Re: 2010 Recruiting Thread
question for you guys who know how recruiting works.
skip has stated that we currently have 5 commits, but only two of which are known. he says that they let the recruit go public about the commitment when they want to, rather than letting rivals and scout know as soon as it happens. is the the standard practice among coaches or is it unorthodox?favorite teams

nba- boston celtics (bobcats are a close second)
mlb- boston redsox

Re: 2010 Recruiting Thread
Baylor stole an OL from Tech today. Troy Baker, a 6'7", 285 pounder. He plays HS ball at Connally, which is about 12 minutes from Baylor. I thought he was pretty solid with Tech, so this is a surprise.
Now if Ahmad Dixon ill switch from UT (Dixon plays right up the road from Baylor at Midway which is like a 7 minute drive) and Lache Seastrunk can commit too... =)
I have heard that Lache has been to a lot of Baylor practices (as well as Dixon) and has been hanging around Robert Griffin a lot. Temple is just 30 miles South of Baylor, stay at home Lache.
I know, just a dream but you never know...Comment

Re: 2010 Recruiting Thread
Baker was a "soft" commit to Texas Tech, which basically means that Tech was his leader for a long time. Great pickup for Baylor. He should be a cornerstone on their line for a few years.Comment
