that he will be making his return to singles competition, and he promises to show Nic Nemeth he's not the only member of Bullet Club that can get things done in singles competition. Opponent to be decided.

The 3-0 Psycho Clown will finally get a chance to face a member of AEW's active roster as he faces PCO.

              LIVE on TBS
              October Week 4

This is a special episode of Dynamite from Miami Florida as AEW begins to bring their weekly show around the country.

The show opens with the entrance of two of AEW's newest talents, Stu Bennett and Davey Boy Smith Jr. As they come down to the ring, a replay is shown of their attack on the tag champions at the end of last week. They grab a microphone, and the crowd is abuzz.

              Bennett: WE have arrived!

The crowd is a mix of loud cheers and boos. A "Bad News Bennett" chant breaks out.

Bennett: It's quite fitting that AEW is broadcasting here tonight from Miami Florida, the place where I made a massive impact with the Nexus and shook the wrestling world to it's very core. And last week me and my new partner, Davey Boy Smith Jr, did the exact same thing to the AEW tag team champions.

Smith: You're looking at the two workhorses of pro wrestling, and soon to be known as the greatest tag team in the world.

Bennett and Smith continue on. Bennett says that he and Smith are on a mission to display not only the superiority of their tag team, but the superiority of Great Britain. Together they are "Britannia," and they're taking over the tag team division.

With that, Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi emerge from backstage, and they're here for revenge! Omega and Ibushi rush the ring and start throwing hands. Ibushi clotheslines Smith over the top rope and out of the ring. Omega and Ibushi work on Bennett for a while, but Smith emerges from outside of the ring with a steel chair. Smith takes the chair and cracks it over the back of both Omega and Ibushi.

Britannia is in control now. The start stomping both Omega and Ibushi repeatedly, and hitting them with the steel chair. Smith picks up Omega and tosses him towards Bennett, who flattens him with a Bullhammer Elbow.

Smith now takes the steel chair and places it on the leg of Ibushi. He gets on the middle rope and jumps off, stomping on the chair. Ibushi writhes in pain as security and medics run down to the ring, and Britannia finally leave the area.

Ibushi appears seriously hurt. The medics as well as Omega check on him as the show goes to commercial break.
              ---

Match #1 - PCO vs. Psycho Clown

Result: The biggest challenge so far in Psycho Clowns short lived career. For the first time ever, we see him knocked off his feet by the unrelenting PCO. The two men have a knock down drag out brawl all the way through, but it ends when the two spill to the outside and continue brawling, losing track of the ten count resulting in a double count out.

The two men have to be physically separated. There was no bad blood going into this matchup, but maybe it's just been brewed up. Either way, a rematch has to be in the books for the near future.

              ---

Match #2 - Cody (with Next Gen Unrivaled) vs. Colin Delaney

Result Cody's big return to singles competition, and his opponent is Colin Delaney of all people. He makes relatively short work of AEW's resident jobber, and wins with Cross Rhodes.

              ---
A video plays highlighting Eddie Edwards history so far in AEW as he prepares to challenge Pentagon Jr. next week for the AEW world championship.
              ---

Match #3 - Will Ospreay vs. Kongo Kong

Result: A true David vs. Goliath match up. Ospreay uses his speed and agility to work around Kong, going for the legs and for quick pot shots whenever he finds an opening. Kong cuts him off a few time with big slams. The ending of the match comes when Kong is working on Ospreay on the outside. Ospreay finds an opening and runs into the ring at a count of 7. Kong goes to follow, but Opsreay hits a dropkick knocking Kong off the apron, and the ref reaches 10.

Ospreay has won! That's two count out finishes on the same show, but this time we have a winner in the form of Will Opsreay. The show goes to commercial break.

              ---
Backstage, Kongo Kong is tearing apart the backstage area. He's tossing boxes and whatever else isn't pinned down. He runs into Colin Delaney who is holding his ribs after his match, and tosses him halfway across the hallway. Kong is clearly extremely frustrated after that count out loss.
              ---

Match #4 - Next Gen Unrivaled (with Cody) vs. Crime Time

Result: A great tag match, but as is the case with most NGU matches, it has a screwy finish. After some solid back and forth tag action, Cody trips the leg of JTG as he's running the ropes, allowing Cody Hall to hit a running Big Boot, then boot Shad off the apron and go for the pin and get the 1-2-3.

