There are 14 weeks until launch, I certainly would hope that they've made 14 improvements to the game where they could drop 1 to us a week.

It just scares me that there isn't a lot of information to release to us and that is why it isn't getting released.

The cover voting ended today so hopefully we can get something soon? Just something to keep my interest high
Even though they dont follow the same schedule every year, They dont usually start giving a blogs until around early-mid April.
I am not worried yet, but I would like to know when they are releasing the next blog so I wouldnt have to check every day.

I am a big RTG and Be a PRo player, but it wouldnt give me the "I cant wait" moment. For me to have a "I cant wait" moment is if they announce Custom Playbooks or a form of Coaching Carousel.

        When I saw these tweets
        "

Just got confirmation of an exciting detail returning in NCAA12 from Ben at EA. Hint: It's my favorite small detail from the PS2 days

Cant go into detail yet, but Everyone should know what I'm talking about in the next set of NCAA12 screens that will be released soon."
I thought there would be something that week. Maybe this week

Even though we dont get what we want, the game is still enjoyable at times. just be patient. Im sure we will get info this week.

I believe that is his point, as is my concern as well. How is it that games that come out way later have more information about the game released already? IMO if you are excited about your game, and you feel that you have "nailed" the game you are working on, you would want to get as much information out as quickly as possible. As with any game, when I do not hear something of substance until 2 or 3 months before the game comes out, it tells me that the people that made it are not very excited about it. Again, I am not advocating that we get every detail this week, but something that makes the community say, "oh my god, finally". I am sorry, but dreads do not count, I would play with all bald players as long as it felt like an actual football game and not something I drop a quarter in at the local arcade. Also, as for everyone not being excited just over the graphics update, in all honesty, graphics are only good for about the first week or first season you play. What really keeps people interested and coming back even after football season is the gameplay itself. Time, and time again the developers manage to listen to some of the big graphical complaints, but never really do anything about gameplay. I have said it before, you may be living in a mansion, but what is that mansion worth when there is no foundation?

Those tweets are from March 26 so I really would have hoped those screens would be released by now.

I hate myself for doing it, but I went back through a couple of Christian's articles about NCAA and the thing that keeps coming up is Bowl Patches and "Pride Stickers" (helmet stickers).

These are also things that would be easily identifiable in a new set of screenshots...

My $.02. When EA is quiet about something, most of the time "it" hasn't been added to the game. Or it's bad news. For example, last year after the first screen shot most people thought "maybe EA put dreads in and they're just waiting to reveal them." EA doesn't operate like that. They reveal everything right away and then kinda bluff like they have more when they really don't. Like when they started the blogs slow that year and had the first one about wind socks, at first everyone was like "theyre starting slow" but really they didnt really have that much else. ... SO my point here is, the fact that EA hasn't said anything leads me to believe they don't really have anything...... We have a trailer for madden and it comes out later than ncaa

If you want to get technical, the first feature announced for NCAA 10 was the QB Autodrop back. those Windsocks people keep mentioning was a 1 line mention in a blog that was mostly about bowl game end zone art. not sure why that keeps being brought up as if EA was hyping it up as a big feature or something.

first info for NCAA 11 was good though, it listed 9 or so "new" features(Refs, formation subs, Auto Save, Auto load rosters, new equipment, Dynamic conference logo, Alabama helmet #'s showing during gameplay, single bowl week, and "gang tackling".

Don't remember what/if they release any early info for NCAA '09. I know they did something really different that year and pretty much listed every new feature in late April(maybe early May) with a feature list so they had nothing to talk about until the demo came out and the game was released. but I don't think they started doing the developer blogs until NCAA 10 anyway though. usually info only came out around media events like E3 back then, and maybe a "preview" article from places like IGN and the like.

I am shocked NOBODY mentioned the ALL NEW PYLON PHYSICS! Come on guys, that is a major development! How about they reveal if you can actually play your human onlien dynasty opponent online? One would think they would want to address that major issue from 2011.

Re: Anyone else not excited about NCAA 12?

I bought every College game since they've been making them going back to Bill Walsh.... I bought every Madden game they ever made until 2 years ago (09 was my last copy I've bought) , and I have to agree somewhat with the topic of this thread. I really can't say I'm going to give NCAA a chance this year, I feel as though I'm just over it. The game just doesn't improve or change enough. I think I may go for Madden this year although I'm not entirely sure on that either.

These guys have ran NCAA into the ground - Since coming to next gen there has been more than ample time to put out a much superior product than what they're releasing for the past two years. It pains me to say it, and maybe I'm finally maturing past NCAA Football at the age of 28, but that's my honest opinion on the state of NCAA right now. And there's no excuses that they can make, there's more than ample time that with a plan and a focus this should be a lot better, instead the plan and focus is "get the $60 again this year" which ironically goes against the pride and pageantry that NCAA Football is/should be all about.

They need to clean house, or these guys need to take a long look in the mirror and rededicate themselves because as a longtime fan(boy) of the game, I really feel indifferent about the series.

It's hard to get excited for a game that comes out in 3 months and they the stores want us to pre order it now and then hardly any info has came out about the game. They need to send out some real info this week.

NCAA 11 took big steps forward. Its not like it went downhill.

there isn't a reason at this point no real info has been released, but playing 11 and knowing what they said about the lighting and grass i can already imagine a visual difference of the game. But the rest will soon be coming especially since the cover voting is done now the cover will be announced in two weeks so within one week we should get some info. The art dept the only one who get info from at this point. we know about some of the visual stuff: grass , lighting, increased staduim sounds, and band in proper places at stadiums.

It's either a quality coaching carousel and other dynasty mode improvements or bust for me. The current dynasty mode is too much work to get anything close to realistic.

5 Years and they made big steps in 2011? I'm not sure what that big step was, I'm still looking. It was the best of the bunch, but after 5 years on next gen I'd expect more than them making a game that at least doesn't go downhill.

I've been pretty patient and the game hasn't advanced - it's fair to say that this is just only a mediocre game. A few tweaks, 25 new plays, and new box art doesn't get me excited anymore - Now I'm not saying that won't change as we get closer, but at this point NCAA isn't on my radar this year which is the first time ever.
