    Re: EA DB Editor error

Whenever I try to use your version of the editor, I get an error message telling me that there was an unhandled exception. Specifixally, it tells me that it "Could not load file or assembly 'MC02Handler, Version=01.1.1.0, Culture=neutral. PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

I'm using Xan Dynasty config if this matters. Thanks in advance.

So the ea dB editor comes in a folder with the ea dB editor and a bunch of other stuff. There is an mc02 handler in that folder and you should take that out of the folder and take the editor out of the folder. Then put both of them in the same folder with nothing else in it. That should do the trick.

I'm not seeing a mc02 handler in the folder. I've checked the zips (both Xanathol's editor and your version). For your .zip, I'm only seeing the db editor and Xan's has a folder of images, two .dll files (Antlr3****ntime and N.Calc), and the two .xml config files. Am I missing something? Do you know the name of the file?

Huh. I was just going based off of what fixed the NCalc problem if you get it. I assumed it would be the same, but I’ll look into it.

Hey just randomly found the MC02 Handler in the zip on a post (by TarHeelPhenom on page 334 of the NCAA 2014 FOUR Team Playoff Guide) for a Madden 12 Editor. Copied it over to the parent22's folder with the two other configs from Xan's and I've got it working.

The Madden editor also seems to have a search duplicates function for players.

Can't post a direct link since I'm new here.

If so, DO NOT rename the file with an mc02 extension. Leave it alone.

In the Editor, after you load a config file (Xan's has scheduling and any other dynasty options you want) select "open.". In the Windows box that pops up, change the drop down box from "mc02 files" to "All Files.". Select your usr-data, and voilà.
Thanks, but I tried that and it still gives me the same message. I know it's decrypted. It won't let me change the drop down box either. It does allow me to enter "*.*" though. I still get the "not a MC02 or db file" error though

I got this too... but I only got the error for a dynasty file with teambuilder teams.

PocketScout's config file has been working great for me. I'm still getting the "Unhandled Exception" error using Xan's though. Does anyone have an update to get this working or another work-around for editing players?

Edit: Got it working with the Madden 12 editor to delete my duplicate player IDs. More info in this thread

I wasn't able to import my dynasty info on to the editor it would just give me that error, until i used the pocketscout one. I didn't finish the product, so to speak, but i was able to make some changes with pocketscout because it actually displayed everything. Thanks for all the help this far, couldn't have done it without you. Any suggestions on what I should mod? What have you done?
                        hey man,
I've been trying to get this to work for hours and just cant get it. Do you remember what you did to make it stop giving you the first error posted in this thread? I've tried both configs, using non mc02 files, using horizon instead of modio (which wont even recognize my USB as a save device to open the dynasty files), and just about every other suggestion I could find. Help would be much appreciated.

Just checking to see if there has been any way to do the playoff mod for NCAA14 dynasties with team builder teams in them? I was able to mod before with an LSU season but just started a dynasty with a team builder team and am unable to do so when I attempt the same process (BruteForce, EA DB editor with Pocketscout). This is for PS3

Download Skulletors editor. It’s somewhere in the TeamBuilder teams in the editor (WIP) thread.