NGU and Cody celebrate and head backstage.

              ---
Cody and NGU are all smiles and celebrations. They head into the Bullet Club locker room where they're greeted by Nic Nemeth.

Nemeth congratulates Cody and NGU. He says they beat Colin Delaney, and cheated to beat Crime Time, great job.

Cody nearly snaps. He tells Nemeth that he's a control freak and way too hands on as a leader. Cody says that as the leader of Bullet Club, he should be happy when Bullet Club is successful, period.

Finlay tells Rhodes and Hall to follow him, he's buying drinks on account of tonight being a clean sweep for Bullet Club. The three men walk off.

IC Champion Dave Mastiff walks in now and gets right in Nic Nemeths face. Mastiff says that he needs to stop focusing on his little play pals, and start focusing on the fact that he has an IC championship match lined up against the meanest man in pro wrestling.

Nemeth responds telling Mastiff not to worry, he's laser focused, and he's coming for that IC title. Mastiff snickers and walks off, unimpressed by Nemeth's claim.
              ---

Match #5 - PAC vs. Rob Van Dam

Result: Solid back and forth action. This rivalry has been slowly festering over the past month or so, and what we have here is more a brawl than a wrestling match. We see a lot of both mens signature offensive styles. RVD uses his vast array of unique kicks and bodyweight offense. PAC works his more aggressive offensive style, perhaps even more so than usual as he attempts to ground the agile RVD. The match goes all over the ring and ringside, and in the end PAC hits the Black Arrow and gets the victory.

              ---

Killing it with these shows, Smoove!

The tension with the Bullet Club is so much fun with Cody getting all pissy at Nic.

Bennett and Davey Boy have an...interesting name...excited for them still!

Ibushi possibly being out is interesting.

Kongo Kong is so meh, haha.

                Crime Time deserve better.

Dave Mastiff is going to have a war against the Bullet Club.

PAC defeated RVD very easily, but that was expected. Was hoping for a better match.

Boiling point probably coming soon with that story

Originally went with the name because it sounded cool, I think it works with the militant patriotism I'm giving them as well as how Britain is often characterized with feminine pronouns.

Totally agree with Kong, but every wrestling promotion has at least one or two of those meh big men.

                    Another show.

                    Smith/Bennett are gonna be tough.

Mastiff getting in Nemeth's face is great.

Love Cody and Next Gen Unrivaled think their wins are something worth celebrating.

                    Main event was really good.

After the attack on The Golden Lovers at the hands of Stu Bennett and Davey Boy Smith Jr., Kota Ibushi will be out indefinitely. As a result, Kenny Omega will be forced to relinquish the tag team championships on Dynamite on behalf of The Golden Lovers.

There will be a 5 team round robin tournament held to decide new tag team champions. Participants as follows.

                      Britannia
                      Sabre & Sabin
                      Bullet Club

                      5th team TBD

The 5th team in the tag team round robin will be decided in a fatal 4-way tornado tag on between 4 hungry tag teams. Kenny Omega will be in one of those four teams, as he'll be able to choose partner to compete with.

In a rematch from last weeks double count out finish, PCO will take on Psycho Clown.

Cody will revisit an old rivalry as he goes one on one with Brian Cage.

Chris Jericho will take on TJ Perkins in singles action.

In the main event, the AEW World Championship will be on the line as Pentagon Jr. defends against Eddie Edwards.

                          LIVE on TBS
                          November Week 1

The show opens with AEW Color Commentator Jim Ross in the ring. Ross welcomes us to the show before directing us to a replay of last weeks events involving Britannia and The Golden Lovers, and the injury sustained by Kota Ibushi. Ross calls out Kenny Omega.

Omega walks down to the ring, holding one of the AEW tag team championships on each shoulder. Ross apologizes to Omega for the unfortunate circumstances, but says that Omega will have to relinquish the AEW tag team championships.

Omega hands over the belts, then asks for Jim Ross's microphone. Ross obliges and leaves the ring. Omega says that he understands that being a champion here in AEW comes with a target on your back that everyone is aimed at, but what Britannia did last week went way too far. Omega says that his focus now is on qualifying for the tag team round robin, not only to get back the tag team championships, but to get Britannia in the ring and deliver a measure of revenge.

