Also, forgot to post this yesterday, but Lincoln Riley signed yet another extension at Oklahoma.

So whichever NFL job opens up next, he's not taking it.

And why in the world would you add ND and not have them and Miami play?

Now I am leaning towards team cancel the season just so I don't have to watch this nonsense play out. The ACC is only saved by the Pac 12 from being the worst run P5 conference.
I can't believe they completely changed the opponents instead of just replacing the OOC games.

The OOC games are going to be hard to get if the SEC only plays conference games. They will have to pay teams to travel and pay them to meet the testing requirements. You may see some schools not play a OOC game or just play an ACC team. UF is required to play FSU, but if the SEC says no OOC games, not sure what FSU would do. Maybe UCF or USF will be willing to play.

It's as if the decision was rushed and not thought through at all, which can be said for a ton of decisions made during this pandemic. Swofford will at least be gone soon, but this conference will likely remain a joke. I wish Miami and FSU could leave the All Carolina Conference. I hate FSU, but the amount of BS both of our programs deal with in this conference is a joke.

I'm thinking it was Swofford's final knife in the back of FSU, Clemson, and UM. The guy just seems to hate anything not NC based.

I will agree 100% with that. It didn't get the All Carolina Conference nickname for no reason at all.

Pitt's schedule as shown is now nasty. FSU, Clemson, Miami, ND? Ugh.

The PAC-12 schedules consists of a week 1 Territorial Cup...Week 4 Civil War. They did leave the Apple Cup for Thanksgiving Weekend even though the season goes one week longer. But I don't understand not leaving the rivalry games for the end.

I thought they made the rivalry games 1st because they’re in the same state and it gives it more flexibility to move it back.

Covid has made the last 5 months tough. But now it has deprived us of Alabama vs. UT Martin? Now it has crossed the line!!!

I saw the Pac 12 story when it first starting having some smoke a few weeks back. I am assuming they are starting out with some really unrealistic demands in hopes of meeting somewhere a bit more in the middle. I certainly hope so because of what they are asking for revenue-wise is absolutely crazy and will not fly. On top of that, they w ant more sports brought back while getting a 50-50 revenue split when the vast majority of Athletic Dept's lose money each year.

Look, the players should be allowed to profit off of their name, image, and likeness. They should be taken care of a bit better medically speaking, especially when an injury threatens their athletic careers and they potentially even lose a scholarship. They should probably even have a longer period of time to return to school and finish their degree. I know most schools already let former players come back at any time, but it isn't standard across the board.

All of that said, these Pac-12 players are going a bit too far with their demands and I certainly hope they are starting unrealistic to negotiate towards something a bit more rational.

They are using covid, social issues, and pay to try and get some type of power. They have greatly overestimated their power and value. Most if not all the PAC12 would shut down all sports if forced to give into their demands.
