Yeah I agree on the Big East. Of course, even if the Big East implodes I'm not sure that we would get ND, but I suppose the B1G sees them as the only school that would move the pile.

I don't think UT is an option for the Big Ten. Texas will never give up the Longhorn Network, and the Big Ten will never compromise the Big Ten Network or equal revenue sharing (these factors aside from the obvious geographic mis-match).

By that logic Kentucky shouldnt be in the SEC either. Lol.

You should probably lay off the(insert team here) not getting into the SEC for awhile.

Surprise there is no mention of TCU to the Big 12.

I'm more amazed that they are going to have to pay two exit fees now.

TCU to the Big 12 sounds like a done deal right now :o

It's looking like if Mizzou stays, that is where Big 12 expansion will stop. If Mizzou goes, Big 12 targets look to be BYU, West Virginia, and Louisville to get to 12.

Either way is fine with me, although (assuming WVU to the SEC is legit) I would love to snap up BYU and Louisville anyway if Mizzou stays and get to 12, but OU and UT prefer a 10 team league.

TCU will attempt to not pay exit fees to the Big East as they were not a member yet and the league now is not the same one they joined with Syracuse and Pitt having left.

This would leave the Big East with 6 members, and at least one (and maybe as many as 4) on very shaky ground. Not looking so hot. They can only afford to lose one more member to keep their BCS bid without an automatic re-evaluation (need to retain 5 current members, and have 8 minimum total members, according to BCS rules).

TCU to Big 12 is "done deal" according to CBS Sports & Twitter is blowing up.

Texas AD DeLoss Dodds: "We’re proud that TCU has been invited to join the Big 12."

Re: Conference Re-Alignment Thread Part Who Knows

I hate when people talk about stuff they don't know about. This guy commented on my friend's Facebook status saying that TCU is a worthless addition to the conference. So I provided the fact that TCU has more wins over the past 3 seasons than more than half the conference, and has more all-time wins than half the conference.

Here's the numbers for those interested

                        Last 3 years
                        TCU-36 wins
                        Missouri-28
                        Texas Tech-28
                        Texas A&M-19
                        Kansas State-18
                        Kansas- 16
                        Baylor-15
                        Iowa State-14

                        All-time
                        TCU-581
                        Kansas-573
                        Baylor-532
                        Texas Tech-521
                        Oklahoma State-517
                        Iowa State-481
                        Kansas State-470

So I think TCU is far from a worthless addition. I think the Big XII-III+? would be just what TCU needs to eventually make a NC. Clearly not this year, but soon when they go undefeated again.

I'd rather the Big 12 get back to 12 or even more. Conference was supposedly dead in the water, twice... and now looks alive and well.

Geographically, TCU makes much more sense in the Big XII as opposed to the Big East so I don't have a problem with that. WVU is on a sinking ship in the Big East and it doesn't appear that anyone is tossing them a raft. Loyalty is no longer existent in the world of sports, college or pro. It's amazing how the landscapes of sports have changed in the past 10 years and will continue to do so.
