Re: How is your dynasty going
So I ended up taking Cubs017's advice and not overhaul my playbook. I just made some changes.
I eliminated a few Shotgun formations and added some I-form and Flexbone. I might add a little Ace as well, but idk. I also made changes to the depth chart. I shuffled around my offensive line, and made my Freshman power back the starter at RB. He's done well in limited time so I'm gonna give him more touches. I also have 2 mobile FBs I'm gonna use more often. The 2 scat backs I had starting are gonna be role players for when I wanna run a quick-hitting pass. Either a screen or a shot downfield. We're gonna run more power plays (including options), and short passes to negate the bad o-line.
Hope this works. Tulane's got Houston this week, then a Bye.

Clemson 2014: Week 1
Hey guys I've always enjoyed Dynasty Mode and I happened to run across this thread so I figured I would make one for long term. I choose Clemson because I liked the prospect of having a QB that was a threat with his legs as well as his arm. I am currently running the game on Green Heisman sliders but will increase them as I go along and get better.
CLEMSON VS ARKANSAS STATE
--------------------------------
In an effort to get off to a good start and learn the ropes of Clemson's Offense I decided to replace Georgia with Arkansas State on the schedule. Overall I am very happy with the way my team performed. I also may have located some particular sliders that may need some adjusting (CPU Pass Blocking) so let me know what you think.
In what turned out to be a 43-14 route of Arkansas State my Defensive Line was easily the most impressive part of my team. Finishing out with a combined 11 sacks the opposing QB, Adam Kennedy, rarely had enough time to get the ball off. Easily the most dominate player on this DL was Grady Jarrett (DT #50) who racked up 8 solo tackles, 5 TFLs, 2 FFs, and an unbelievable 5 sacks. Due to this unprecedented dominate performance by a DT Jarrett was awarded NCAA Defensive POTW. Also performing incredibly on the Defensive front would be LE #6 who recorded amazing stats of 6 solo tackles, 3 sacks, 3 TFLs, and a Pass Deflection.
Because of this Defensive dominance Clemson was able to quickly get Arkansas States QB off the field quickly and consistently. It also allowed Taj Boyd (QB #10) to get onto the field and do his thing. The passing game threat that results from Taj Boyd passing to recievers like Sammy Watkins and Charone Peak (WR #19) is almost unstoppable when you make the correct reads.
I did not have the best day passing against Arkansas State. At the end of the day Taj Boyd threw for a horrid 19-for-44 (43%) with 3 major Interceptions. However he did put up 303 yards though much of that came on 2 long bombs of 4+ yards. Our leading reciever was WR #19 with an impressive 7 receptions of 156 yards and a long of 45 yards. Not far behind in the recieving department was Sammy Watkins with 6 receptions for 97 yards and a long of 40 yards.
Though I did not have the most spectacular game through the air I was able to move the ball using different option plays (Read Option, Inverted Veer, Triple Option). The majority of the rushing yards for Clemson resulted from the read man biting on the running back and Taj Boyd pulling it around the edge for big yardage. Taj Boyd finished the day with 28 carries for 158 yards and 3 TDs. I can hope that these kind of QB rushing stats are enough to keep him in the running for Heisman even with many noticable passing errors.
POST GAME PRESS CONFERENCE
-------------------------------
~ As long as I have a QB that is capable running the ball I will use options as an integral part of my run game. (not quite as much as I did this game)
~ Playing against FCS East next I need to really flesh out my offense and work on making presnap reads.
~ I am throwing way to many picks (See above)
~ CPU Pass Blocking needs to be vamped up
~ I am in good standing for several good WRs in recruiting.Comment

Re: How is your dynasty going
I actually am a Razorbacks fan first (home state) and a Notre Dame fan second so picking Michigan was not an easy feat to say the least as I must say I loved watching the Rich Rod years as the Wolverines were terrible and getting to see Mallet come back Arkansas from Michigan. If tOSU wasnt so good in my dynasty I might have gotten an offer from them but instead I will be stuck taking *** whippins from them atleast the first couple years.NCAA 2014: Current DynastyComment
