Mizzou to the SEC and Cuse/Pitt to the ACC......how exactly is that making either conference better or going to increase TV revenue?

I'm seriously asking, someone enlighten me.

It won't. It's not as if people in Kansas City are all of a sudden going to care about Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, etc football.

For the ACC, it gives them a presence in the northeast more significant than the tiny Boston College. I can immediately see how it benefits them.

Mizzou to the SEC? I'm not as sure. It does move the SEC westward, along with Texas A&M.

No, but it is pretty clear living in the heart of SEC country.

Just saw on the bottom line that SEC is denying extending any kind of offer to Mizzou.

Of course they would deny it. To my knowledge, Missouri didn't notify the Big 12 they were looking to change conferences did they? That was the whole fiasco with A&M initially correct?

Some are some aren't. I was for A&M. Either way on Mizzou. I'm thumbs up for OU/OSU

I would like to keep the conference as is. But that isn't going to happen.

I've been under the impression everybody is trying to leave the Big 12.

It does seem that way. I just was thinking how Texas A&M had to get "permission" first from the Big 12, and then the SEC "officially" made an invitation to avoid any legal issues.

I just hope WVU manages to slip into another BCS conference. If Missouri doesn't go to the SEC and decides to stay in the Big 12, then WVU going to the SEC doesn't seem too unlikely to me as I was under the impression that it was basically between Missouri and West Virginia for the 14th spot. Then again, impressions can be grossly wrong.

If Missouri does join the SEC, anyways, could WVU end up being invited to the Big 12 (along with maybe TCU and Louisville/BYU) to prop the conference back up to 12 teams? That is purely speculation, though.