Omega says that he isn't in the mood for talking anymore - he's in the mood for a fight. Omega introduces his tag team partner for this tournament qualifying match... Johnny Elite!

Omega points towards the stage, but there's no response. He jokingly remarks "let's try that again" and reintroduces his tag team partner, Johnny Elite! Still, there's no response, until a the tron picks up a camera feed backstage, where Johnny Elite is being jumped by Bennett and Smith! Omega quickly runs to the back and a camera follows, but by the time he arrives Britannia has fleed, and Elite is in bad shape. The tag qualifier is supposed to be next!

                          ---

Match #1 - Tag Tournament Qualifier - Crime Time vs. The Bouncers vs. Chavo Guerrero & Davey Danger vs. Kenny Omega & Johnny Elite.

The match begins and it looks like this is gonna be a triple threat tag, as Omega and Elite are nowhere to be found. It's a chaotic match with fighting all around the ring and ringside, perhaps a bit too chaotic to keep track of. After a good amount of action, Kenny Omega emerges from backstage and joins the fight! He's gonna go at it alone!

The action continues, with Omega doing a solid job fighting on with no partner. Eventually however Omega gets double teamed by The Syndicate members Chavo and Davey, and with no one to save him he's taken out of the equation long enough for the finishing sequence to take place. The finish comes with Brian Milonas of The Bouncers hitting a bigtime powerslam on Davey Danger and picking up the win.

                          The Bouncers win by pinfall

The Bouncers win and advance into the tag championship tourney.

                          ---

Match #2 - PCO vs. Psycho Clown

A rematch from last weeks physical matchup that ended in a double count out. This is every bit as physical as last weeks match and then some. It's an all out brawl that even sees PCO pick up the first ever two count on Psycho Clown in his young AEW career. In the end however the match ends with a massive superplex that immobilizes both men in the middle of the ring. The two men are unable to answer the refs count of ten, and this match is over.

                          NO CONTEST

For the second week in a row neither man is able to get the win here. Eventually the two men are able to reach their feet, and they argue with the ref to restart the match. The crowd chants to the ref to restart the match, but there's nothing that can be done, this one is over.

                          ---

Backstage, Cody is talking to Cody Hall and David Finlay before his match with Brian Cage, when IC Champion Dave Mastiff walks up to them.

Mastiff says no one is more familiar with Brian Cage than him, but he isn't gonna drop any tips about that right now. Mastiff says he will offer this advice though - the three of them are simply better off without that sorry excuse for a leader Nic Nemeth. Mastiff says it's time for them to consider making a move for their careers, and to stop working for his.

Mastiff walks off, leaving Cody and NGU with something to think about.
                          ---

Match #3 - Cody (with Next Gen Unrivaled) vs. Brian Cage

Both men go back and forth for a while in a rather by the numbers match, as the chemistry still doesn't seem to be quite their between two men who have had their fair share of matches in AEW.

When Brian Cage gets the upper hand and the match seems out of reach, NGU runs into the ring and attacks him.

                          Brian Cage wins by DQ

NGU and Cody gather like hyenas over the body of Brian Cage and the beatdown begins. Before it can get too far, Nic Nemeth runs down and stops them. It takes some convincing but eventually Nemeth is successful in calling off the beatdown, and Cody and NGU walk away to the top of the stage.

As Nemeth checks on Cage, Mastiff runs in from the back and clocks Nemeth. Mastiff picks up Nemeth and delivers a bodyslam hard into the mat, then stands over him posing with the Intercontinental Championship. Cody and NGU are still at the top of the stage, but choose not to run down and help, instead electing to watch it all go down.

                          ---

Match #4 - Chris Jericho vs. TJ Perkins

Good back and forth matchup. Perkins really shines as he gets a lot of offense in, but like a gift from God Jericho gets yet another break as Perkins slips while attempting a springboard off the rope, and Jericho takes advantage by locking in the Walls of Jericho and winning it.

                          Chris Jericho wins by submission

                          ---

Backstage, PJ Black is with his fellow Syndicate members Davey Danger and Chavo Guerrero.

Danger and Chavo are upset about their loss in tonights opening match. Black reassures them, saying that it's ok that they lost, because the important thing is that he remains forever and for all the eternity the Junior Elite Champion. Black says that as long as they continue to make sure of that, The Syndicate is fulfilling their purpose.

Will Ospreay walks up into the frame. Ospreay says that if he really thinks he's impressing anyone with this title reign, he's completely delusional.

Black responds saying that if he wasn't a deserving champion, Ospreay would have taken the title off of him months ago, but that still hasn't happened. In fact, Ospreay has failed time and time again.

Ospreay say's that Black is right, he's screwed him over more than anyone else with the help of his two stooges. Ospreay says that he was talking to AEW management, and they've granted him one more shot at the Junior Elite Championship... this time in a steel cage. Ospreay vows to finish this once and for all.

Ospreay walks off, and panic begins to set on the face of Black and his two Syndicate partners.
                          ---

Match #5 - AEW World Heavyweight Championship - Pentagon Jr. © vs. Eddie Edwards

The crowd is split nearly down the middle for this world title matchup, perhaps with a slight edge towards Pentagon Jr. The bell rings and Edwards goes for a running dropkick, but like a mind reader Pentagon saw it coming and was already running to slip under it.

That exchange tells the story of this very physical back and forth match up. Even when Edwards is getting his offense in, it seems like Pentagon is one step ahead. Edwards shows great resilience, kicking out of many big moves. Against nearly any other opponent, this would already have been a win for Edwards, but Pentagon is just so strong. He kicks out of 3 Boston Knee Party finishers, and in the end delivers a Running Fear Factor to end an amazing match.

                          Pentagon Jr. wins by pinfall

I liked the opening segment and The Bouncers winning is interesting.

The Bullet Club-Next Gen rivalry has been so great.

Mastiff taking people out ahead of time is getting interesting.

                            Main Event was spot on.

More stars on their way out of AEW?, Dynamite November Week 2 Preview
                              by Paul Marshall

The roster turnover for AEW has been high over the past few months, and seemingly isn't done yet.

Sources within AEW have leaked information regarding Kota Ibushi, Eli Drake, and Rob Van Dam all possibly being on their way out soon.

Eli Drake has been a part of AEW since day one, but has taken a reduced role in the past couple of months. He hasn't been seen on TV since September where he lost clean to RVD.

Kota Ibushi is another AEW original, but the feeling is that he's been booked for too long as the second fiddle to Kenny Omega, and that he feels he's better suited making another run in NJPW. Ibushi was recently written off TV in an injury angle with Britannia, and relinquished the tag titles as a result. This only lends credence to the rumors.

Rob Van Dam signed to AEW in September on a pay-per=appearance contract, meaning he's free to finish up whenever he feels. After putting over PAC to end a short program, it wouldn't be too shocking if RVD a day, at least for now.

AEW has released the official preview for the Dynamite November Week 1 show
PCO and Psycho Clown have been quite the unique matchup. Both of their matches so far have ended in non decisions, with the first going to double countout on the outside, and the second ending when neither man was able to answer a 10 count in the ring. Their third match however won't have that problem, because they'll meet in a fall count anywhere match.

Kazichuka Okada will return to action as he takes on Davey Richards.

The Tag Championship Round Robin will officially begin. There will be two matches held as CCK will take on The Bouncers, and The Young Bucks will take on Sabre & Sabin in a battle of former tag champions.

In a rather bizarre booking decision, Cody and Nic Nemeth will team together for the first time ever to take on another unstable tag team of Dave Mastiff and Brian Cage. Will long time rivals Mastiff and Cage be able to work together? And even more interestingly, will Cody and Nemeth of Bullet Club be able to work together!?

In the main event, PJ Black defend his Junior Elite Championship against Will Ospreay in a steel cage. Can Will Ospreay finally end the reign of tyranny of PJ Black over the Junior Division?

Pentagon will officially be at 175 days as AEW World Champion as of this show, tying him with Okada's reign. Considering he has no defense scheduled, this will guarantee Pentagon Jr. becoming the longest reigning world champion (or champion period) in AEW history. Pentagon will appear live to address the AEW fans regarding this massive achievement.
